Huawei will open pre-orders for the Honor 8X and 8X Max on September 6 and will start shipping on September 11. The Honor 8X will start at CNY 1,399/€180 for the 4GB/64GB model, CNY 1,599/€200 for a 6GB/64GB model and CNY 1,899/€240 for the range-topping 6GB/128GB.
The Honor 8X Max is on pre-order now, priced CNY 1,499/€190 for the 4GB/64GB version and CNY 1,799/€230 for the 4GB/128GB model. No word yet on the Snapdragon 660-equipped model’s price but it will start selling in October.
Review :
The Honor 8X is a great offering from the brand at the price range. The device will have a 91% screen-to-body ratio and a dedicated card slot for the memory card which can be expanded up to 256GB for more storage access. The device feels great in hands and looks premium for the colours and design.
The Honor 8X Max is a max version of the 8X with only the screen, battery and sound quality max in it. Otherwise, the device has less camera resolution, processor chipset is different. Except all these 8 Max is a decent device with a small notch at the top only for the camera. This gives you the max viewing experience making more space for the screen.

Luka Modric revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo congratulated him after he won the UEFA Player of the Year award.
The Croatia international won the prize ahead of his former Real Madrid teammate Ronaldo and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah last week. Ronaldo refused to attend the presentation at the Champions League group-stage draw in Monaco. After he learnt that he had not won the award.
The Croatian had a stunning season as he helped guide Real Madrid to Champions League glory. He also carried Croatia to the World Cup final. But some believe Ronaldo should have been given the prize. As he netted 15 times as to help Real Madrid lift the European Cup for a record 13 times.
Ronaldo’s sister also aimed a dig at Modric on Instagram by appearing to question the Croatian’s contribution to Real Madrid’s Champions League success last season. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri also described the iconic number seven as being ‘angry’. After he failed to be recognised for his achievements.
But Modric has revealed that Ronaldo was humble in defeat. ‘Cristiano sent me a message. He congratulated me and told me he is happy for me and I deserved it. He also said he can’t wait to meet me again.’ Modric told RTP3 after the game.
‘I am happy to be in another big award final, we’ll see what will happen. I have a good relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo and we’ll have good relationship in the future too. Individual awards are important but I am not obsessed with them.’ Modric added.

The international break has started. And this Thursday marks the start of the much awaited UEFA Nations League.
On Thursday, world champions France help kick off the inaugural UEFA Nations League against Germany, the start of a six days of action that also includes England v Spain and Portugal v Italy.
What is the UEFA Nations League?
This is a brand new tournament of UEFA. It is a new national team competition that replaces friendlies with competitive matches. It allows nations to play against equally ranked teams. The four group winners of the top-ranked League A qualify for the UEFA Nations League finals in June 2019. For the remaining sides, there is promotion and relegation to play for, not to mention a potential route to UEFA EURO 2020.
The idea is to render dull international friendlies a thing of the past. The Football Associations and their players, coaches, fans are bored of watching England/France/Germany take on San Marino and Kosovo. Instead, Uefa want all 55 member nations to take part in one enormous competition. It consists of four leagues (A, B, C, D), which each include four groups (1, 2, 3, 4).
In case the bigger countries aren’t enticed by the idea, their league is decided by their world ranking. And UEFA plan to use this format to eventually entirely get rid of European Championship and World Cup qualifying matches.
How does it work?
The format of the UEFA Nations League features promotion and relegation. The 55 European national teams have been divided into four leagues in accordance with UEFA’s national association coefficient rankings on 11 October 2017.
League A includes the top-ranked sides and League D includes the lowest:
League A
Group A1: Germany, France, Netherlands Group A2: Belgium, Switzerland, Iceland Group A3: Portugal, Italy, Poland Group A4: Spain, England, Croatia
The group winners then contesting the UEFA Nations League Finals (semi-finals, third-place match and final) in June 2019 to become the UEFA Nations League winners. One host country will be appointed in December 2018 from among the finalist teams.
The four teams that finish bottom of their groups will be relegated to League B for the 2020 edition.
The top four ranked teams that do not qualify for UEFA EURO 2020 will enter a play-off in March 2020, with one finals place on offer.
League B
Group B1: Slovakia, Ukraine, Czech Republic Group B2: Russia, Sweden, Turkey Group B3: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Ireland Group B4: Wales, Republic of Ireland, Denmark

The League Phase Draw for the UEFA Nations League took place at the SwissTech Convention Centre in Lausanne on 24 January 2018. The overall UEFA Nations League rankings will determine the composition of the draw pots for the subsequent European Qualifiers. In addition, the UEFA Nations League will provide teams with another chance to qualify for the UEFA EURO final tournament, with four sides qualifying through play-off matches which take place in March 2020.
When will the matches take place?
Matchweeks are below, though teams in Leagues A and B only play on four of them – they have friendlies on the other dates.

Where does UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying fit in?
EURO qualifying initially remains largely the same, at least until the play-off round. Previously contested by teams finishing third in their group, now that stage will involve the 16 UEFA Nations League group winners (or, if they have already qualified, the next best ranked team in their league)
Each League has a path of its own, and will consist of two single-leg semi-finals and a one-off final. The winner of each path wins a ticket to UEFA EURO 2020!

The Mix series so far was focused on full-screen display with a chin in it. On that chin, there was placed the front camera, but now in the Mix 3, they are going to change the design. This design has a pure full view display in it with a sliding front camera.

Huawei own sub-brand Honor launches its latest budget smartphone Honor 7S. It is priced at Rs 6,999 ($98) and will be available exclusively through Flipkart starting from Friday September 14, at 12:00PM IST.
Specifications:
Honor 7S features a 5.45″ inch Full View display with a resolution of 1440×720. Weighs aroound 142 gm in hand and is nearly 5.7″ inches tall. Powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC with four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
On the back of the Honor 7S there is a 13MP camera with Phase Detection Autofocus, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front, it has a 5MP selfie camera with a soft flash, f/2.2 aperture lens. The front facing flash can be adjusted into seven levels. The phone also has the capability to use face unlock.
The phone is packed with a 3,020mAh battery. Honor claims that it will provide around 10 hours of 4G internet usage. Connectivity options include 4GLTE, Micro USB, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. The phone comes with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box with EMUI skin on top.
The device was previously launched in China and Pakistan as Honor Play 7. The difference between the two variants is that the Honor Play 7 comes with a 24MP front facing camera whereas 7s comes with a 13MP camera.
The Honor 7S will be available in three colors, blue, black and gold.
On September 4, which was yesterday Honor 7s officially made it’s debut in India.
