The campaign focuses on MPL’s new T20 season ticket and will be used on TV and digital mediums
Mobile Premier League (MPL), India’s largest esports and mobile gaming platform, has released its Rs 99 Ticket ad campaign ahead of the IPL, featuring renowned actors Manoj Bajpai and Prakash Raj. The ad will run on TV as well as digital mediums during the IPL starting today.
The ads are similar and while Manoj Bajpai’s ad will target the Hindi-speaking markets, Prakash Raj’s version, in multiple southern languages, will target the South Indian markets.
The ad was conceptualised and executed end-to-end by MPL’s creative team. It features Bajpai and Prakash playing themselves and seeks to educate users on MPL’s latest feature, the Rs 99 Ticket, which lets its users play unlimited Fantasy Cricket contests on the app throughout the course of the T20 Cricket season. The ad will run on the Star Sports network during the IPL.
“The concept was to communicate the unique features of the Rs 99 Ticket in a simple yet impactful manner, and Manoj Bajpai and Prakash Raj fit the bill perfectly. We felt the proposition is unique for our users, with a single pass enabling them to play Fantasy for free all season long, and the ad carries that message with some tongue-in-cheek humour,” said Abhishek Madhavan, Senior Vice President, Growth and Marketing, MPL.

AnalytIQ Sports Technologies launches India’s first strategy ‘Cricket Manager’ with all gameplay powered by our proprietary AI-driven simulator game, SuperCric. The Bangalore based sports tech start-up has built a proprietary cricket simulator tool based on real historical data from cricket tournaments worldwide (the only one of its kind globally available for fans to explore the likelihood of occurrence of performance for their favourite players and teams), that will enable better choice-making for daily fantasy gamers this IPL season and also give them an opportunity to engage and better their skills all year round.
SuperCric, built with a proprietary simulation tool, is developed as a first of its kind sports engagement tool which will facilitate better decision making for the invested cricket fan. In a new genre of gameplay – fans are putting their cricket intelligence and judgment against the traditional knowledge of teams. Can you outsmart Rohit or MSD on the field is the real question?
SuperCric, a modern-day cricket manager which will now enable Cricket fans to put on their Captain’s hat and see how each choice they make in the game has an implication on the outcome of the match. By testing their choices and gauging the possible outcomes through this tool, fantasy players have an opportunity to widen their chances of winning bigger in their fantasy games this IPL.
SuperCric is not a fantasy platform but an ideal tool for fantasy gamers that is powered by an Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven proprietary simulation tool that is able to predict the probability of a win for each team with an over 90% accuracy rate. In the immediate future, SuperCric aims to target every fan tuned into this year’s IPL with viewership numbers expected to be in excess of 600million people across India.
This game lets you pick your playing XI from your squad for some legendary tournaments and using only your strategic understanding of the game as a tool can you craft a winning XI or an over by over strategy of who should bowl.
As a cricket fan, you always feel some key moments should have had different decision making. Some team selections have been tricky given the opposition. And you have never had a way to validate this feeling. SuperCric is a unique simulator that lets you simulate a game and its combinations many times over. Soon the game will also let you simulate key games from a certain stage in the match allowing you to validate your judgments.
SuperCric is developed of ex-cricketer and IPL presenter Suhail Chandhok and husband-wife entrepreneurial duo of Arvind Sivdas and Dhanya Param both IIT Madras grads, who also co-own Kabaddi Adda. This platform is the Kabaddi world’s fastest-growing digital content & distribution platform which offers deep insight into the Kabaddi ecosystem with an audience over 28 million+.Suhail being an ex-cricketer and current IPL presenter himself will now take this opportunity to reflect his experience and knowledge gathered over the years in SuperCric.
A former professional sportsman hailing from 3 generations of Sport, Suhail Chandhok is currently one of India’s leading Sports Presenters & Commentators, having been the face & voice of global sporting properties such as the Indian Premier League (IPL), Pro Kabaddi League, Wimbledon Tennis, among several others. Chandhok played professional Cricket in Australia & the UK and enjoyed a stint with the IPL’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2009 & 10.
