Crunchyroll New Titles — What to Expect

Always a Catch! — April 1 (TROYCA)

Meet Maria “Mimi” Annovazzi — a martial arts prodigy from a legendary ducal family who loses her inheritance and gets publicly dumped by a prince she’s never even met over an engagement she didn’t know existed. Humiliated and out of options, she transfers to a neighboring kingdom to start over. Equal parts comedy and fantasy romance, this one screams binge-worthy from episode one. If you love strong-willed heroines in chaotic noble settings, Always a Catch! is your April 1 must-watch.

Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ — April 2 (Studio Comet)

This is the show for anyone who’s ever looked back at high school and thought “I wish I could do that over.” Natsuki Haibara wakes up as a high school freshman again — but with all the wisdom from his college years intact. He joins the popular crowd, chases his crush, and tries to live the youth he always regretted missing. The catch? Second chances are never as clean as they sound. A warm, nostalgic slice-of-life with a time-loop twist.

RILAKKUMA — April 3 (Production I.G)

Everyone’s favourite lazy bear is back. Produced by the legendary Production I.G, this new RILAKKUMA series celebrates the simple, stress-free life through the eyes of the most unbothered bear in anime history. Perfect comfort viewing — no stakes, no drama, just pure wholesome energy.

My Ribdiculous Reincarnation — April 7 (Qzil.la & S.o.K)

What if you could be reincarnated as literally anything — and you just kept picking the most ridiculous options? That’s the entire premise, and honestly it sounds like a riot. A Crunchyroll exclusive that leans fully into absurdist isekai comedy. If you’ve been craving something that doesn’t take itself seriously at all, this is your pick.

Pardon the Intrusion, I’m Home! — April 7 (Tatsunoko Production)

Rinko, a 24-year-old office worker and secret otaku, suddenly finds her apartment wall connected to two neighbouring rooms — one housing an overly sweet mystery guy, the other a sharp-tempered one she feels she recognises. Her sanctuary is gone overnight. This cozy, romance-laced slice-of-life is giving strong neighbours-to-lovers energy, and fans of the genre are already excited.

The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch — April 12 (LIDENFILMS)

Spica Virgo dreams of attending a magical academy despite having zero magical ability. Her unlikely saviour? A powerful mage cursed into the form of a black cat, who agrees to teach her in exchange for help breaking the spell. A charming magical academy story with a reverse-mentor dynamic that feels genuinely fresh. Produced by LIDENFILMS, known for delivering solid anime adaptations.
