Let’s be real — when a Bollywood film crosses Rs. 970 crore at the domestic box office, that’s not just a number. That’s a statement. Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has done something no Hindi film has ever done before, and even in its final weeks, it’s still putting up numbers worth talking about.

Where Does Dhurandhar Stand Right Now?

On its 6th Monday, the spy action drama collected Rs. 90 lakh — slipping just under the Rs. 1 crore mark for the first time. That’s a 33% drop from Friday, which is entirely expected at this stage of a film’s theatrical run. The cumulative nett collection at the Hindi box office now stands at approximately Rs. 969.90 crore.

Based on current trends, the film is expected to close this week at around Rs. 10 crore more, marching toward a final lifetime total of Rs. 980–985 crore in Hindi. Add the nearly Rs. 60 crore from South Indian dubbed versions, and the all-India theatrical total has already surpassed Rs. 1,000 crore nett — a monumental achievement.

Why This Film Is a Historic Milestone?

Dhurandhar: The Revenge isn’t just a blockbuster — it’s a landmark. It became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time in India and single-handedly inaugurated the Rs. 700 crore, Rs. 800 crore, and Rs. 900 crore box office clubs at the Hindi box office. To understand the scale of this achievement, consider that the Indian film industry has been producing films for over a century, and this is the first Hindi film to shatter multiple such milestones in a single run.

The Rs. 1000 crore mark in all-India nett collections — inclusive of dubbed versions — is already done. The Hindi-only total crossing Rs. 975 crore in the 7th weekend now looks like a formality.
