Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra tipped to support S Pen

0

Samsung will introduce its Galaxy S21 series next year. Samsung is expected to launch three variants of the S21 series: S21, S21+ & S21 Ultra. Among them, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is rumored to have S-pen support with it. On the other hand, a renowned tipster has made a post on his Twitter handle that Galaxy S21 is confirmed to have a support of S-pen. But Samsung itself has not confirmed anything yet regarding this issue.

There is another confusion regarding the S-pen. We can find the support of S-pen in the Galaxy Note series. So, the question arises that whether Samsung will use the S-pen as the Note series on the upcoming S21 Ultra or else the company will make a new low latency S-pen and use it with the S21 Ultra. As per the Twitter post, the news is confirmed, but no confirmation from Samsung.

If Samsung will use an S-pen with its S21 Ultra, then the display technology has to be improved. In other words, the Galaxy S21 Ultra needs to come with a digitizer underneath the display to pick up inputs from the S-pen. If this happens, the Galaxy S series and the Galaxy Note series will be almost similar to each other. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to feature a QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. A QHD+ display is obviously a better one than FHD+. That’s why Samsung may use a digitizer under the display to make full use of an S-pen with it.

0

In India, the game of Indian rummy or paplu is popular and it’s played by people from all walks of life. The game requires you to create sequences and sets of cards. It falls in the category of skill games, which need skills to win. But don’t worry if you are a beginner — you can quickly learn the game and start playing.

When the game went online, there was an overwhelming response from the gaming community. This is because the online game is just like real-world rummy and there is a huge scope for winning cash. There are many online rummy platforms like Junglee Rummy where you can play exciting cash rummy games and tournaments.

But some traditional rummy players are skeptical about the safety of online cash games. Do you also wonder whether it’s safe to play cash rummy games online? The answer to the question is a big yes! It’s safe and legal to play cash rummy games online. However, there are a few things you need to check before playing online rummy for cash. Let’s take a look at them:

  • Perfectly Legal and Safe

Some people have questions about the legality of online rummy. But you should know that the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has declared rummy a game of skill and ruled that playing cash rummy games, as well as free rummy games, is legal. A game of skill is a game in which the outcome depends mainly on the skill, expertise, experience or knowledge of the player, not luck or chance. Skill is the dominant factor in deciding the result of a skill game, so playing skill games for cash is not gambling or betting. Playing skill games for real money is legally considered a business activity in India, not gambling. So it is perfectly legal to play rummy for real money in India. However, real money games, including rummy, are prohibited by the state laws of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Telangana. As long as you are not a resident of these states, you can freely register with an online rummy platform and play rummy games for real money. Certified platforms like Junglee Rummy are absolutely safe to play cash rummy online.

  • Clarity of Game Rules

Most online rummy platforms have a dedicated section for game rules. So if you are a beginner, you can go through the rules of every rummy variant before getting started. That will not only provide you with clarity on rules but also help you transition smoothly to online rummy. Also, the game rules are strictly followed by all players playing on certified rummy platforms, which is quite uncommon in real-world rummy.

  • Responsible Gaming

There is no doubt that rummy is an entertaining game. But some players develop an addiction to the game and start playing irresponsibly. To prevent any gaming addiction and irresponsible gaming, certified rummy platforms like Junglee Rummy have a Responsible Gaming Policy and a feature that limits players’ daily and monthly deposits. You can set a limit to your daily and monthly deposit and enjoy the game without playing beyond your means. Also, players’ gaming behavior is monitored and they are alerted if they tend to develop any compulsive behavior. Moreover, if you feel you are developing an addiction to the game or are playing it compulsively, you can use the self-exclusion feature, which prevents you from playing the game for a time period specified by you.

  • Secure Payment Gateways

The main concern of any cash game player is the safety of online transactions on the gaming platform. Certified rummy platforms use foolproof encryption for safe deposits and withdrawals. They have various payment methods like credit/debit card and net banking. So if you want to play rummy for real money, you can sit back and relax. All your online transactions will be absolutely safe and secure on certified rummy platforms. If you win a cash game or tournament, your winnings will be automatically credited to your account safely.

Certified rummy apps & websites like Junglee Rummy have SSL certificates that ensure secure payments and use secure payment gateways like PayTM, Google Pay, and other UPIs for quick transactions.

