Impact of Trump’s step on Apple: 95% Chinese users may switch from iPhone rather leaving WeChat

You may know, the US President Donald Trump signed an executive order a few days ago resulting ban on any transaction with ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, and WeChat. Due to this, Apple may have to remove both the two applications from its app store.

Before going into deep on this topic, let you know in China WeChat is one of the most popular applications and considered as an ‘OS inside an OS’. If you are thinking it’s only a messaging app, it can do a lot more than that. Chinese peoples used it while shopping, do transactions, and much more.

Because of the popularity and features of WeChat, the Chinese people find it better to switch from Apple rather than stop using the application. After getting responses from over 1.2 million users, a survey found that 95% of Chinese people are agreed to do that.

Earlier, another survey by the Apple analyst MingChi Kou disclosed that kicking out WeChat may down the iPhone sale by around 30%. That’s because of the indifference of the Chinese customers.

It’s still unclear whether Trump’s order will apply to the outside US regions or not. Let’s see what happens next.

Misery for England and Spain while two teams each from Germany and France will compete in the Champions League semi-finals

0

The Champions League semi-finals lineup has been completed. Two teams from Bundesliga, Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig will face two teams from Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais.

This is the first time since 2012-13 that the Champions League semi-finals will be represented by two nations, Germany and France.

As teams from Germany and France enjoy success in this season’s Champions League, it has been a sad time for clubs from Spain and England. It is the first time since 1995-96 that no English or Spanish sides will compete in the Champions League semi-finals.

Also, for the first time since 2004-05, neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Lionel Messi will make an appearance in the Champions League semi-finals.

Bayern Munich are the firm favourites for this season’s Champions League but PSG superstars Neymar and Mbappe can surely pull off surprises.
