How the 1000 Crore Milestone Was Crossed?

The Hindi version alone collected Rs. 944.75 crore nett after four full weeks. Adding Rs. 55.50 crore nett from South-dubbed versions pushed the film comfortably past the Rs. 1000 crore nett mark in India — making Dhurandhar: The Revenge only the third Indian film ever to achieve this, after Baahubali: The Conclusion and Pushpa: The Rule. Notably, all three are sequels — a pattern that says a lot about how franchise filmmaking has redefined Indian box office culture.

The fourth week alone brought in Rs. 48 crore nett, representing a drop of around 50 per cent from Week 3 — a healthy hold at this stage of the run. In fact, the fourth-week figure is the third highest of all time, behind Dhurandhar (Rs. 100.50 crore) and Pushpa 2 Hindi (Rs. 50.75 crore).

An All-Time Blockbuster — By Any Measure

The film’s footfall count currently sits at 3.50 crore, likely ending around 3.75 crore. While that’s marginally below the traditional All-Time Blockbuster threshold on footfalls, the premium pricing strategy has elevated the collection to a 5 crore footfall equivalent — proving that in modern Bollywood, it’s ultimately the revenue that defines legacy.

With Bhooth Bangla now in cinemas offering the first real competition, the film may add another Rs. 25–35 crore nett to its tally, potentially closing its Hindi run near Rs. 980 crore nett.
