Two Very Different Daredevils
In the animated Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Daredevil takes on a bigger, more experienced mentor role opposite Gwen Stacy’s Ghost-Spider and a returning Finesse, as teased in the Season 2 trailer shown at D23. Meanwhile, live-action Matt Murdock starts Born Again Season 3 behind bars after publicly revealing his identity — surrounded by criminals he once helped convict. Showrunner Dario Scardapane confirmed the season pulls from Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark’s acclaimed comic run, and it will finally reunite the Defenders for the first time since 2017.
Could He Show Up Again in 2027?
Rumors continue to swirl about a possible Daredevil cameo in Avengers: Secret Wars, though Cox has publicly denied it. Given Marvel’s track record of “surprise” reveals (see: Andrew Garfield, Dafne Keen), fans aren’t taking the denial at face value.