According to Suhail Chandhok Co-Founder, SuperCric, “The gaming ecosystem is at the cusp of disruption. COVID has pushed the market to explore and embrace games faster. The data economy with more time on hand for users points to an even bigger future for the industry. Investors are recognizing this and lining up to being new genres itself into this market.”
SuperCric recently raised angel funding of an undisclosed amount from a European investor, Pontus Lemberg. They plan to launch the game and expand its user base to 10 million by the end of the upcoming cricket season.

Key features:
Tournaments – In this mode, users can play as their favourite team and play the whole tournament with the same team. This feature allows the user to go through the whole tournament (14 matches in the case of IPL) in a week. Moving forward we will introduce older data and so allow users to play tournaments with their favourite IPL teams from 2008 onwards. Over time new tournaments will be launched on every Saturday and be active till midnight on the following Friday.
Tournament Rewards – Much like real tournaments, awards will be given to the top teams, highest-scoring batsmen, top wicket-takers, highest sixes, most stumpings, and much more. This will allow users to think about their squads over the whole tournament and simulate the experience of having to shuffle their squads if they don’t win and stick to squads that work well.
Weekly Leaderboards – The awards will be given for the large selection of winners for every tournament. All points earned during a live tournament will contribute towards the weekly leaderboard.
MSD quotient – At Super Cric decisions determine your destiny. We created a metric called MSD quotient named after arguably World’s greatest T20 captain. This gives the user a sense of risk they are taking with every decision.
Play by Play Mode – This feature makes the pressures of being on the field more realistic. Decisions need to be made when wickets fall and after every over. Users need to plan and manage their resources wisely.
Cards – Three cards are awarded to every player who enters the tournament. Users can deploy the card to get a pitch report before the match, increase the aggression of play when required and replace one player after the toss. This will add a fun quotient to users’ experience at Super Cric.
Decision Review Screen – At the end of the match, users get machine learning-driven insights into their decisions in their match. This will help them make similar or better decisions in the following matches.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) tech – Our simulator is built on the back of long-dated historical data. Matchups like player ability/weakness against a specific bowler and a bowling skill type are also reflected. Also leaves flexibility for miracles as only AI can offer. The simulation also does reflect the current form of the player and will constantly keep getting updated as we receive more data in the system.

Following some steady investment from the Suning group, it has been some time since Inter lifted the title. But even Antonio Conte’s arrival did not help alleviate the fans’ expectations. However, there is hope this season – for a different reason altogether. Rivals elsewhere are not doing any better and this would be Conte’s second season. So with signings made this summer as well, can this finally be Inter’s year?
Transfer Activity
Achraf Hakimi is officially a new Inter player. Contract signed until June 2025. Real Madrid will receive €40M + €5M add ons. 🤝 #Inter#RealMadrid#transfers
Inter managed to wrap up early deals for Achraf Hakimi and Nicolo Barella from Real Madrid and Cagliari respectively. After that, they have secured Kolarov and Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer. With a deal for Arturo Vidal on the way and a Lautaro Martinez contract extension in the pipeline, things have so far been good for Inter in the transfer market – and serves a reminder that Conte has now got sufficient backing.
Strength
It is almost a huge surprise how Inter did not manage to close out the Scudetto last season. They were second in the goals scored tally with 81 in 38 games, whilst also being the best defence having conceded just 36 goals. Influential players such as Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez lead the lines in attack while there was a sense of resilience and toughness at the back. Veteran goalkeeper and captain Handanoic leads the team from the front and is a very composed figure to have in the squad.
Weakness
On closer introspection, it felt like the highs were highs and lows were very low for Inter. Despite dominating possession and creating more chances in the game, losses like Lazio and Napoli really hurt them. It does not help the cause that sometimes Inter also over-committed players forward and leave huge spaces in the defence. A well-organised team able to counter-attack, eventually then finds the goal. Inter also do not do well in pressure situations and big games – versus Juventus and Sevilla in the Europa League final this season, being classic examples.
