Champagne, Chaos, and a Body: Flex X Cop 2 Sends Jin Yi Soo to Solve a Murder at a Five-Star Hotel

A chaebol detective and his no-nonsense boss just walked into their most glamorous crime scene yet. “Flex x Cop 2” has released new stills teasing a scandalous murder investigation set inside a luxurious five-star hotel — and things get messy fast.

Ahn Bo Hyun reprises his role as Jin Yi Soo, the wealth-flexing chaebol-turned-detective, while Jung Eun Chae joins as Joo Hye Ra, his no-nonsense new team leader. Their next case drops them straight into a hotel murder tied to a White Day affair gone very wrong.

What Happens in the New Episode

The stills show Joo Hye Ra examining a hotel employee’s body found in a guest’s room, clearly rattled by what she’s uncovered. As the investigation deepens, the pair crosses paths with a suspicious guest — Kang Choon Sik (Lee Seok), the son of a major food company owner, who turns out to be an old acquaintance of Jin Yi Soo’s from the chaebol social circuit.

Dressed in pajamas and a matching sleep mask, Kang Choon Sik greets the detectives like old friends, calling Jin Yi Soo “hyung.” But familiarity doesn’t buy him a pass — Jin Yi Soo makes it clear he’s not going easy on a suspect, connections or not.
