Honor 20i smartphone was launched in June 2019 and Flipkart just revealed the price of this device with the other two Honor 20 series. This is the cheapest smartphone in the series and can be an affordable mid-range triple rear camera smartphone.

Details :

The phone comes with a 6.21-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

Honor 20i is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core Kirin 710F processor that features 4 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It comes with 4GB of RAM.

The Honor 20i runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by a 3,400mAh battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Honor 20i on the rear packs a 24-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera and a third 2-megapixel camera. The rear camera setup has phase detection autofocus. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

The Honor 20i runs EMUI 9.0.1 based on Android 9 Pie and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB). The Honor 20i is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.

Connectivity options on the Honor 20i include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v4.20, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, and fingerprint sensor.

The Honor 20i measures 154.80 x 73.64 x 7.95mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 164.00 grams. It was launched in Gradient Blue, Gradient Red, and Magic Night Black colours.

The pricing of the mid-ranged ones might be a bit confusing but overall this is a pretty good laptop series. The cheapest one might be a little sloppy with just 4GB of RAM and a dual core processor so better add another RAM stick if you are intending to buy that model.

Honestly, this aggressive approach of bringing thin and light laptops at modest pricing is quite a commendable job by ASUS. So, if you are looking to buy a thin and light laptop do check both the series.

Manchester United have signed Daniel James from Swansea City

Manchester United have completed the signing of Wales winger Daniel James on an initial five-year deal from Swansea City for around £15m.

Wales winger, Daniel James has now officially joined Manchester United after the two clubs agreed on a deal of about £15m initially, last week. He has joined from Swansea City on a five-year deal, with an option to extend a year further.

Swansea academy graduate James scored five goals in 38 appearances during a breakthrough 2018-19 season. He is now officially Manchester United’s first signing of the summer of 2019.

USWNT has created a new record in the World Cup

The United States thrashed Thailand 13-0 on Tuesday, which is now the biggest victory in the World Cup.

The USWNT sent a message to their 2019 Women’s World Cup rivals with an unbelievable 13-0 victory over Thailand. United States began their Women’s World Cup defence in style. The reigning champions had to wait five days to start their campaign but produced an ominous performance that doubled as the biggest win in tournament history, surpassing Germany’s 11-0 trouncing of Argentina in 2007.

Alex Morgan scored 5 goals, Rose Lavelle and Sam Mewis scored 2 goals each and a goal apiece from Lindsey Horan, Megan Rapinoe, Mallory Pugh and Carli Lloyd gave the reigning world champions an emphatic, record-breaking victory in Reims. Morgan took her goal tally at the international level to 106 goals. They are now on top of Group F on goal difference.

It was Alex Morgan who bagged the record-breaking strike when she fired home left-footed to make it 12-0, surpassing Germany’s 11-0 thrashing of Argentina in 2007. Morgan was the Man of the Match for the United States. The favourite for the Golden Boot started as she means to go on with five very well taken goals. She’s gonna take some stopping in France.

The United States’ 13-0 win is the largest margin of victory ever at a World Cup finals ( both men’s and women’s).
Alex Morgan tied the Women’s World Cup record with five goals. She also had three assists to make it eight goal involvements, the most by any player since 2011. Only three other players have had three or more goals and one or more assists in a Women’s World Cup match.
The United States took 40 shots against Thailand, 20 of which were on target. Both are Women’s World Cup records.
Morgan joined Carli Lloyd, Carin Jennings and Michelle Akers as the only Americans to record a hat trick in the WWC.
Lloyd and Morgan now each have eight goals in the Women’s World Cup, tied for the third-most ever by an American.
There were just six minutes between the USA’s 4th and 7th goals against Thailand (50, 53, 54, 56), the fastest four-goal burst to have been scored in a single Women’s World Cup match in the competition’s history.

Rose Lavelle (24 years, 28 days) and Lindsey Horan (25 years, 16 days) are the third- and fourth-youngest Americans, respectively, to record braces in a Women’s World Cup match.
Mallory Pugh (21 years, 1 month, 13 days) is now the third-youngest goalscorer in a Women’s World Cup match for the USA.
Megan Rapinoe (33 years, 341 days) is now the third-oldest American goalscorer in WWC history, behind Abby Wambach (35 years, 15 days) and Kristine Lilly (36 years, 62 days).
Rapinoe also tallied two assists, giving her six in Women’s World Cup play, tied with Japan’s Aya Miyama for the most in tournament history.
Samantha Mewis’ first goal was the 800th goal scored in FIFA Women’s World Cup matches, with USA responsible for 116 of them — more than any other team.
The US became the first team in Women’s World Cup history to have three different players record a brace in the same match.
The US has now had 32 different players (excluding own goals) score for them at the Women’s World Cup, making the US the second nation to have that many different scorers in the competition’s history after Germany (34).