Key Player
What a rise from the ashes it has been for Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku. Often criticized during his time at Manchester United, the striker really found a rhythm under Conte – who has long adored him. With a tally of 23 goals last season, Lukaku can play according to the situation. With a mighty presence, he has produced some powerful and unstoppable shots at times. The aim for him will be to improve that goal tally this season.
Predicted Table Finish
2nd Place: Inter have almost everything, bar the ability to finish off the hard work they do. The only thing that separates them and Juventus at the moment, is whether they can carry the confidence and go on unbeaten match streaks. Having said that, Inter have a great chance at the title this time and should make the most of it.

Bertrand Traore has previously been with the Premier League side, Chelsea. But currently, he was plying his trade with Olympique Lyonnais in Ligue 1.
Premier League club Aston Villa are keen on improving their attack after successfully signing a five-year contract extension with their club captain Jack Grealish.
Aston Villa has now agreed to pay Lyon around €21M + add-ons. They have offered Traore a 4-year contract.
⏳🔜✅ Bertrand #Traoré to #AstonVilla from #OlympiqueLyon for €21M + add-ons. 4-year contract. Total agreement confirmed. He’s already passed medical visit last Monday. He is waiting for visa and work permit to fly to Birmingham. #AVFC are working to solve and complete the deal https://t.co/4URqIkBrgD
The 25-year-old knows Villa assistant coach John Terry from his time at Chelsea so it would be easy for him to settle at the club. He also has experience playing in the Champions League for the French club last season. He scored four times in 32 appearances in all competitions.
Villa have enjoyed a productive month in the transfer market, breaking their transfer record to sign Ollie Watkins from Brentford. They have also sealed a £16m deal with Arsenal for goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, while Matty Cash has also joined on a five-year deal from Nottingham Forest.
Aston Villa would definitely like to push for a Europa League spot this season.
After JayzTwoCents unveiled the live photos of the upcoming Radeon RX 6900XT, another YouTuber RedGamingTech has totally leaked the photos of this upcoming GPU. It seems both the YouTubers share the same source that asked RedGamingTech to leak almost all the photos of the reference GPU.
Yes its the same triple-fan GPU which has been unveiled on Fortnite and AMD has even previewed it on Twitter. But these YouTubers have taken into the next level even showing the backside of the GPU. Although the name Radeon RX 6900XT has not been confirmed yet this is surely the next flagship RDNA 2 based AMD GPU.

AMD will be launching multiple Navi 2x GPUs to counter NVIDIA’s new RTX 30 series GPUs and the flagship model shown here should feature Navi 21 GPU while the other should be Navi 22 or Navi 23 based. The Radeon RX 6900 series features the same revamped RADEON logo that will glow in red.
Also, there’s a large cut out on the sides of the GPU for the fans to ventilate the hot air. With the ‘R’ logo on the top of each fan, there are two 8-pin power connectors meaning a lot of power will be needed to power these GPUs. For the ports, you have four display outputs including 1 HDMI, 2 DisplayPort, and a single Virtual Link port (Type-C) connector.
Source: RedGamingTech
The image for the dual-fan AMD GPU, probably the Radeon RX 6800 & Radeon RX 6700 series of GPUs, is also the same. The dual-fan design has the same design but slightly different cooling solutions and a slightly compact form factor. The dual axial-tech fan design features a large “R” logo in the middle as well as on the fans too that symbolizes the Radeon branding.

Interestingly, apart from the reference GPUs, RedGamingTech also shared two images of other AIB cards as well, one being a dual-fan one probably the Radeon RX 6800 or Radeon RX 6700, and also there’s a triple-fan GPU as well which should be the AMD Radeon RX 6900XT.
You can check RedGamingTech‘s video as well for more reference and he also mentioned that he had few more images but does not have the authority to share them. He also even stated the fact that the dual-fan design image could actually change as well before launch.
Leaking out this much info before over 1 month left for launch doesn’t make sense, however, maybe AMD maybe wants to keep some gamers towards itself who can tend to go for NVIDIA instead. Well, honestly seeing this much hardware is too pleasant for my eyes and this will actually be interesting to see if RDNA 2 lives up to the hype that its has created in the market.
