DXOMark is considered as an independent benchmark which tells you about the smartphones and cameras. They unveiled a new category of testing. This new category includes ranking smartphone displays. It has been added because smartphone displays always play one of the most important roles when we are using the device.
DXOMark takes into account six subcategories like legibility, artifacts, colour, video, motion, and touch. A new report has been released today which now includes Vivo X51 in the Display ranking list.
Vivo X51 was launched in the UK and Europe in October 2020. It received a DXOMark score of 87. This is a huge score for this Chinese smartphone as it ties them with the likes of iPhone 12 Pro and Galaxy S20 Ultra. All the three smartphones are on the third spot currently on the list. The best part is that Vivo X51 missed the first spot by only two points. Thus, it shows how highly rated this Vivo smartphone is.
The current first spot is held by Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with 89 points. According to the report, Vivo X51 lagged behind in Video and Touch categories. Due to these two sections, Vivo X51 ended up on the third spot. Another weaker spot is found related to brightness in the outdoors, though it still has a good blue light filter. Touch accuracy during gaming and lack of smoothness are the handset’s other shortcomings.
The handset has performed reasonably well indoor. It has good readability senses which help the device to thrive indoors. Apart from that, indoor brightness and motion-blur are two other pros of the mobile. Following are the display specs of the Vivo X51 smartphone.
Size: 6.56-inch
Dimensions: 158.5 x 72.8 x 8 mm
Type: AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate
Resolution: 1080 x 2376 pixels
The blue light filter which we talked about earlier is present in iPhone 12 Pro. It aided the users by making reading in the night more eye-friendly. Following are the display specs of the Vivo X51 smartphone.

Sony Pictures Network, who has been broadcasting the NBA in India since the last few years, has not yet renewed the deal. Other than this, FanCode who was also live streaming games last season will not be streaming NBA Games as of now.
The NBA’s reduced 72-game regular season began on December 22. The only way for Indian fans to catch the Live Streaming of the games is by buying an NBA LEAGUE PASS.
For the 2020-21 season, the official NBA app and NBA.com desktop site have been upgraded and the league has confirmed additional alternative streams for certain games within the NBA League Pass over-the-top (OTT) platform, interactive game overlays and an option to download matches to view offline.

‘Sideline Stream’ has returned after a successful run during the Orlando bubble. It includes popular alternate angles such as Courtside Cam and Rail Cam. ‘Influencers Stream’ has also been retained, which shows popular social media personalities present a weekly game on League Pass.
Lionel Messi has recently broken a long-standing record held by Pele for the most no of goals scored for a single club, 643 goals. Messi has now 644 goals for Barcelona. His record-breaking goal came via a thumping shot into the bottom corner against Jordi Masip of Real Valladolid.
Messi has scored his 644 goals against 160 goalkeepers. Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas conceded 17 goals from Lionel Messi while current Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak conceded 10 times.
"In this game, no goal is easy"
Which is why we’ve created a custom bottle for all 644 goals Leo Messi scored. Yes, that’s 644 unique bottles.
Budweiser, one of the prime sponsors of La Liga has taken an extra step in celebrating Messi’s record. They have made 644 unique bottles of beer. They are gifting the beer bottles which carries La Pulga’s picture in his trademark celebration pose, with the goal number that was scored against that goalkeeper.
.@budfootball… thanks for the beers.🍻 I’ll take it as a compliment. 😉 We have great battles over the years! Congratulations on breaking the 644 record #Messi! it really is an unbelievable achievement. Cheers! #BeAKing#adpic.twitter.com/Rvz2kSv23B
So this means, Casillas will receive 17 beer bottles in total with the respective goal numbers that Messi scored against him. Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has also received the gift. He has posted on social media taking it as a compliment.
Budweiser has played it just right. This has been one of the boldest move for celebrating Messi’s success on the field.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk thinks it’s a “good idea” to create a holding company above Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and The Boring Company according to a recent tweet he has replied to. Dave Lee, longtime Tesla shareholder, suggested that such a holding company could be simply known as “X”.
Musk once wound up in court when he entertained a change to his company via a suggestion on Twitter (largely baseless) to take Tesla private through “funding secured” from Saudi Arabia.
However, the idea here isn’t so baseless as it was only five years ago that Google surprise-announced a similar shakeup. The holding company Alphabet was created, and some of its bigger and bolder projects were split out into their own ventures alongside the search giant but still under that new umbrella.
Let’s have a think on what that would even look like if Elon Musk is entertaining something similar after thumbing through Twitter.
