The UNPACKED event of Samsung will be held on August 5 where we know Samsung may launch Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Fold 2 5G, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Smart Fit, etc. The company has still not confirmed the names of the products to be launched in the event.
Recently we have come across a video where we can see the Galaxy Buds Live is being showcased and it looks more like a leaked promo video shared by WalkingCat. Moreover, Evan Blass has already shared more images of the Galaxy Buds live showing the design from all the angles.
All thanks to @evleaks and GSMArena for all the images of the Galaxy Buds Live including the colour options and the case. The Buds Live will have three different colour options – Black, White and Mystic Bronze. The case of the Buds Live will have rubber tips and will be glossy outside for a premium look. The case will have two LED light indicators -one outside the case and another inside the case.
Galaxy Buds Live has also surfaced in the same color variant. After looking closely we can see these buds will have a glossy finish and two microphones with grills at the outer side. The inside image has not been revealed by the tipster. But previous renders showed that the Buds Live will have no silicone ear tips but only pointed grill for audio output.
As mentioned earlier these earbuds will not have silicone ear tips and that will definitely make a problem for noise isolation. These earbuds are like bean and will fit well in the ears but will not go inside the ear like other earbuds that have silicone ear tips.

A new Oppo smartphone coded Oppo PDYM20 has been spotted in the Geekbench website with some key specs revealed. The Oppo PDYM20 is the same device which was spotted in one of the online stores of China. We expect that the smartphone might be the Oppo A72 5G.
The Geekbench listing reveals that Oppo PDYM20 will come with 8GB RAM and motherboard – oppo6853. The smartphone will run on Android 10 will have a base frequency of 2.0GHz. The smartphone seems to have a Mediatek processor as the MediaTek’s MT6853 chip refers to the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC.
According to China Telecom, Oppo PDYM20 will feature a 6.5″ 90Hz display along with a 8MP front camera house in a punch-hole cut at the top left corner of the display. Around the back there is a triple rear camera setup of 16MP, 8MP, and 2MP units. The PDYM20 is expected to have three memory configurations – 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. Apart from Samsung, LG is also one of the renowned OLED display panels suppliers. Earlier, it declared that instead of 4.9 million units of large-sized OLED display panels it will ship only 3.6 million units this year and the cause is obviously the global pandemic condition.
A few days back, the CEO of UBI Research Choong Hoon Yi declared this news at a conference. Though, the dress declared number is also an estimation considering an improvement in the global TV market. It also depends on the operation of its China-based facility. In the case of any exceptional situation, the count may decrease further to 3.2 million units.
Last year, LG shipped around 3.3 million units of large OLED panes and estimated shipment of 6 million units of display panels this year. But it was made before the pandemic starts. So, there’s no chance of fulfillment.
Apart from Samsung and TCL, there are 19 more companies expected to launch there OLED televisions. 60 percent of the OLED panel demand, by the 19 companies, is accounted by LG itself and Sony takes 20%. The rest of the demand is for the other 17 companies.
Though Realme loses its position to Oppo on the basis of the Indian market share in the second quarter of 2020, it ranked a good position in the Indian hearable market. Though Realme is a newcomer in this field with 3 months of spend time, it comes third as per the market share in India.
As per Canalys, within this short of a time period, Realme achieves 10% of the entire hearable market share. In the first two positions, there is boAt with 20% of market share and Samsung has a 19% market share. Considering the global pandemic, the achievement of Realme is very much impressive as well as surprising. on the other hand, both Sony and Xiaomi have 6% of the market share each.
The report also figured out that the Asia Pacific region had witnessed 61% of Year-on-Year huge growth of the smart personal audio devices in the first quarter of 2020. The shipment reached around 16 million at that time.
By analyzing the entire true wireless market condition, it can be surely said that Realme has entered this market at the right time. As a result, it can utilize the entire market demand to come in the third position in India.
Asus is preparing to launch the ASUS ROG Phone 3 on July 21 globally and on July 22 in China. This is the top of the line gaming smartphone from the company and in the world as well. Asus is successfully making this ROG Phone series and people are loving it.
