Valverde and Courtois: The heroes of Real Madrid’s Supercopa triumph

Federico Valverde won the MVP while Thibaut Courtois produced a world-class performance as Zidane continues his perfect record in the finals.

Real Madrid have beaten Atletico Madrid by 4-1 in penalties on Sunday at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. They won their 11th Supercopa de Espana trophy when Ramos tucked home the winning penalty.

Zidane has now won one LaLiga, three Champions Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, two FIFA Club World Cup and two Supercopa de Espana titles across his two stints in Madrid. He has been in charge of Real Madrid in 9 finals and has won all of them. That’s some record for taking!

The most important play of the match came in the 115th minute during the second half of extra-time. Real Madrid had a freekick inside Atletico’s half. But Atletico was quick to defend and then go for a counter-attack.

Alvaro Morato found himself through on goal as he found just Courtois between him and the goal. Madrid midfielder Valverde attempted for a last-minute match-saving tactical foul on Morato outside the penalty box. He was sent off for hacking down Alvaro Morata and denying a goalscoring opportunity.

The match went to extra time where Courtois proved to be the hero. But it was Valverde’s quick thinking and his unselfish red card for the team which took the match to the penalties. He was named as the MVP of the Supercopa de Espana final.

Zidane said: “He [Valverde] was given the man of the match and I’m happy for him because he did a great job. I’m sure that he wants to share it with his team-mates.
He did what he had to do, he made a crude foul but he did it well. And in the end, the important thing is that he’s apologised to Alvaro.”

Simeone said: “The MVP award for Fede Valverde was for the red card because he won the game. The most important play of the game was this action of Valverde. That play deprived us of a chance to score a goal that would probably decide the game.
It was the most important play and I told him not to worry, that anyone would do the same in that position. I would do it.”

Valverde told the media: “I apologise to Alvaro Morata. I know it’s not good what I did, but I didn’t have any other option.”

He further added: “I’m very happy. It’s something you train for, you work for, you fight for, to have good results. Things are working out well. I’m getting minutes on the pitch, playing, the team is winning. It’s fantastic. I’m enjoying every minute of my life, an amazing time.

“As well as winning titles with the team, I am also going to become a father. So many positive things are happening and I’m trying my best to enjoy them.”

Real Madrid goalkeeper Courtois saved Thomas Partey’s penalty to give Madrid an added advantage after Saul missed the first penalty for Atletico Madrid. Kieran Tripper scored the only goal for Atletico while Carvajal, Rodrygo, Modric and Ramos all converted from the spot for Madrid.

Real Madrid president Perez heaped praise on Courtois: “We brought [Courtois] here because we believe that he’s the best goalkeeper in the world, and he has been. He was one of the key players in the victory.”

Courtois said: “I reviewed the penalties on the bench. Saul surprised me a little, but Thomas I knew clearly. He shot it very hard and very strong.
I am very happy for another zero goals conceded and with good stops. This is very important.”

“We are very happy. It was a hard-fought match against Atletico. Their style of play is waiting for an error from the other team. They could have taken advantage of that a few times. I managed to save some, Fede stopped one.
I think I could stop Alvaro by coming out, but he got away and Fede made the tackle. We took advantage of that well and we were the more confident team in the penalty shootout.”

Zidane left Madrid in 2018 after winning 3 Champions League trophies in a row. But Real Madrid hit rock bottom after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane before the start of last season.

Real Madrid appointed Julen Lopetegui who failed and was replaced by Santiago Solari. Solari also had the same fate and was sacked.

Zidane then returned to Real Madrid during the last stage of last season for a second stint with the club. He has now won the first trophy in his second stint as Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid by 4-1 in penalties on Sunday at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah. “At half-time, we didn’t know how to get closer to the goal, but we had patience. We believed until the end, like always. Winning a trophy is never easy and even less so against Atletico. Both teams had chances.”

“We’re still in lots of competitions. We have to be happy, but there’s still lots to come. We have to keep working. We’ll rest a bit and play again, as we can’t think about dropping [our level].”

“Now, we’re going to enjoy ourselves, but there’s still a long way to go in LaLiga Santander, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.”

OnePlus was teasing the OnePlus concept one smartphone from the beginning of this month. This time the Chinese giant has made its way to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 for the first time this year – that too with its first-ever concept phone in tow. The device is a product of brilliant design and engineering.

The main attraction of the OnePlus Concept One device is that it features a magical glass placed on the camera at the back. At the end of the video, we can see how the glass becomes clear and opaque magically. This technology is called electrochromic glass tech, where the glass becomes opaque and clear with the click of a button. In this device, the camera glass can change transparency, that too within a mere 0.7 seconds, and appear invisible when you are not using it – to give the smartphone a cleaner look.

How to recover your lost photo safely

Recovering deleted files can be very difficult, but sometimes it can be crucial to recovering the
deleted files. Not all data recovery software is as good when it comes to recovering permanently deleted files as some of them claim to recover files that are far gone, but EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard is the best data recovery software (programa de recuperação de dados) we came across.

It can recover files deleted accidentally due to the virus, hard disk failure or software failure.
After deleting, files go to the recycle bin and even if you delete them from the recycle bin,
they are not permanently deleted, their paths are just made non-accessible, space used by these files is made available for other files when required.

Binary files remain on the system for a long time, until they are overwritten by some other files. These files might stay in the system for years, if not overwritten. But these files can be recovered in some cases, data recovery software like EaseUs can recover files like audio, video, photos, emails, text files, etc.

How to recover your lost photo safely

Using EaseUS

To get started with EaseUs data recovery wizard, I copied a .BIN file to my computer, and deleted it from the hard disk and also emptied the recycle bin. I used EaseUS to scan and recover the file.

