AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 8 Core Cezanne ‘Zen 3’ Desktop APU leaked specs are impressive

0

It’s been a week of leaks and appearances, and we are all excited about the soon-to-be-released CPUs from Intel and AMD. According to fresh sources, the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 8 Core Cezanne ‘Zen 3’ Desktop APU has leaked out over Chiphell Forums. The forum posted that the chip is still an engineering sample but can boot up DDR4 memory at some pretty high frequencies.

The AMD Ryzen 7 5700G APU features 8 cores and 16 threads based on the 7nm Zen 3 core architecture. The APU comes with a monolithic package compared to AMD’s chiplet design on its Ryzen 5000 lineup.

The site also mentions that the chip includes 16 MB L3 & 4 MB L3 cache, a maximum clock speed of 4.6 GHz, and a 65W TDP. In terms of graphics, the CPU will have Radeon Vega graphics in an 8 compute unit configuration.

Speaking of benchmarks, the Ryzen 7 5700G ‘Zen 3’ Cezanne Desktop APU was tested on a platform featuring an MSI MEG B550 Unify-X motherboard, known for its impressive memory overclocking abilities. A total of 16 GB of memory was used in a dual-channel configuration.

In the test, the CPU managed to hit up to 2.5 GHz. The initial boot-up was done with a DDR4-4333 config with CL14-15-15-28 timings and was later pushed to DDR4-5000 MHz with CL16-17-17-36 timings.

According to sources, the CPU managed to attain an Infinity clock speed of 2367 MHz. The first test was done with a DDR4-4733 (CL14-14-14-28) memory configuration, and the AIDA64 cache and memory benchmark reported latency as low as 44.4 ns.

When we compare the numbers with other competitors present in the market, the APU doesn’t fail to impress. We can proudly say that the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7 5700G Cezanne Desktop APU is a definite improvement over the Renoir APUs. Hopefully, the performance will still improve with the real-world release.

Aston Villa ban their players from Fantasy Premier League

0

In what can only be described as one of the most bizarre pieces of news to come out of the Premier League over the last few days, Aston Villa fans have been banned from participating in the Fantasy Premier League game where participants can select players to build a Premier League dream XI to earn points based on their performances in real life.

The reason behind the stance comes from the fact that many Aston Villa players and backroom staff had transferred captain Jack Grealish out of their fantasy XI since the player would not be earning any points due to his absence from the pitch.

Grealish was, in fact, out injured and was left out of the match day squad that faced Leicester City in the league but ultimately lost 2-1. Villa boss Dean Smith was left fuming after the defeat and promised to investigate the issue as to how the knowledge of the player’s injury became public information.

Fantasy XIs can be viewed by anyone if the person knows what they are looking for. Since these accounts are not private, anybody can see each other’s lineup if they know the correct user ID. And that is what must have happened behind the scenes, due to which the injury was leaked.

Jacky grealish Aston Villa ban their players from Fantasy Premier League

Alongside Villa, many Premier League clubs are concerned regarding this issue and could approach the situation by asking their players to not choose their teammates in the Fantasy XI due to leaks such as this. However, it is unlikely that they will be banned altogether.

Intel Rocket Lake-S Core i5-11400 appears on Geekbench

0

We earlier saw the appearance of Intel Rocket Lake-S CPU namely the Core i9-11900KF on Geekbench. According to recent sources, another CPU of the Rocket Lake-S family has appeared in Geekbench.

The new GPU is the entry-level variant, namely the Core i5-11400. The results released by Geekbench are somewhat misleading, and we cannot ascertain that those are the actual performance scores of the CPU.

The Twitter user @Benchleaks is the first one who two instances of the Intel Core i5-11400 on Geekbench. Reports indicate that the CPU was running at a base and boost clocks of 2.59GHz and 4.39GHz. In the first run, the Intel Core i5-11400 managed to net a single-core score of 1,490 and a multi-core score of 6,576.

But in the second run, the results increased with single and multi-core scores of 1,500 and 6,664, respectively. The test was conducted using a machine that boasted 16GB of RAM clocked at 2,133MHz on an ASRock Z590M motherboard.

Looking at the scores, we can determine that the processor can be easily outperformed by an AMD processor boasting similar specs. But, Intel is aiming to cross the performance of its previous generation with its new models.

Its predecessor, the Intel Core i5 10400’s single-core score on Geekbench was around 1,150 and Its multi-core score is around 6,000. The Intel Core i5-11400’s ~30% increase in single-core performance is a testament to the new Cypress Cove cores that will debut alongside Rocket Lake-S processors. The Intel Core i5-11400 is still a 6-core, 12-thread CPU, so in terms of the multi-core performance, the CPU will still lack some juice.

