Xiaomi to bring Mi Laptops & RedmiBooks in India soon

Finally, the leaks of Mi Laptop and RedmiBooks coming to India seems true as today the official Twitter account of Xiaomi India says Hello to the current laptop competitors in India including Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo and ASUS. A smart move indeed to greet your competitors before entering the market.

As this tweet comes from Mi India, most likely, we’ll seeing the premium yet budget friendly Mi Notebooks first step into India and then eventually the cheaper RedmiBook laptops as well.

Another tweet from Manu Kumar Jain, the CEO of Xiaomi clearly shows shut the lid of his laptop and exclaim “IT’S TIME.” This shows the fact what actually he is hinting and doing the #WhatsNextFromMi campaign.

Yes, obviously, Mi fans have been waiting for this since a long long time mostly because of the fact that Mi Notebooks are cheap and perform well with the latest hardware. They have been away from India only because it requires a lot of infrastructure and planning before you land laptops in any country.

Also other Xiaomi staffs have been teasing the fact that laptops from other manufacturers do not give the smooth performance and Mi Notebooks are coming eventually. Then there’s the #WhatsNextFromMi hashtag that confirms the new launch and 𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 !!

So, ultimately, soon Xiaomi will be launching their most anticipated Mi Notebooks in India, personally I am excited for their 13-inch Mi Notebook Air and obviously the 15.6-inch Mi Notebook Pro. Also, you never know Xiaomi may also launch the Mi Gaming Laptops in the near future as well.

Their RedmiBooks laptop series also offer great performance in the budget and their recent Ryzen 4000 powered RedmiBooks are the ones which really Indian fans need.

Next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 to feature ARM’s new Cortex-A78 and Cortex-X1 super core

0

When every premium smartphone is using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SoC, Qualcomm is eyeing for the next generation. The US chipmaker will be using the latest Cortex-A78 and Cortex-X1 super cores in their latest Snapdragon 875 chipset.

Quite expectedly, the Snapdragon 875 will also be a 5G chipset and will come with a “1+3+4” triple cluster architecture which suggests that there will be one super core + three large cores + four energy-efficient cores.

Probably, the configuration will consist 1 x high performance Cortex-X1 core + 3 x Cortex-A78 cores + 4 x energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. The ARM Cortex X1 delivers a 30% higher peak performance than the Cortex-A77 while the new Cortex-A78 CPU provides a 20% sustained performance improvement over Cortex-A77 CPU.

According to MyDrivers, the ARM Cortex-X1 core will appear on Samsung’s 2021 Exynos 1000 chip which will be combined with AMD RDNA GPU that will provide impressive overall performance.

ThisSnapdragon 875 architecture will indeed provide great overall performance for high-end flagship smartphones to take Apple’s upcoming A-series chips based on 5 nm process. Similarly, the Snapdragon 875 will this time be made on 5 nm fabrication process providing better performance and efficiency as well.

Also, the Snapdragon 875 will feature X60 5G modem which is compatible with both mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G networks. The chipset will be the standard one to be used on the Android flagships in 2021 and we can expect it to release in December this year.

ARM launches the new Mali-G78 and Mali-G68 mobile GPUs

2

Apart from launching the Cortex-A78 and Cortex-X1 CPU cores, ARM also unveiled new ARM Mali-G78 GPU for high performance gaming, targeted for next-gen flagship smartphones along with Mali-G68 GPU as well, based on its Valhall architecture.

The new Mali-G78 will bring a 25% improvement in performance device to device in context to its predecessor Mali-G77 GPU, delivering ‘game-changing’ graphics and all-day gaming on mobile and supports up to 24 cores.

Additionally, the power- and energy-efficient Mali-G78 can help extend mobile device battery life, enabling users to enjoy their favourite entertainment experiences even longer on the go. Mali-G78 enables high-quality mobile gaming experiences, with console games now available on mobile.

Mali-G78 also brings a further machine learning (ML) performance boost, helping to enable more complex gaming, video, camera, and security ML features on mobile devices.

On the other hand, the Mali-G78 is a sub-premium tier GPU that supports up to 6 cores and inherits all the latest Mali-G78 features. This will provide high-end like GPU performance at lower costs for mid-range devices, great for mobile gamers who are short on budget.

Interestingly, in the ARM blog, there’s the mention of game developers like Unity & CryEngine which suggests ARM is planning to help these devs to bring their desktop-level gaming experience to mobile using their architecture. Crytek is also planning to bring CryEngine to the Android ecosystem, which is insane for game freaks like me.

The Realme Buds Q launches with 10mm Drivers

Realme, on this Monday, launched its Buds Q along with some other electronics products. The touch of a French designer named Jose Levy made this product a little bit different than its other earpods. Though it looks quite similar to Galaxy Buds. Let’s figure out the reasons why this product is different from others.

Realme-Buds-Q-2_TechnoSports.co.in

As I mentioned at the title, this Buds Q is featured with the 10 mm drivers. It is very much safe from the water and dust splashes because of the IPX4 rating. Also, it is a 119 milliseconds latency rate holder. Needless to say, it is connectable with your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0.

The company says this TWS earbud can provide 20 hours of continuous music playback time in one single charge. In the matter of the charge, the case has 30W fast charging support. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have any wireless charging facility, only the wired charging is available through the micro USB port.

For the ‘Quick Control’ ability, the user can manage to navigate the currently playing music. That means, the user has a smooth touch control over the music play, pause, and skip. The most interesting fact is the buds are weighed 3.6 grams which makes it lighter than an A4 paper. Along with the case, its weight becomes 35.3 grams in total.

The Realme Buds Q is available in three colors i.e. black, white, and yellow with the exchange of CNY 149. Though only in China. There is no news for the Indian release of this one.
