Some on-screen romances feel scripted. This one doesn’t. A new making-of video from Dream to You shows Hwang In Youp and Hyeri ad-libbing almost an entire romantic scene — and the crew couldn’t stop talking about it.

What The Behind-The-Scenes Clip Reveals in Dream to You?

The footage captures the two leads carrying a natural, flowing conversation in character, with barely any reliance on the written script. Their ease together left the set visibly impressed. In a separate moment, the director praised Hwang In Youp’s comic timing, calling him a natural at comedy, while Hyeri backed that up by joking that he “handles the comedy in the rom-com.” She, in turn, earned praise for her energy and running form in an on-location scene.

Why Fans Can’t Stop Watching

Dream to You has built its appeal on exactly this kind of lived-in chemistry between Woo Soo Bin, the director who chased his dream, and Ju Yi Jae, the reporter who let hers go. What makes this making-of clip land is that it confirms what viewers have already sensed on screen — the warmth between the leads isn’t just good writing, it’s genuine rapport translating directly into performance. That’s often the difference between a rom-com that feels sweet and one that feels believable.