Now coming to the interesting part, ASUS is also keeping the Zenfone series alive and is developing at least a couple of them this time. So last time we saw that Zenfone 6 had a rotating camera which was its eye-catching feature and had most of the premium flagship specs in it. This time also we are hoping ASUS brings the Zenfone 7 series with high-end specs like flagship smartphones.
The above image is the kernel source code of a mysterious Asus device and after dissecting the same we came to know about a potential Pro variant of the next ZF series. At the top, you can clearly see the model says “ZF” which means Zenfone. Here, we came across two different sets of core clock values that were discovered in the files in question, listing speeds of 2.84 GHz and 3.09 GHz.
So, in simple language the 2.84GHz is the processor frequency of Snapdragon 865 and the 3.09GHz seems to be the 10% increased frequency from the Snapdragon 865 which particularly refers to none other than Snapdragon 865+ as the company has already revealed it earlier that Snapdragon 865+ will have 10% more efficient than the Snapdragon 865.
This clearly refers to that there will be two different models among which the Asus Zenfone 7 might come with Snapdragon 865 and the Zenfone 7 Pro can have the Snapdragon 865+ processor.
Evan Blass, a reliable tipster of Twitter, has shared a new video in his twitter account which shows the 360-degree video of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20. The rotating video of the smartphone gives us the idea of the design. There are several renders and even some official renders have also surfaced in the last few weeks but this is one of the first renders which shows the surrounding video of the smartphone.
Evan Blass has not revealed any other information about this divide in his twitter account but has surely discussed in his patron website, where you can get some of the most exclusive leaks from the tipster.
I feel like, with a leak such as this, several hours of exclusivity for Patreon subs should suffice. Many of you have been quite patient. 😊 pic.twitter.com/MqxzlRpD5e
From this video, we can again see the centralized punch-hole selfie camera on the display. Around the back, we can see three high-resolution camera modules with a flash beside the camera sensors. The body looks plastic at there back, and there might be a metal frame at the side for better durability. Including that there will be an S-Pen and now it will be placed at the left side of the Type-C charging port.
According to GSMArena, the Galaxy Note 20 series will have 120Hz refresh screens where the Galaxy Note 20 would have FHD resolution and the Galaxy Note 20+ may come with QHD display. Both the smartphones will have a 5nm Exynos 992 chipset and the least possibility is that the Galaxy Note 20+ will feature Samsung’s 108MP sensor for its main camera.
Finally, Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei has updated its laptop line with the latest AMD Ryzen 4000U processors. It’s MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15 laptops form the budget line of laptops for Huawei while offering decent specs for the pricing.

The laptop came in May this year and was available for orders and I was one of the firsts to write about it and then the Lenovo Flex 5 just got popular overnight. It was selling like hotcakes, which is still as it holds the no. 1 spot, and has become a choice for a lot of reviewers and enthusiasts who need a good laptop at budget.
There are a lot of laptops out there but why this budget, made of plastic, the 2-in-1 laptop is the best selling 2-in-1 laptop out there? Now, there are almost 15 sellers just on Amazon for the same laptop because of the insane value this laptop gives you. In this article, I will state some facts that still makes this laptop the best budget laptop out there.
Lenovo Flex 5 14-inch 2-in-1 Laptop Specs
The Lenovo Flex 5 14-inch features the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U which comes with 6 Zen 2 cores running at 2.3 GHz base clock speed and up to 4.0 GHz boost clock speed. It is coupled with 16 GB DDR4 RAM & 256 GB SSD storage.
Lenovo promises up to 10 hours of battery life along with quick charge support that can charge up to 80% in just 1 hour with the 65W adapter, which indeed is great for a budget notebook.
The Lenovo Flex 5 14-inch 2-in-1 Laptop features a 10-point, 14-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS touchscreen with narrow bezels on 4 sides of the display gives you more viewing area and less clutter to interfere with the task at hand.
The laptop is very thin and light weighing just 3.64 lbs and AMD Radeon Vega 6 graphics with 6 CUs and 1500 MHz graphics frequency make it ideal for productivity purposes as well as gaming. Its 360° hinge let you use your 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop in whatever mode works best for you.
