The Road to Victory

India’s journey to this World Cup win has been nothing short of dramatic. Overcoming delays caused by Hurricane Beryl in Barbados, the team finally lifted the trophy after a nail-biting final against South Africa. This victory ends a 13 year wait since their last World Cup win, making this celebration even more special.

The last time India saw a victory parade of this magnitude was in 2007 after winning the inaugural T20 World Cup. This parade not only celebrates the current team’s success but also pays homage to a new generation of cricketers who continue to make the nation proud.