  • Customer Support

A good, reliable rummy website like Junglee Rummy offers 24×7 customer support to resolve players’ queries promptly. Suppose you want to play a rummy tournament that will start in a few hours and you want to book a seat at the tournament. Unfortunately, you cannot deposit the entry fee due to a payment gateway issue. You can connect with the customer support of the gaming platform to get the issue resolved.

  • Absolutely Fair

When you play rummy in the real world, there are chances of cards getting repeated or bias in the dealing of cards. But in online rummy, everything, including card dealing, is automated. The shuffling of cards, selection of the Joker and dealing are done by the Random Number Generation (RNG) program. This RNG ensures unpredictability and fair dealing of cards. So the gameplay is totally unbiased and gives every player an equal opportunity to win. So you should look for the RNG certification of a rummy platform to be sure the game is fair.

So if you are hesitant about playing online rummy for real money, you can rest assured that playing cash rummy games on certified online rummy platforms is absolutely safe and legal. You can register with a certified rummy portal/app and start playing cash rummy games without any worries. However, before signing up, don’t forget to check for the platform features mentioned above.

Apps like Howzat are fueling the Growth of the INR 62 Billion Online Gaming Industry

0

We are all aware of the rise of the online gaming industry in India over the past few years. All the leading market analysts believe it is poised for greatness by. A report titled “Gaming – India Story”, published by the investment bank Maple Capital Advisors, states that the industry is expected to grow at 41% annually. The Indian gaming industry, valued at INR 62 Billion in 2019, is set to grow to INR 250 Billion by 2024. Let us take a look at the factors driving this exponential growth.

Why is the Indian gaming industry booming?

  • Digital infrastructure: India currently boasts of 650 million active internet users, making it the second-largest online market in the world. The digital infrastructure has also boosted the digital payment market in India. The emergence of players like Paytm, GPay, etc. has made it easier for Indian businesses to accept digital payments. India is expected to have 300 million digital payment users by 2022, which is a big boost to the gaming industry.
  • Young population: India is a young country, with over 75% of its population under the age of 45. India has the biggest gaming potential in terms of sheer volume. The rapid urbanization and growing digital infrastructure are supported by the rising disposable income in the hands of the young population of India. This has resulted in higher cash flow into the Indian gaming market.
  • Boom in mobile gaming: Until a few years ago, no one would have even considered mobile phones as the preferred platform for gaming. Cut to 2020, 90% of Indian gamers are playing on mobile phones, as per a report titled “The Evolving Landscape of Sports Gaming in India,” published by KPMG. Mobile phones have almost replaced traditional gaming consoles by providing the same excitement with more comfort. Also, mobile phones are a much cheaper alternative to consoles and PCs. This has resulted in mobile phone developers releasing mobile phones suited for a complete gaming experience and the Indian youth becoming more inclined to invest in better handsets.
  • Rise of developers: The boom in mobile gaming and the resultant big profits have resulted in a steep rise in the number of game developers in India. Back in 2010, there were just about 25 game developers in India. This number had increased to 250 by 2018. The game developers are working on games that are suited to the needs and interests of the Indian gaming market. This is evident as we see a rise in the number of developers offering games like Indian rummy and teen patti, which are very popular in India.
  • Fantasy sports: Online fantasy sports gaming is a form of skill-based online gaming where sports fans create their fantasy teams by selecting real-life players from upcoming matches. The teams then compete with each other on the basis of the players’ performance in real-life matches. Right now India has close to 100 million sports fans playing fantasy sports. This is because fantasy sports enable Indian sports fans to connect with their favorite sport, cricket, in a very realistic way.

Online Fantasy Sports Market in India

The online fantasy sports market reported the revenue of INR 924 crores and was poised for a 2X growth in 2020. The covid-19 pandemic was nothing more than a minor bump in the growth of this market, as it has picked up once again since the restart of international cricket in the month of July. With a user base of almost 100 million sports fans who play 3-4 times a week, online fantasy sports are a very big contributor to the online gaming industry in India. Let us take a look at the driving factors of the popularity of online fantasy sports in India.

