A mid-range OnePlus is in works with Snapdragon 662/665 and around Rs.18,000 for India

There is great news for mid-range smartphone lovers, as Oneplus maybe introduce their new mid-range smartphone. Previously OnePlus has launched its flagship models only, but OnePlus Nord was launched last month, with a price tag of Rs. 24,999, which was the first mid-range phone of OnePlus. Leak news reveals that OnePlus is working with a new smartphone that may be priced under Rs. 18,000. After the successful launching of OnePlus Nord, OnePlus had said that they look to introduce many more affordable smartphones, but a launch so quickly was not predicted.

According to the source, the new upcoming phone may be launched at the end of September. The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC or Snapdragon 665 SoC processor. This new phone is reported to be even cheaper than OnePlus Nord and be priced at around Rs. 16,000 to 18,000 in India. The other specifications of this upcoming phone are not known yet.

A reliable leakster named @Boby25846908 on Twitter, reveals that the phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 SoC or 662 SoC. Snapdragon 662 SoC was launched in January of this running year. This processor was first seen in the newly launched Moto G9.

The tipster, also reported that this new affordable handset of OnePlus will compete with an OPPO smartphone that is expected to launch early September. The phone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC should be priced under 20,000.

If the leak is true, OnePlus is truly focused to modify its smartphone portfolio. According to the rumor, this midrange device by OnePlus may be aimed to offer more competition to brands like Xiaomi, Realme, and OPPO.

Other specifications of this handset like storage, camera, battery life, screen size are still not known yet, but if the phone will launch in September then we will get to know all those specifications soon. Of course, all of this is speculation and we recommend you please take this news lightly till OnePlus announces officially. Earlier this month, an OnePlus model codename ‘cover’ is disclosed by Greekbench sporting the Snapdragon 660 SoC. OnePlus confirmed that they will launch another Nord model in the US.

After Unacademy, CRED also signs as the official sponsor of IPL 2020

After getting Dream11 as the title sponsor, a couple of days ago, the renowned ed-tech company also signed as one of two official sponsors of IPL 2020. Now BCCI gets CRED as their second official sponsor of this year’s IPL. CRED is a very renowned Credit Card payment company has been signed as the official partner for the IPL 2020. Now this year’s IPL is all set and filled up with all three partnerships.

“We are extremely pleased that we have filled 2 official partnership slots. This clearly shows the inherent strength of brand IPL. Our only deficit this year will be on account of Title Sponsorship which we lost out due to unfortunate and unprecedented circumstances” declared by the BCCI official.

As per estimates, BCCI will earn Rs 120 crores from three partnership slots filled by Tata Motors, Unacademy, and CRED. The entry of Reliance Jio in the Indian telecom market brings a huge change. Its most affordable data offerings along with the unlimited calling facility forced other operators to reduce their charges so that a competitive market can be maintained. The ultimate result is currently in front of you. In India, the charges for 1GB data is the lowest in the world.

A UK-based firm cable.co.uk recently analyzes around 5,554 data plans across 228 countries, in between 3rd February to 25th February, to get the average cost of 1GB data. The firm concluded in the end, India is the one at the top where the data plans are the cheapest among 228 countries around the globe.

The analysis says the average cost of 1GB data in India is $0.09. As per TOI’s report, this rate is nearly 65% less than the $0.3/GB in 2018.

Dan Howdle, the consumer telecom analyst of cable.co.uk said to TOI, “As a country whose young population has a particularly high technological awareness, India offers a vibrant smartphone market, with strong adoption and many competitors. Data, therefore, is quite staggeringly cheap,“

As per the analysis of cable.co.uk, the most expensive countries for a GB of data are São Tomé and Príncipe, Bermuda, Nauru, Falkland Islands, and Saint Helena. The costs relay are between $28.26 to $52.50 for each GB data. One of the main reasons behind it is all these are island nations. Countries with the cheapest data cost offerings are India, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, and Ukraine.

Its very good that the data plans are the cheapest here, but the internet speed also matters. As per Speedtest Global Index, India ranked 127th with the average 12.08Mbps speed in mobile data. Whereas, our nation holds 75th position with average 40.45bps in the case of broadband (July 2020).

England boss Gareth Southgate has confirmed that Harry Maguire has been removed from the England squad.

England has confirmed their 24-men squad for the clash against Denmark and Iceland. Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was the part of this squad. But he was removed from the team after he was found guilty and was given suspended prison sentence following a brawl in Greece.

Maguire and his brother Joe with Christopher Sharman were arrested on Thursday after an altercation with Police in Greece. Yesterday he was found guilty in several issues in a court verdict. United captain has been handed a 21 month and 10 day suspended prison sentence.

Nike releases a video to pay tribute to late Kobe Bryant

Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in January. He was travelling with his daughter Gianna. Bryant and Gianna along with 7 others were all killed when their helicopter crashed near the Californian city of Calabasas in Los Angeles County.

Nike has released a video to pay tribute to the late Kobe Bryant on his 42nd birthday. The video is titled “Better|Mamba forever”. It is created by Wieden and Kennedy Portland and is narrated by rapper Kendrick Lamar.

Nike wrote in the caption: “Kobe Bryant taught us to be better-a better scorer, better GOAT, better father. His philosophy of #MambaMentality changed the game and continues to inspire athletes like Serena Williams, Anthony Davis, Sydney Leroux, Diana Taurasi and Sky Brown today.”

According to Nike, Bryant described the “mamba mentality” as “a constant quest to try to be better today than you were yesterday.”.

The video tribute ends with a clip of Bryant saying “Mamba out,” while the crowd chants his name and it fades with the message “Mamba forever”.

A statement on Nike’s website read: “Kobe Bryant was famous for his work ethic, and his commitment to improving every element of his game inspired athletes around the world, on and off the court,”

Kobe Bryant was a basketball legend, who won the NBA 5 times. He has spent his entire 20-year playing career with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant retired in 2016 but still, he was the face of the Lakers.

Bryant earned MVP honours in 2008, while he was named the Most Valuable Player in the 2009 and 2010 NBA Finals. He was also an 18-time All-Star to go with numerous other accolades, including two Olympic Games gold medals with the United States.

With the sixth season of Battle Pass, Apex Legends gets another Legend called Rampart. She is of Indian origin and her full name is Ramya Parekh, an expert weapon modder with a special custom-made turret named “Sheila”. In the game, she uses Sheila as her “ultimate” and this turret is difficult to destroy.

Whenever Rampart deploys Sheila in the game, then any of her teammates can use this turret. But unlike other legends, she is the only one who can handle and control Sheila most optimally. This fact was recently discovered by a Redditor named u/AmazingCanisLupis. He shared a gameplay video of Apex Legends showcasing the comparison between the reloading animations of Rampart handling “Sheila” and other legend handling the same gun.

The above video will clearly show you the difference between the other legends and the Rampart using the same turret. Unlike other legends, Rampart takes less time to reload the turret just by pressing a few buttons on the screen to pull a lever which brings out the magazine of the gun.

Other legends have to do the same function manually so, they take much more time than Rampart doing so. Hence, it proved that she can use her built Shelia flawlessly than other legends.

Rampart has become one of the OP(overpowering) legend of the Apex Legends. She has become favorites of many players in quite a short time and is getting more preference than other legends.
