BamBam, TEN, Young Miko, and More Are Heading to Tokyo — Crunchyroll’s 2026 Anime Awards Just Got Even Bigger

The tenth annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards is shaping up to be the most globally star-powered edition yet. Crunchyroll has just announced a fresh wave of celebrity presenters heading to Tokyo on May 23, 2026 — and the lineup reads like a K-pop and music fan’s dream crossed with an anime lover’s wishlist.

Crunchyroll’s Newly Announced Presenters

Who’s Coming to the Anime Awards?

These four global artists join a presenter lineup that already includes The Weeknd, Rashmika Mandanna, RZA, Winston Duke, Asuka Saito, and more — a testament to just how deeply anime has woven itself into mainstream global culture.

BamBam, the Thai-born rapper best known as a member of iconic K-pop group GOT7, has been building a bold solo career since 2021, showcasing a vocal range that his group days never fully spotlighted.

Ethan Bortnick brings a completely different energy — a contemporary musician blending classical piano roots with a modern pop sensibility. His singles “cut my fingers off” and “engravings” have racked up over 135 million Spotify streams, and he’s currently on a mission to bring classical music to mainstream audiences in a way that’s never been done before.

TEN, Thai singer and dancer and a member of both NCT and WayV, made his solo debut in 2024 with “Nightwalker” before his 2025 EP Stunner topped iTunes Albums charts in 19 countries and earned a spot on Billboard’s best K-pop songs of the year list.

Young Miko, the GRAMMY-nominated recording artist from Puerto Rico, rounds out the group with serious global presence — over 20 million monthly Spotify listeners and 21 million social media followers built entirely on her genre-defying sound and magnetic stage persona.