To my surprise, it recovered the complete file in working condition, whereas other data recovery software I used was only able to recover fragments of it, and the file was corrupted.
Then I tried to do a deep scan and it was able to recover old files, which I had long forgotten.

And the best thing is, that while it deep scans the system, it lets you preview the files that are already found by it, which is really great addition to all the features it has. While the other software makes you wait till the scan is complete.

I also went ahead and scanned my 5 TB hard disk, It showed that it was going to take 9
hours for the complete scan. If it was some other software I would not have been able to preview the files that it had recovered and I would have to wait so long, but it was very convenient with this software as I was able to recover the required files while the scan was going on. 

The photo recovery (recuperador de fotos) was also very good as I was able to recover all the photos without being corrupted and the best thing is that I could preview the photos while
scanning.

How to recover your lost photo safely

It also lets you set a filter while scanning to search only for a specific file type, and date ranges, which can save you a lot of time if you know what you are looking for. 

Not all files are fully recoverable, you will know from the preview panel whether the files are recoverable or not. Most of the times it will get the job done, but still, the best of the best data recovery software can disappoint you in some rare cases when the files are completely damaged and are replaced by some other file.

If you want to recover more than 2 GB data or need tech support you can go for Pro version,

The current coach of Al Sadd Xavi Hernandez will not replace Ernesto Valverde in mid-season as Barcelona wisher for.

Xavi wanted to postpone his decision a few more days, but Barcelona’s representatives insisted he give them an answer before they flew back to the Catalan capital this Sunday. As such, the Blaugrana legend gave a resounding “no”. Although both parties have agreed to keep the communication channels open, with the possibility that he will come on board for next season.

Xavi has shown (as Carles Puyol did a few months ago) that his commitment to Barcelona is so great that he is not willing to come in to cover patches – his goal is to arrive at the club when it has a consolidated and solid project across all levels, from the academy to the first team.

Right now, and as he clarified in Saturday’s press conference after beating Al Rayyan in the semi-finals of the Qatar Cup, the Al Sadd coach is focused on Friday’s final against Al Duhail.

Then there’s the respect he has for current employers Al Sadd, who signed him to a multi-year deal and gave him his first chance in management.

He has a commitment to his current players, too, and they have the Qatari Cup final coming up. Xavi wouldn’t want to leave them in the lurch.

The fifth and final reason is a more complicated one – a ‘moral’ commitment to Victor Font, a candidate in Barcelona’s presidential elections.

Elections are next year when Xavi’s contract with Al Sadd comes to an end. All things considered, perhaps it’ll be next year that he really has his eyes on the job.

Flipkart has launched a new product under its ‘MarQ by Flipkart’ brand

The Falkon Aerbook is a 13-inch Thin and Light laptop powered by Intel, It will be available on Flipkart from January 17, 2020.

Flipkart launched its own laptop under the ‘MarQ by Flipkart’ brand. Called Falkon Aerbook, Flipkart’s new laptop is an Ultra Thin and Light model with a 13.3-inch screen and an Intel 8th Gen Core i5 CPU.

It will be available on Flipkart from January 17 for a starting price of Rs 39,990. It will join the fifteen other product categories Flipkart sells under the MarQ name, including refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners.

The Falkon Aerbook is 16.5 MM in thickness and weighs is about 1.26 KG. Its display is a 13.3-inch FullHD unit. This laptop is currently in the segment which is currently populated by laptops from Apple, Microsoft, Asus, Acer, Lenovo, Dell, and HP. The Aerbook is powered by an Intel 8th Gen Core i5 CPU with 8 GB RAM and a 256GB of solid-state storage, which can be expanded to a maximum of 1 TB thanks to a SSD slot. The laptop also features a full keyboard and a precision touchpad for multi-finger gestures. It also packs a 37 Wh internal battery which will last for 5 hours according to the company.

The Falkon Aerbook is backed by after sales support from Flipkart, which says customers will receive doorstep support for part replacements and technical assistance in addition to 12/7 call centre support from 9am to 9pm. Flipkart is offering doorstep warranty support in 10000+ pincodes.

The Indian e-commerce giant appears to be confident of seeing success in the laptop market even though the Falkon Aerbook is its first ever PC product.

This is the sixteenth category under the MarQ branding and those who have used products of the brands will be easier to convert. However when someone is in the market to buy a laptop and see the Aerbook offering good specs and a Intel Core i5 at this price, they would be tempted to check out this option.

The POCO series is alive…

According to several renders, we came to know that Xiaomi has filed a trademark application for the next POCO device. Most likely we will soon come across more details of the POCO F2, the next device from POCOPHONE and a successor of the POCO F1. POCO F1 was a major hit for a newly formed sub-brand’s first device. Now finally we can see that Xiaomi has filed a trademark application for a new POCOPHONE device, most probably it will be the successor of POCO F1, the POCO F2. We can hope this time also the brand is going to top the chart with the new device. People’s expectation from POCO F2 is very high at this point. To prove the authenticity of the trademark application done by Xiaomi @_the_tech_guy also tweeted this.

POCOPHONE debuted in the smartphone market with the POCO F1 device which then packed the latest Snapdragon 845, and few other high-end specs for a mid-range device. The POCO F1 became a hit due to its performance, processor, battery, liquid cooling, and camera. It was an all-rounder package at that time at a very affordable price.

Previously also Samsung launched their potable SSDs and this too is a sleek one having a compact design with fast transfer speeds based on the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard.

Obviously the unique feature of this product is the new biometric authentication system that secures your data stored in the SSD and can be retrieved by authenticating using the built-in fingerprint sensor. It also features a ‘Motion LED’, which allows the user to determine the status of the device simply with a single glance.
