EBG Group Commences Integrated Wellness and Education Hub in Ongole

EBG Group, an Indian conglomerate, is set to commence an integrated wellness and education development in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, following a foundation stone laying ceremony scheduled for August 19, 2026. Spiritual leader Pujya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji will preside over the event, marking the formal beginning of three distinct initiatives: the Carlton Wellness Retreat, the Sri Sri Panchakarma & Tattva Centre, and the Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir.

The development, spearheaded by EBG Realty, the real-estate arm of EBG Group (https://www.ebggroup.com), is envisioned as a cohesive ecosystem rather than standalone projects. It aims to integrate wellness hospitality, traditional Ayurvedic practices, and values-based education within a single environment. The ceremony will take place at Sai Vishnu Chaturvatika, NH 216, Chadalavada, Ongole, Prakasam District.

EBG Group: Overview

Dr. Irfan Khan, Founder & Chairman of EBG Group, commented on the initiative, stating, “This endeavor transcends typical business objectives. We are focused on cultivating an environment where wellness, education, nature, spirituality, and community are interwoven into daily life. Our aim is to establish a legacy that promotes wellbeing and serves future generations.”

The Carlton Wellness Retreat is designed as an immersive destination for rest and renewal, combining hospitality with a focus on mindful living in a natural setting. Complementing this, the Sri Sri Panchakarma & Tattva Centre will offer authentic Ayurvedic and Panchakarma treatments, emphasizing traditional healing, rejuvenation, and holistic wellbeing. The Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir will integrate values-based education, providing a curriculum that balances academic rigor with character development and cultural awareness.

This comprehensive project seeks to position Ongole as a developing carbon-neutral wellness destination within Andhra Pradesh. It aims to demonstrate the potential of Tier-2 cities to contribute to India’s burgeoning tourism and wellness economies by leveraging natural assets and integrating responsible construction, energy-efficient design, and sustainable practices. The initiative reflects broader industry developments in India’s wellness tourism sector, which are increasingly focusing on integrated, sustainable models, as reported on TechnoSports (https://technosports.co.in/).

The project incorporates responsible construction methods, energy-efficient designs, green spaces, water-conscious planning, and clean mobility solutions. This approach seeks to ensure coexistence with the natural surroundings while offering a distinctive environment for healthier and more conscious living for families, wellness seekers, and visitors.