  • Digital infrastructure: As discussed above, the development of digital infrastructure has contributed to the growth of the online gaming industry in India. It is also responsible for the growth in the number of sports fans in India. Internet access provides users with more in-depth and real-time engagement in their favorite sport. Indians do not just view live matches on their televisions anymore — they have started reading pre-match news and predictions, etc. on the internet. Online communities have been formed for sports fans to discuss their favorite sports. YouTube channels are dedicated to providing an in-depth analysis of the sport. These activities have acted as a catalyst for the online fantasy sports industry.
  • The emergence of new cricket leagues: The late 2000s saw a surge in investment in cricket. The introduction of T20 cricket paved the way for domestic cricket gaining mainstream popularity. The Indian Premier League was introduced back in 2008, which kick-started a cricket revolution. Never before had we seen such a hype around a domestic cricket league. Other cricket-playing nations followed suit and the Australian Big Bash, the Caribbean Premier League, the Vitality T20 Blast and many more such leagues were introduced to cricket fans. Cricket fans, who were used to seeing their favorite players play 20-30 times a year, could now see them feature more regularly in these leagues, and that subsequently resulted in the growth of online fantasy sports.
  • Investor activity: Investors saw huge potential in the online fantasy sports market, and this gave rise to innovations and partnerships in the online fantasy sports industry. Prominent athletes were signed by online fantasy sports platforms, which made sports fans take notice of these platforms and they subsequently started playing on them.
  • Innovations: The biggest reason for the popularity of the fantasy sports industry is the constant innovation made by top fantasy sports platforms like Howzat.

Fantasy sports platforms like Howzat have regularly surprised users with new features apart from hosting classic fantasy cricket contests for the most popular matches taking place around the globe. For example, in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic when no sports events were taking place in the real world, Howzat introduced a new feature called Recall Fantasy, where users could relive some of the best cricket matches from the past. Howzat also introduced a “Beat the Legend” fantasy sports format, where the user’s team is pitched against the team created by a sports legend like Irfan Pathan. Users are excited to play with a cricketing legend and hence are more engaged in the game. Online fantasy sports platforms are also introducing tournament leaderboards, which promise a bigger reward to the user for their prolonged investment in an ongoing tournament.

Online fantasy sports app like Howzat are ensuring with their delightful innovations that they leave no stone unturned to provide the best entertainment to their users. The efforts put in by fantasy sports apps during the global lockdown stand testimony to their commitment to keeping sports fans entertained and making online fantasy sports an even bigger contributor to the growth of the Indian online gaming industry in the coming years.

Kickstarting the campaign, Voot Kids is set to introduce a series of lighthearted and endearing brand films that speak through the lens of a child. Embracing innocence and honesty amidst the new normal, each film is thoughtfully created to capture moments in a child’s life reflecting at times their reality and at times, their parents’. The philosophy of unmuting kids, empowering them, bringing their stories forward and infusing masti mein acchai in their lives, will be continued through the year with various initiatives that reflect the thought. This Children’s Day is going to be the start of a year, that’s all about Kids.

The story: The first adorable brand film observes a kid standing with a placard that says, ‘Aryan’s Bhook Hartal’ as he revolts against the ‘paani wali daal’ cooked by his father, sharing the message of ‘Ab Hum Bolenge’. Continuing with the message, the second film, again through the eyes of a little girl, who has been confined in her home, rebels against the locked parks and playgrounds. Adjusting to the new normal of work from home, the third brand film showcases a little boy who is stopped from making noise in the house while his mother is on an important work video call. With a purpose in his eyes, the little boy is determined to now expose his mother’s secrets, highlighting the message of Ab Hum Bolenge. Further in the fourth film, making an unpleasant face after being told to drink a kaadha, the kid amplifies the message of Ab Hum Bolenge.

Speaking on the campaign, Vigyeta Agrawal, Head – Marketing at Viacom18 Digital Ventures said, “This year has been full of disruption for the kids and we wanted to give them an outlet to voice their side of the story. #UnmutetheKids is our endeavor to bring this conversation mainstream and we will keep building momentum on this, throughout the year via multiple initiatives.”

According to many sources, it has been noted that Star India earned advertising revenues worth 2250 crores on Television and another 200-250 crores from Hotstar ad-sales.

IPL 2020 has been big on numbers!

Star collaborated with 18 sponsors before the start of the tournament and also signed up a whopping 117 advertisers. Star also signed 13 on-air sponsors. Star has already signed deals with renowned organizations like Amazon, Byju’s, Dream11, PhonePe, PolyCab, ITC, Coca Cola, Rummy Circle, AMFI, P&G, Kamala Pasand, and various others. Byju’s was the biggest spender this year on on-air advertising.