Cool your Ryzen™ in complete silence with the Turing A50: Akasa’s latest fanless chassis

0

LONDON, ENGLAND, February 2021 – Akasa, a global leader in fanless technology, has extended their Turing fanless chassis design series by releasing the new Turing A50. The Turing A50 has been designed specifically to support the mainboards found inside the Asus Mini PC PN50 series, which features the latest AMD Ryzen™ 4000 notebook PC mobile processors in conjunction with Radeon™ graphics.

The Turing A50 is a product at the forefront of fanless technology and combines innovative style with solid functionality in order to create a contemporary Ryzen™ fanless system.

The Passive Cooler Case

The Asus Mini PC PN50 series can feature some of the latest AMD mobile processors: the Ryzen™ 3, 5, and 7. Whichever you choose, the Turing A50 will be able to keep the APU cool under all working conditions to optimize performance in complete silence. The case utilizes fanless technology, where the solid aluminum core that showcases hi-performance AK-TC5026 thermal compound and gap fillers, efficiently transfers heat from the APU.

With the chassis itself working as a heatsink, the excess heat from the APU is then transferred to the external fins via the aluminum core and into the surroundings, keeping the APU cool without the need for a noisy fan. Built with deep cooling fins to maximize the surface area and an aluminum casing, the system functions optimally whilst also existing as a completely silent component.

Design

The Turing A50 is yet another product from Akasa showing a combination of functionality with stunning composition; its symmetric extruding fins and diamond effect cover panels are all made from black anodized aluminum. The Turing A50 looks stylish and suits any environment due to its minimalist features.

The design team was inspired by Art Deco when designing the case, with the beautiful side panels influenced by traditional Chinese panels. The chassis can be positioned horizontally with dual-edge panels or vertically, allowing for more choice according to your taste.

Size

The Asus Mini PC PN50 series delivers exceptional processing power of a full-sized computer, whilst also being small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. The Turing A50 chassis maintains this compact manner and measures just 95 x 113.5 x 247.9 mm. This means the case can easily complement a home audio or cinema system on a shelf or desk. It can also be comfortably tucked into a drawer or mounted behind a screen, making it ideal for any environment.

Connectivity Maximised

The visit provided an opportunity for the FIFA President and his delegation to revisit the strong football history of Sudan

KHARTOUM, Sudan, February 22, 2021/ — Additional investment and commitment for further support were some of the key messages delivered by FIFA President Gianni Infantino on his visit to Khartoum, the Sudanese capital. The FIFA President notably met with the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Yousif Adam Aldai, and with the President of the Sudan Football Association (SFA), Kamal Shaddad.

The visit provided an opportunity for the FIFA President and his delegation to revisit the strong football history of Sudan. A founding member of CAF, along with Egypt, Ethiopia and South Africa, Sudan was CAF’s first headquarters, and also played host to the first-ever African Cup of Nations in 1957.

“Sudan was a founding member of CAF, and has been one of the first African nations to join FIFA,” the FIFA President said at Khartoum Stadium, the venue for the 1957 African Cup of Nations tournament. “Now we must work together, to bring the success of the past to the future. I can guarantee that FIFA will work closely with the whole football community in Sudan, with women and men, to continue to develop football and to bring Sudan back where it deserves to be, at the top of African football.”

The stadium visit was followed by a meeting with Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Yousif Adam Aldai, where central to discussions was the need to restore Sudan’s rich football heritage and the ways in which FIFA could best support the country to further develop and strengthen football through the FIFA Football for Schools programme, as well as providing funding to refurbish the Khartoum Stadium.

“I was saddened when I visited Khartoum Stadium and witnessed its current state,” the FIFA President said when subsequently speaking to members of the media. “This is an historical venue and we need to protect and cherish its history. We will invest and work together with the government and the SFA to make everyone in Sudan proud of the stadium again.”

“We spoke with the Chairman of the transitional sovereignty committee about investment in football, because there is incredible talent in the country to be developed,” the FIFA President added. “We spoke about football being part of the school system and about women’s and girls’ football – a very important area of the game. The Sudan Football Association is already doing excellent work in this regard, and it can only increase once combined with the continued support of the Sudanese government and FIFA. We are all part of the same team, and we will all work together and show that we care about the people of Sudan and football here.”

During the visit, the FIFA President also attended a women’s football training session at the academy located next to the SFA, and had the opportunity to meet with members of the teams.

Businesses can now manage the space on the drive by allocating storage on a need basis too. The storage space can be accessed through the mobile app for on the move file access. There is also a Chat (Instant Messaging) service to better facilitate intra team communication, very important in the present WFH situation.

Supermails email service comes with Email Archival, at no extra cost. Optionally, this can also be set up in the customer’s office, giving them the comfort of having all their data available with them, searchable.