The Galaxy M40 runs Android Pie coupled with Samsung’s OneUI interface. Other extras include Dolby Atmos support, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. Unfortunately, the headphone jack is missing on the list.

If this all sounds familiar it’s because we’ve already seen the phone. It was previously announced in China as the Galaxy A60, but it appears Samsung will be bringing it to international markets as part of the M series.

Price and Availability :

The Samsung Galaxy M40 will be available in Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue colors. Pricing starts at Rs.19,990 ($288) and the phone will be available across all the popular online retailers in India including Amazon, Flipkart, and Pricebaba starting June 18. Availability and pricing for other markets haven’t been detailed at this point.

Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the 2019 Cricket World Cup for 3 weeks with a fractured thumb. He had been hit on his left thumb during India’s match against defending champions Australia at The Oval on Sunday.

Dhawan had sustained the injury on Sunday but went on to score a match-winning 117 against Australia. He had gone for a scan on Monday and the report reveals he has a hairline fracture.

At the E3 2019, AMD launches their most anticipated 7nm Navi GPUs, the Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT starting at $379

Finally, at E3 2019, AMD breaks the deadlock and introduces the gamers with next-generation GPUs. Yes, the 7nm based Navi GPUs are now out and will be available from 7th of July 2019.

Navi GPUs are based on AMD’s new RDNA architecture that leverages new graphical features and enhances the overall graphics performance.

Radeon RX 5700 XT – the RTX 2070 killer

This new 7nm based GPU is the direct competitor to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 and it is priced lower than it, at just $449.

It has 9.75 TFLOPs of raw computing power, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, 40 compute units along with 2560 stream processors.

It has a 1605MHz base clock speed, boost clock up to 1905MHz. Also, there’s a special gaming clock speed of 1755MHz.

When the GPU is tested out on modern triple-A gaming titles against the RTX 2070, the RX 5700 XT nearly beats its competitor in every game while testing out at 1440p ultra settings.

Radeon RX 5700 – the RTX 2060 killer

Another family member to this GPU lineup is the RX 5700 which is also based on 7nm based RDNA architecture. This is a slightly downgraded version of RX 5700 XT and is priced at $379, it will go head to head against the likes of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060.

This RX 5700 features 7.95 TFLOPs of raw computing power, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, 36 compute units along with 2304 stream processors.

It has a 1465MHz base clock speed, boost clock up to 1725MHz. Also, there’s a special gaming clock speed of 1625MHz.

When this GPU was put into a test against the RTX 2060 in popular esports title – Apex Legend, it fairly beat its competitor by a healthy margin.

Also comparing the performance in all triple-A gaming titles at 1440p Ultra settings resulted in the RX 5700 as the clear winner.

These new GPUs have been designed very carefully and the low power consumption along with proper optimizations will help deliver superior performance.

Also, these cards will support PCIe 4.0, currently supported only on X570 motherboards coupled with Ryzen 3000 processors. Both these cards will go on sale from July 7th onwards.

Cricket legend Yuvraj Singh on Monday confirmed that he would no longer be a part of the Indian Premier League as a player.

Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from international cricket in a press conference in Mumbai and also confirmed that IPL 2019 was his last as a player.

Yuvraj got emotional during the press conference and stated that he would have liked more opportunities to play in IPL 2019 and bow out on a high but that did not happen as he played only 4 matches for Mumbai Indians, his final IPL franchise, scoring 98 runs at an average of 24.50 including a half-century. Mumbai Indians won their fourth IPL title this season after beating Chennai Super Kings in the final last month.

The 37-year-old Yuvraj Singh last represented India in June 2017 and retires with 8701 runs from 304 ODIs at 36.55 with 14 hundreds and 52 fifties.

Yuvraj played 40 Tests in which he scored 1900 runs at 33.92 with three centuries while in 58 T20Is he amassed 1177 runs at 28.02 with 8 half-centuries.

“My career started in 2000 and it has been 19 years. I was confused with my career and how I would end it. I would have been satisfied if I could have played more games in IPL 2019 would have been happy to leave the sport with that. But you don’t get everything in life. I had decided last year that this IPL would be my last and I’ll give it my best shot,” Yuvraj Singh said in the press conference.

Yuvraj last played for India in an ODI vs West Indies on June 30, 2017

Winning the player of the tournament awards in the 2007 World T20 and 50-over 2011 World Cup remain the greatest achievements in the career of Yuvraj Singh.

Yuvraj said he would like to play other domestic T20 tournaments if BCCI gives him the approval.
