CIA Season 1 Finale Is Coming — Here’s Everything You Need to Know About Episode 10’s Release Date, Time, and What to Expect

CIA is an American police procedural series created by Dick Wolf, David Hudgins, Nicole Perlman, David Chasteen, and Warren Leight that premiered on CBS on February 23, 2026. It is a spin-off from the FBI television franchise — itself one of the most successful procedural brands on American television. Wikipedia

The show stars Tom Ellis as a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer, paired with a by-the-book, seasoned FBI agent who believes in the rule of law. When the odd couple are assigned to work out of CIA’s New York Station, they must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil. Good news for fans already invested: in March 2026, CBS renewed the series for a second season. FandomWikipedia

When Is CIA Season 1 Episode 10 Released?

CIA season 1 episode 10 will premiere on May 4, 2026, exclusively on CBS at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PT. It is the season finale, wrapping up the show’s initial 10-episode run. You can also catch it next day on Paramount+.

What Happened in Episode 9? (Quick Recap)

In episode 9, the CIA team dealt with a case involving a leak from a Turkish family connected to Syria. The mole search intensified, with Bill suspecting Colin because of a connection to a group called “the Pyramid.”

It is revealed in episode 9 that Colin is also trying to uncover the truth about the mole in his own way. Colin stayed calm and did everything he could to help solve the matter — bringing an entirely new dimension to the whole scenario. By the end of the episode, the case was resolved, but the mole investigation remained open, with attention beginning to shift toward other possible suspects within the agency.

What to Expect in Episode 10 — The Season Finale

Episode 10 will likely continue the mole investigation and may bring new developments around the killing of a foreign diplomat who entered the United States under mysterious circumstances. Bill and Colin will likely have to uncover what role a disruptive mineral plays in threatening global stability.

Episode 10 is expected to bring viewers closer to the true identity of the mole inside the agency — the central serialised mystery that has been building all season. Will it be someone viewers least expect? The finale promises to answer that.

Tom Ellis has pointed out that to keep viewers eager for each new episode, “the characters need a dynamic” — which Bill and Colin have through their opposing personalities, serving as the anchor of the show.