Do check out some benchmarks leaks of these RX 6000 GPUs:
It was a mixed season for Napoli when one looks at the bigger picture. They finished 7th in the table and failed to qualify for European football. But then, they won the Coppa Italia against Juventus and the rules suggest the winner of the Italian Cup goes straight to the group stages of the Europa League. But there are some concerns over the squad’s performance and so the doubt remains – are Napoli good enough to secure European football and perhaps, an outside contender for the Scudetto?
Transfer Activity
OFFICIAL: Napoli announce the signing of striker Victor Osimhen from Lille ✍️ pic.twitter.com/ubJkFNiPef
Napoli signed 21-year-old Victor Osimhen from Lille for a club-record deal of 70 million pounds. In addition, they’re also looking at Jordan Veretout and Jeremie Boga who will reinforce their midfield and wings. The speculation is ongoing about Koulibaly but news suggests that Napoli have to sell because of the expected financial losses.
Strength
The biggest positive for Napoli is the fact that they have a core set of players who understand the system and consistently perform well. Their attack scored 61 goals last season and that will only be reinforced by the arrival of Victor Osimhen. With midfield forces like Fabian Ruiz and attackers in Mertens and Lozano, they are set to form vital partnerships who can constantly create movements and chances.
Weakness
The defensive organisation is something that is rarely lacking in Gennaro Gattuso’s philosophy. Yet, Napoli have managed to push higher up leaving ample space behind. Affected by counters and mistakes in crucial passes on the flanks, they ended up conceding 50 goals in 38 games. If the second season under Gatusso is to be better, the backline has to be fully focused and concentrated in such situations.
Key Player
A long-standing member of the squad and captain, Lorenzo Insigne. The 5’3″ winger might be diminutive in nature but has the knack of zipping past defenders and curling the ball into the top corners with fierce shots. With a return of 8 goals and 6 assists last season, the Italian international will want to improve on this tally and perform even better.
Predicted Table Finish
3rd Place: Expect Napoli to be back playing in the premier European competition next season. Gattuso had enough resources to steer them to this objective and if a few situations go their way, they can also be involved in the title race.
Wolverhampton Wanderers or simply Wolves are all set to link with international schools, academies, and football clubs in India after the Covid-19 pandemic calms down. The Premier League club has recently tied a partnership with Boss Entertainment India.
Boss Entertainment said to the Press, “Soon after the pandemic is over, Wolves International plans to link with international schools, academies, and clubs and do more on-ground football development activities in India, which also will open multiple avenues and great opportunities for football enthusiasts to thrive manifolds.”
Director of Sports Marketing at Boss India Entertainment, Shaan Singh said, “We are really excited to have taken a small, but big step into the development of football in India through the amazing knowledge of Joe Hunt and Wolves. The expertise and knowledge shared by the Wolves will certainly help Indian football clubs go a long way.”

Many European giants and some other foreign organizations are already investing and working with various different ISL clubs. Spanish Giant Atletico Madrid has worked with ATK earlier. Borussia Dortmund recently tied up with Hyderabad FC. City Football Group has invested in Mumbai City FC.
All the other organizations along with Indian clubs and organizations is helping to grow the Indian football scenario. They are assuring better infrastructure, better grassroots level growth, and also giving lots of opportunities to the young talents of India.
Joe Hunt, the International Project Manager of Wolves said, “We decided that during the lockdown, the best way to engage with the 60 coaches in India was with some free webinars, which I would deliver on topics like i) getting started and individual focusing, ii) an insight into ‘gameplay’ through the ages. How tactics are used in the development of players at the elite level, iii) looking at football fitness and player motivation across the age groups and various levels of the game and many more.”
This will be one of the major steps to help the growth of Indian football, if it becomes true.
The Indian Super League is growing rapidly in every way. It has already been reported that within 2024 it can be an AFC authorized premier division tournament of India fully.