REPEATING THE ALPHABET STRUCTURE
Here’s what Google did, it created a new wholly-owned subsidiary called Alphabet and another underneath it called “Maple Technologies.” Maple and Google were then merged to create a new version of Google wholly owned by Alphabet. Following the Alphanet model roughly would be the most straightforward way for Musk to create X. The big difference here would be, Tesla, the only publicly-traded business of the bunch, does not contain SpaceX, Neuralink, and The Boring Company, these are all separate entities that exist outside of Tesla.
What about the stockholders? Google basically told them to sit tight while things are shaking up, and when it’s all done they’ll now own a slice of Alphabet worth the same amount.
The same could be done with Tesla by creating a subsidiary called “X,” then another merger entity underneath that, and then combine the merger entity with Tesla with Tesla stockholders transforming into equivalent shareholders of X, deal done.
PHILOSOPHICAL BARRIER
Well, not so fast, instead of just shuffling around other businesses like Google, X would probably have to acquire the other three private companies, SpaceX, Neuralink, and The Boring Company. As Musk is a majority owner of those companies, it wouldn’t be too difficult. The trouble here will be more philosophical
People believe in Tesla and its sock value is high but after it’s merged, how will people perceive X with all the companies combined? However, combining the four companies under X could help Musk further sell his futurist vision of making humanity run on sustainable energy and settling other worlds, etc.
Okay now let’s get weird.
MUSK BUYS TESLA
Musk kind of despises the fact that Tesla is a public company so going the Alphabet way doesn’t track well. Here’s what the Tesla CEO wrote when he tried to take the company private back in 2018:
As a public company, we are subject to wild swings in our stock price that can be a major distraction for everyone working at Tesla, all of whom are shareholders. Being public also subjects us to the quarterly earnings cycle that puts enormous pressure on Tesla to make decisions that may be right for a given quarter, but not necessarily right for the long-term. Finally, as the most shorted stock in the history of the stock market, being public means that there are large numbers of people who have the incentive to attack the company.
Would Musk really want to put SpaceX, Neuralink, and The Boring Company through the same kinds of pressures of prying eyes by folding them into a public holding company?
Probably not, so what’s the solution?
Make Tesla, the only public company of the three currently, private. Yep, run the whole “funding secured” experiment all over again, but not by the way of selling it off to Saudi Arabia, or Apple. Let’s get weirder.
HOW CAN BILLIONAIRE ELLISON HELP MUSK
Larry Ellison. Image: Trendrr
Here’s Musk’s situation if we consider what he needs to buy Tesla. He probably can’t come up with all the $600+ billion it would take to buy out Tesla at its current valuation. As the second richest man in the world, Musk values at $140 billion. Half his shares in Tesla are already pledged as collateral, and he has been limited to borrowing just 25 percent of the value of any additional shares by Tesla’s board members. We also cannot predict how much of his SpaceX shares are pledged as collateral. He would still somehow manage a fair-sized bite out of that $600 billion price tag by using his ownership in all four companies based on loans.
Musk would need a rich partner’s help. Seems like the least Larry Ellison, billionaire and Tesla board member, could do for Musk after he turned what was a modest investment into what is now many billions of dollars.
Musk would also maybe find a way for other loyal Tesla shareholders to be involved. Whatever alliance Musk brings about could just stand-in for X, buyout Tesla, and then bring the other companies into the fold.
SPAC X
Musk creates a SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company), that has been on the rise this year and calls it X. He kick-starts it with a lot of his own money (could be from leveraged Tesla and SpaceX shares). The stock price soars immediately once it starts trading because i) SPACs are just what excites people now, apparently, ii) it’s Elon Musk. SPAC X buys Tesla.
MARS STREET
Unsatisfied with merely theorizing what the laws should be on Mars, Musk establishes MSE, a stock market on Mars called the Mars Stock Exchange. Modeled on terrestrial stock exchanges, he can make some tweaks to reduce some of his least-favorite aspects (like the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the quarterly reporting rules.)
BITCOIN
Musk pulls off the unthinkable and reveals he’s bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. He sells all his coins for a fortune and buys Tesla.
There we have it, Musk’s few options on how to create the kind of world-beating conglomerate that only shows once in a while, even in the movies. It may be a long shot, but that’s the whole Elon Musk thing. No wonder he thinks it’s a “good idea.”
Dominik Szoboszlai recently made the switch from RB Salzburg to their sister club in the German Bundesliga, RB Leipzig. However, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio in their “Here We Go” podcast on Patreon, Arsenal were the closest to signing the player and were the frontrunners in the deal, making regular contact with his agent.
The deal, as is now clear, did not go through. One of the main reasons behind Szoboszlai choosing Leipzig over Arsenal was the presence of Julian Naagelsmann at the German club. The other prominent factor in him making the decision was Champions League football that Leipzig had regular access to.
Arsenal, on the other hand, look doubtful to even finish in a Europa League spot this season. Their performances have been below par, and the club is in dire need of a creative midfielder.