Disney – Star Network is expected to soar ad rates by 25-30% for IPL 2021 after the mega-hit IPL 2020

IPL 2020 was a massive success, and the official broadcaster, Disney+ Hotstar, is thinking to soar that up. As per the reports, Disney Star India Network is already prepared to increase ad-rates by almost 25% for the IPL 2021.

Through some reliable sources, it is known that the Ad-Rates for the upcoming IPL 2021 can soar up to 14 to 15 Lakhs for just 10 Seconds. Also, it is worth mentioning that for IPL 2020, Star India was charging 12 Lakhs per 10 Second which will be increased by 25%.

The expected reasons for Disney and Star India for increasing the advertisement rate by 25-30% may be various reasons, like the previous edition of IPL 2020 gave super-duper and record-breaking television ratings. Also, the delay in the IPL 13 crossed the viewership of IPL 12 by 23% and a total viewership of 400 billion viewing minutes. Also as per the channel, IPL 2020 has witnessed an impressive viewership growth of 24 percent among women and 20 percent among children respectively. The advertising area has seen a soar of 4% in ad volumes, as per the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India.

The unparalleled success of the previous edition of the IPL 2020 has helped to increase IPL AD rates.

“As of now, talks are only between junior-level employees of agencies and Star. However, Star will initiate formal meetings and float prices only after the BCCI announces the final schedule and match rates will also differ as per days and schedules,” stated another senior media planner on this condition of secrecy.

The source further added up that Star Network has been making video calls frequently, presenting presentations, and trying to hike almost 33% from last season.

For the IPL 2020, Star signed up 18 sponsors prior to the tournament and also roped in 117 advertisers, among which the associate sponsors included Dream11, PhonePe, BYJU’S, VI, and Amazon, along with the co-presenting sponsors – Mondelez, ITC Foods, Polycab, Diageo, P&G, Coca Cola, Hero, Facebook, KP Group, Daily Hunt, Samsung, Cred, and AMFI.

The ad tariffs for last season, IPL 13, were Rs 12.5 lakh per 10 seconds, while on the other hand, ‘co-presenting sponsorships were sold for Rs 100-120 crore while ‘associate’ sponsorship was of a value of Rs 50-60 crore.

England fans to return to the stadium in May

0

Football could see spectators fill the stands once again, after the previous initiative to see people gather at sporting events was called off due to the rapid increase in Coronavirus cases and Britain being pushed into lockdown.

However, as confirmed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, fans could be back in the stands for the final day of the Premier League, scheduled to be held on May 23. The plans for allowing fans back into outdoor arenas will take place starting from May 17.

Manchester United 1 England fans to return to the stadium in May

About 4000 people will be allowed in outdoor venues while indoors are restricted to 1000. For the bigger grounds in the country, that number can be extended to a quarter of the total capacity or 10,000 people, whichever is lower.

While this is reason to be happy, fans will have to watch the EFL Cup final from home, which is set to be held on April 25 between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. The date for the cup final comes too soon for the rules to allow spectators in the stands.

Son Kane 1 England fans to return to the stadium in May

The FA Cup final, set to be held in July, could see fans return with life expected to be back to normal by that time. But the realisation of that phrase has been delayed time and time again.

All that said, it is appreciable that we will finally get to see faces in the stands. Boris Johnson’s cautious approach is also one that is the best possible solution given the current situation. Taking it slow and steady is undoubtedly the best approach to prevent another outbreak from happening and defeating the purpose of having the lockdown altogether.

Liverpool considering a player plus cash deal for Sevilla star Lucas Ocampos

Liverpool is considering a move for Sevilla winger Lucas Ocampos the next summer in a sensational swap deal.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is monitoring the progress of the Argentine. According to a report by La Razon, the German coach can offer a player plus cash deal involving Japanese international Takumi Minamino heading in the opposite direction to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Takumi Minamino is currently on loan at Southampton. The Japanese international was lacking his first-team opportunities limited at Liverpool in the first half of the season. For more game-time, he joined the Saints on loan last January.

Since his arrival at Anfield last season, after a blistering spell at Red Bull Salzburg, it was expected that he would continue to deliver the same in the Premier League. But he failed to impress Jurgen Klopp and others with his performance. He has made just 31 appearances for Liverpool and scored only 4.

On the other hand, Argentine winger Lucas Ocampos has impressed everyone with his performance. The 26 years old has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions for Julen Lopetegui’s side.

Sevilla has some big financial issues recently. So, they may sell some of their key players to solve the problems. Ocampos is one of their most saleable assets.

Ocampos has a £56m release clause in his contract with the Spanish side. Liverpool hopes to get their man by offering Minamino, who is valued at around £10m, with another £40m.

It will be gain for both the parties if the deal goes through.