“IPL has delivered brilliant numbers on viewership. The viewership growth as per our estimates in a range of 25%. But this growth will reflect in the advertising revenues of Star to only some extent. They had locked 85% of the deals before IPL begin. So they could sell only 15% inventory at a premium. It has been reported that IPL 2020 has recorded a jump of 30% in viewership numbers compared to last season. IPL 2020 has registered 7.3 billion viewing minutes per match (up to 32 matches) compared to the IPL 2019 count of 5.6 billion (35 matches).

Yaya Toure wanted to play in ISL but the main issue was financial problem

Indian Super League [ISL] is growing rapidly day by day, season by season. Many exciting foreigners are playing in the league in the last few seasons. Now ISL is catching the eyes of big names as well.

After Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Strinić, now former Manchester City legend Yaya Touré is the latest inclusion in the list who was in search of a club in India.

Yaya Touré has played in FC Barcelona, Manchester City in his playing career. He has won 2 La Liga during his time at FC Barcelona. He also won UEFA Champions League with the Catalan club in 2009. In 2010 he joined Manchester City and won 3 Premier Leagues in 8 years in England.

As per reports, he was offered to multiple ISL clubs. One club responded and they wanted to sign him for 200,000 USD (approx. Rs 1.5 crore) per year. It was less than what he earned every week during his time at Manchester City.

Mumbai City FC has partnered with ‘City Football Group’ which attracts many players in India. But the salary cap is restricting all the clubs from signing all world-class players.

Damian Willoughby, CEO, City Football Group India said: “Lots of players were interested in coming to Mumbai City FC because of the group’s involvement and support. People are becoming aware of the elevated profile of ISL across the global football community.”

According to the rules of ISL, clubs cannot spend more than Rs. 16.5 crores on player salaries. The salary cap does not include the transfer fees of the players. Loan wages are included in this cap though.

Yaya Touré even asked to accept payment from ‘Jersey Sales’. He was told in India there are not many Manchester City fans unlike Manchester United, Liverpool, and all.

ISL 2020-21 CLUB PREVIEW: Could new-look Mumbai City FC be aided by luck in their quest for qualification?

Mumbai City FC have been an underwhelming force throughout their history of the past six years. Since the inception of the league in 2014, MCFC have made it just once to the Playoffs stage, often finishing mid-table.

Revealed! The reason why Mumbai City FC logo has seven stars on it

But with new ownership, fresh tactical ideas and stronger players, can Mumbai create an impact this season? We take a brief look at how they stack up ahead of the new season –

TRANSFERS

Acquired by the CFG group earlier this year, Mumbai City identified a few key players in their scouting system. They have thus signed the likes of Fall, Boumous, Jahouh, Farukh Choudhary and Mandar Rao Desai.

They released Diego, Kevyn and Sogou as part of their rebuilding process. A number of Indian players which included Mohammed Rafique were let go to various I-League and ISL clubs.

FORWARDS

STRENGTH

Their biggest positive ahead of this season is the ability to be able to bring a manager like Sergio Lobera in their ranks. With a good win percentage, he also convinced the core players from FC Goa to join him at Mumbai. They are also a decent goalscoring side with 25 goals in 18 games last season and are only set to improve this season under Lobera’s attacking style of play.

WEAKNESS

Much like East Bengal, their influx of the number of transfers could lead to team chemistry being affected on the pitch. The uncertainty of not having a core that knows each other means Mumbai’s management has its task cut out to get all of them firing at the same time.

KEY PLAYER

ISL 2020-21: Bartholomew Ogbeche close to committing future with Kerala Blasters

Talismanic forward Bartholomew Ogbeche is undoubtedly a sheer force on his day. With the ability to wreck opposition defences, the Nigerian has a history of winning games on his own. He has scored 27 goals and 2 assists in 33 ISL appearances for both NorthEast United and Kerala Blasters.

PREDICTED TABLE FINISH

4th Place – Mumbai have just about enough firepower to make it to the playoffs, but how they go on from there is anybody’s guess at the moment.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is rumored to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC chipset. In terms of charging, both of them will support fast charging, probably around 22.5W. In terms of connectivity, everything including 5G will be there. But not sure whether it will have a 3.5mm headphone jack or not.
