j-hope’s Big Dream

During a conversation on Finding Kani, j-hope was asked about his dream stage. He responded without hesitation, naming the Super Bowl as a goal he hopes to achieve someday, saying “It’s good to dream big, the Super Bowl.”

The host enthusiastically backed him, playfully urging NFL organisers to make it happen — and j-hope smiled, saying it felt like she was voicing exactly what he was thinking. The NFL and Roc Nation, which handles halftime show bookings, have already shown openness to non-English acts, with Bad Bunny delivering a massive success at the 2026 halftime show. The Jungkook Story That Broke ARMY’s Heart

It was recently revealed that Jungkook had been invited to perform alongside Usher at Super Bowl LVIII, but had to decline due to his military enlistment beginning December 12, 2023. Had he performed, it would have marked the first-ever K-pop appearance at the Super Bowl. NBC News

Fans were particularly hurt because Jungkook could have potentially deferred his service under South Korea’s revised Military Service Act, which allows exceptional artists to delay enlistment. Critics pointed fingers at HYBE for not facilitating the opportunity. NBC News The label’s response to the backlash was famously terse — just five words: “We have nothing to say.”

BTS Is Back — Bigger Than Ever

All seven members — RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — performed together for the first time in nearly four years at a massive free concert in Seoul, drawing up to 260,000 fans — the largest public concert ever held in South Korea.

Their Arirang World Tour kicks off April 9, 2026 in South Korea, covering 82 concerts across 34 cities through Asia, North America, and Latin America. Variety

With Super Bowl 61 in February 2027 still without a confirmed performer, the dream might not be far off. Collider
