Have you been looking for a thin & light laptop that will fit well within your pocket and comes with modern features like a 100% sRGB color display or Type-C charging? The old yet capable realme Book Slim has now been on sale via realme’s site for a mouth-watering price of ₹37,999.

Realme Book Slim will be another MacBook Air clone?

Originally, launched at ₹44,999, this is a massive ₹7k discount to make it into the budget laptop segment while still coming with metal body chassis, 2K Full Vision IPS display with a peak brightness of 400 nits, Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 4. Its key USP is its slim body and is also one of the lightest laptops in India with a thickness of 14.9mm.

The realme Book Slim is powered by up to 11th Gen Intel Core i5 Chipsets coupled with Iris XE integrated Graphics, so even though realme had dubbed it to be exclusively for productivity purposes, it appears the laptop can handle a bit of gaming as well. The device has Wi-Fi 6 technology for connectivity and gets up to 512GB SSD storage and 8GB of RAM.

Also, if you are fed up with travelling with huge adapter bricks then you will be glad to know that the realme Book Slim uses a Thunderbolt 4 port to charge the battery, the 65W charger provides up to 50% of charge in just 30 minutes. realme claims that the laptop has a battery life of 11 hours but even if it gives 5-6 hours of actual usage that would be more than enough for most users.

The laptop has two Harman Kardon speakers that support DTS Audio, for safety purposes, the laptop has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button. Now, on sale, this realme Book Slim laptop starts at ₹37,999 and at that price this laptop makes sense with some really premium features its a must for students, or for doing basic work.