The Lenovo Flex 5 features 2 x 2W Speakers with Dolby Audio support and includes a physical privacy shutter on the HD 720p camera with Fixed-Focus CMOS. For connectivity, you have 2×2 Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 options, for ports we have 2 USB-A, 1 USB Type-C, and an HDMI port.
Reasons to make this laptop the best-sellers:
Performance – This laptop houses the most powerful budget APU currently, the 6 core, 6 threaded Ryzen 5 4500U which performs even better than any Intel Ice or Comet Lake CPUs. If Intel ones still deliver better or almost similar single-core performance, the Ryzen 5 4500U just makes every Intel CPU shy even though it’s still a budget APU. Being coupled with 16GB RAM is a major boost for this laptop and the price-to-performance ratio of this laptop is unmatched.
Productivity – Being a proper 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop helps this laptop in a lot of perspectives as it’s not only portable being very light and having a touchscreen it helps to do anything you want to be it watching movies, writing notes or just casual work-related stuff, this is an allrounder at budget.
Battery Life – On any budget laptop, most brands neglect this part completely but here even though it houses a 6-core CPU but thanks to AMD’s 7nm efficiency, the laptop still is able to deliver around 10 hours of battery life which has lasted for 7-8 hours for most reviewers out there, still good enough for a budget laptop. It also has quick charge support that can charge up to 80% in just 1 hour.
Price – Yes, price is a big factor for choosing this laptop because at this price you do not get a laptop with such great APU with strong integrated graphics and the fact that it also a 2-in-1 laptop makes the deal even sweeter. There a lot of laptops or say premium ultrabooks that cannot deliver such performance at the price its available at.
Other minor things – Even though it has plastic body it still looks and feels good, the keyboard is still very decent for a budget laptop and it still has backlit one as well. It comes with a Lenovo Active Pen included which makes things easier and helps in your daily life as well, it has a privacy shutter on the webcam for security along with a physical fingerprint reader. The front-firing speakers and the touchpad are also good enough in daily usage.
Obviously, nothing is perfect, this is still a laptop out of plastic, lacks Wi-Fi 6 or Thunderbolt port, it doesn’t have the most colour accurate display but still is worthwhile for the price. This laptop is ideal for a lot of students who need a good laptop at a budget or just another 2-in-1 for everyday use, or just another laptop for even compiling codes or doing browsing sessions, playing casual games.
The price is what makes the new Lenovo Flex 5 is a great option and if you still want to know more about it check this review:

Now, if you reside in India like me, then Amazon is shipping the laptop internationally as well for around $380 extra which is worthwhile to note, but you can get it shipped via third party carriers as well. Whenever this laptop comes to India and if Lenovo prices it right then this will also be a best seller in the country.
Needless to say, the global pandemic affects all the market places along with other fields all over the world and it’s worst any of us ever seen. The smartphone market is not an exception. Stats said the overall YoY smartphone market drop in India is 48% and it is analyzed by Canalys.
According to the list, Xiaomi once again leads the market followed by Vivo and Samsung. Oppo and Realme switched their positions on the list. Now Oppo comes up at the fourth position and Realme downed at fifth position.
As usual, Xiaomi keeps its top position in the second quarter of 2020 with the shipment of 5.3 million units and secure 30.9% of Indian market share, YoY growth decreased by 48%.
Similar to Xiaomi, Vivo also gets success to secure the same position as Q4 2019. It ranked 2nd after shipping 3.7 million and holds a 21.3% market share.
After that, in the third position, there is Samsung. It shipped 2.9 million units in Q2 2020 and keeps 16.8% of the market share. The annual growth of Samsung is 60% less than previously.
Oppo and Realme come back to back after Samsung at the fourth and fifth positions respectively. As I mentioned, Realme loses its fourth position to Oppo and comes down to the fifth. Oppo shipped 2.2 million units, where Realme managed 1.7 million units. Both companies have market shares of 12.9% and 10% respectively.
The other OEMs including Apple, Nokia, Asus, OnePlus, together, shipped 1.4 million units and have a market share of only 8.1%. Among all the smartphone makers, Apple is the less affected brand with 20% of YoY reduction.