With so many expectations and so much tumult at the Emirates Stadium, Szoboszlai obviously chose the club that offered him the best football and the best environment for growth.
Fabrizio Romano maintained that the Hungarian youngster was respectful towards Arsenal and did not snub their advances. All that said, it is clear to see why the midfielder chose to compete in the Bundesliga for the next 4.5 years over the Premier League.
Mason Greenwood has not had the best start to the 20/21 season, but it is easy to forget that the player is still only a teenager. The youngster enjoyed a breakout campaign in first-team football with the 19/20 campaign, beating Wayne Rooney’s record for the most goals scored as a teenager.
The winger has been heralded by many veterans as the future of Manchester United’s attack, and rightfully so. His potential is unbelievable, especially given that he is a two-footed player and is equally dangerous with the ball at either foot.

Speaking on his future at the club, Franceso Porzio and Fabrizio Romano revealed that a contract extension for the Manchester United academy product was reportedly on the cards in the new year.
It was only a year ago that the club offered him a new deal. Greenwood’s current deal is set to run till 2023, and the board has the option to trigger a clause in his contract for an additional year.
Having only recently celebrated his 19th birthday, it is easy to get ahead of ourselves when the footballing world sees the talent that Mason Greenwood has to offer. But it is really important that the youngster is given time and is not burdened with the expectations of winning matches on his own yet.
Indian cricket legend, Sunil Gavaskar has raised his voice over the ill-treatment of Ashwin and Natarajan by the Indian cricket team management. He said there are “different rules for different players”.
Ashwin despite being a veteran cricketer is treated differently, while Natarajan has been made to stay in England as a net bowler without attending the birth of his first child despite Indian captain Virat Kohli getting paternity leave after the first Test.
Gavaskar wrote in his column for Sportstar: “For far too long Ashwin has suffered not for his bowling ability of which only the churlish will have doubts, but for his forthrightness and speaking his mind at meetings where most others just nod even if they don’t agree,”
“Any other country would welcome a bowler who has more than 350 Test wickets and not to forget four Test match centuries, too. However, if Ashwin doesn’t take heaps of wickets in one game he is invariably sidelined for the next one. That does not happen to established batsmen though. Even if they fail in one game they get another chance and another and another but for Ashwin the rules seem to be different,” he added.
Gavaskar was also upset with Natarajan being asked to stay back in England just as a net bowler.
He wrote: “Another player who will wonder about the rules but, of course, can’t make any noise about it as he is a newcomer. It is T Natarajan. The left-arm yorker specialist who made an impressive debut in the T20 and had Hardik Pandya gallantly offering to share the man of the T20 series prize with him had become a father for the first time even as the IPL playoffs were going on. He was taken to Australia directly from the UAE and then looking at his brilliant performances, he was asked to stay on for the Test series but not as a part of the team but as a net bowler. Imagine that,”
“A match winner, albeit in another format, being asked to be a net bowler. He will thus return home only after the series ends in the third week of January and get to see his daughter for the first time then. And there is the captain going back after the first Test for the birth of his first child. That’s Indian cricket. Different rules for different people. If you don’t believe me ask Ravi Ashwin and T Natarajan,” he further added.
Gavaskar was right in pointing about the “different rules for different players”. There’s should be a common rule for everybody and everyone should be treated equally.
The 34-year-old Indian midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh has signed a new deal with Odisha FC. As per a report by ‘Khel Now’, “Eugeneson Lyngdoh has put pen to paper for another Indian Super League outfit Odisha FC. The former India international will be part of the Juggernauts until the end of the 2020-21 season”
Yesterday, SC East Bengal released 7 Indian players. They are Balwant Singh, Gurtez Singh, Rafique Ali Sardar, Y. Lyngdoh, C. K. Vineeth, Samad Ali Mallik, Abhishek Ambedkar, Md. Irshad and Anil Chauhan. These players were free to join any other ISL club or I-League club on loan or in a permanent deal.
SC East Bengal head coach Robbie Fowler earlier revealed that he wants to see all the Indian players closely and the best among them will be in the squad. SC East Bengal was a 35 men squad at the start of the season. But Fowler wants to work with just 27-28 players in the rest of the season.
Yesterday SC East Bengal’s reserve team played against Bengaluru FC’s reserve team in a friendly match. This was a final test for all the Indian players to prove their worth. After the match, the SC East Bengal revealed the names of players who will be out of the team. Eugeneson Lyngdoh was one of them.
Today he secured his move to Odisha FC. Lyngdoh has faced a tough start to the season with SC East Bengal. He was sent off in the 24th minute against Jamshedpur FC. It will be interesting to see if he get back his form in a new team.
