Dell Brings AI Workstation Power to the Desk With Pro Precision & Pro Max

The AI lab is no longer just for big enterprises with deep pockets. At GTC 2026, Dell Technologies announced a sweeping refresh of its Pro Precision workstation lineup alongside the Dell Pro Max with GB10 and GB300 — bringing datacenter-class AI compute right to your desk, without a cloud subscription, without token metering, and without sending your data anywhere.

Dell Pro Precision & Pro Max: Key Highlights

Why This Matters: AI Compute at the Desk Changes Everything

Dell is making a clear argument — AI momentum slows when compute is distant. The new Pro Precision 9 T6 is the world’s most scalable tower workstation, supporting up to 15 PCIe slots and 5× 300W RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs.

But the real headline is the Dell Pro Max with GB300 — Dell is the first OEM to ship a desktop with the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip, paired with a custom-designed MaxCool thermal solution that delivers up to 5x higher cooling efficiency over reference designs, dedicating more power to performance rather than heat management.

With NVIDIA NemoClaw and OpenShell runtimes, the Pro Max systems enable autonomous AI agents that can run for hours or days entirely locally — sensitive data stays on-device, control stays with the developer, and the cloud becomes genuinely optional.

For teams in federal or air-gapped environments, Dell is also preparing a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth-free, no-telemetry variant of the Pro Max with GB10. The Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA ties it all together — offering a clear, consistent path from local prototype to enterprise-scale deployment.