But before that, it has already overtaken the A-League of Australia when it comes to providing financial benefits to players and has started competing with the premier division leagues of Korea, Japan and China.
ISL started its journey 7 years back in 2013 with 8 different teams from different parts of India. Soon it became the top division tournament of India. From this season it will be an 11-team league.
ISL has given a rapid growth to Indian Football. The quality, infrastructure, growth at the grassroots level everything became better day by day. The wages of every player have also increased. ATK Mohun Bagan FC (previously known as ATK) striker Roy Krishna had a 15% wage hike after spending 6 seasons in Wellington Phoenix, winning the A-League Golden Boot.
Bengaluru FC CEO, Mandar Tamhane said, “We are probably one of the top 5 nations in Asia if you discount the Middle East countries. But, if you look at the eastern side of Asia, and look at China, Korea, Japan, the ISL is competing with them in terms of wages. In the initial years of ISL, we had marquees, creating an awareness that there is a league in India called the ISL where Alessandro Del Piero, Robert Pires, and Nicolas Anelka come and play. That’s why we have been able to convince some really good talents to come and play in India.”
According to an Asian Football expert, “The A-League has run into trouble with the broadcasters Fox Sports, who have halved their AUD 57 million annual funding. This coupled with the post-COVID-19 football market, clubs have told players to accept up to 30 percent pay cuts. No wonder an ISL contract will be much more alluring as Indian football continues to invest and grow.”
European Giants Borussia Dortmund tied up with Hyderabad FC whereas City Football Group [CFG] has invested in Mumbai City FC. All these have also contributed to the growth of the Indian Super League. We hope it gets much better in near future.
With the loss of two of their most prized assets in Kai Havertz and Kevin Volland, Bayer Leverkusen look set for a difficult season ahead. Let’s take a look at their chances in the 20/21 season and whether or not they will be able to secure Champions League football without some of the most prolific players in recent memory.
Key players
Moussa Diaby
Sven Bender
Lars Bender
Leon Bailey
Jonathan Tah
Moussa Diaby and Leon Bailey can provide Bayer Leverkusen with great chances. Their blistering pace can leave opposition defenders behind, without a doubt.
On the more defensive side of things, The Bender brothers as well as highly rated centre back Jonathan Tah can provide stability and cut back on goals conceded.
Winning Points
Bayer Leverkusen are a fast-playing team. With their impressive wingers and the addition of Patrik Schick to their ranks, Peter Bosz can hope for a European finish at the very least.
They have good names at the back with the likes of Jonathan Tah, The Benders, Edmond Tapsoba and Wendell. All that remains to be seen is how the players perform in the big matches.
They have shown that they can progress deep into tournaments like the DFB Pokal and the Europa League, all they need is to be clinical in the dying stages.
Challenges
From a broader perspective, the biggest challenge for Bosz this season will be replacing Kai Havertz and Kevin Volland.
LEVERKUSEN, GERMANY – JANUARY 26: Kai Havertz of Leverkusen celebrates his team’s first goal during the Bundesliga match between Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Fortuna Duesseldorf at BayArena on January 26, 2020 in Leverkusen, Germany. (Photo by Lars Baron/Bongarts/Getty Images)
Leverkusen have lost two of their best players and have to turn to the youngsters and the rest of the squad to fill the void.
Progression into the DFB Pokal and Europa League will also help the team gain some well-needed experience.
Transfer Activity
Players out include the likes of Kai Havertz and Kevin Volland.
Patrik Schick has been recruited by the club from Roma, although he spent the 19/20 season with RB Leipzig.
Tin Jedvaj has completed his loan spell at Augsburg and has returned to the club.
Leverkusen have also been linked with a move for Arsenal’s Saed Kolasinac.
Predicted finish: 5th
Although Leverkusen have a decent range of talent among their ranks, it is hard to see them challenge for the title this season. Especially when they’re making up for the departures of two of their best-attacking players.
However, Peter Bosz might just end up surprising us and could land a Champions League berth this season.
Despite the result, one thing is for sure, we are in for a very entertaining Bundesliga season.
