ChuChuTV Joins Netflix: The 60-Billion-View Kids’ Sensation Gets a New Home

Millions of toddlers already know the tunes by heart. Now, ChuChuTV — one of the biggest kids’ edutainment channels on the planet — is officially making its way to Netflix, joining the growing wave of YouTube giants finding a second home on streaming.

The Big Announcement

Netflix confirmed that four ChuChuTV collections will launch globally on August 6, 2026. Originating in India, ChuChuTV has grown into a global phenomenon, with its flagship channel boasting nearly 100 million subscribers and over 60 billion views across more than 1,000 videos — making it the 21st biggest YouTube channel in the world.

What’s Coming to Netflix

The four collections cover different corners of ChuChuTV’s catalog: Nursery Rhymes (the classic sing-along content that built its audience), Drawing with ChuChu (creativity and shape recognition for preschoolers), Colors in FunZone (color-learning adventures), and Surprise Eggs (ChuChu’s spin on the popular unboxing format blended with early learning).

Part of a Bigger Trend

This move fits into Netflix’s broader strategy of licensing top-performing YouTube creators, particularly in the kids and family space — a category YouTube itself, the world’s largest video-sharing platform, has long dominated. Recent additions include UK edutainment favorite Steve and Maggie and the live-action series Danny Go!, alongside major names like Ms. Rachel and Mark Rober. The most notable precedent remains CoComelon, which became a cornerstone of Netflix’s preschool lineup and even spawned its own Netflix Original spin-off.

Whether ChuChuTV can replicate that level of streaming success remains to be seen, but its massive built-in audience gives it a strong head start.
