Dell Just Made Premium Laptops Way More Affordable for Indian Consumers — Here’s What’s New

Big tech doesn’t always mean big price tags anymore. Dell Technologies has expanded its consumer lineup in India, bringing the iconic XPS 13, refreshed Dell 14S and 16S, and a more accessible Alienware 15 to shelves — spanning students, professionals, and gamers alike.

What Dell Is Launching?

The lineup marks Dell’s most comprehensive consumer portfolio yet, covering thin-and-light laptops, AI-powered productivity machines, and high-performance gaming devices. As Chris Cowger, senior VP at Dell Technologies, put it, the goal is delivering the right technology at every price point for India’s fast-growing digital consumer base.

Dell : Overview

The New XPS 13 — Thin, Light, No Compromise

Billed as the thinnest and lightest XPS ever built, the new XPS 13 weighs just 1kg with 12.7mm razor-thin edges and up to 17 hours of streaming battery life. It runs on Intel Core Series 3 or Core Ultra Series 3 processors with up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory, paired with a 2.5K InfinityEdge touch display offering 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and up to 500 nits brightness. It’s also ENERGY STAR certified and EPEAT Gold registered.

Dell 14S and 16S — Everyday AI Power

These models bring Copilot+ PC capabilities to daily computing, powered by Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors with up to 50 TOPS NPU. The Dell 16S with Intel Core Ultra X7 358H reportedly delivers 55% higher graphics performance than the previous generation, while both models keep a slim 15.3mm metal build.

Alienware 15 — Gaming Within Reach

Alienware’s latest configuration brings Intel Core 7 (Series 2) 240H processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics to a wider price tier. It features a 15.3-inch WUXGA display at 165Hz, tested for spill resistance up to 60ml and drops up to 18 inches. Dell is also rolling this out through Dellstore.com, Dell Exclusive Stores, and retail partners across 400 cities, with a strong push into tier-II and tier-III markets.
