AMD recently announced their mid-range GPU – the Radeon RX 6700 XT for 1440p gaming at max details, and now, as the availability date of March 18 is coming, we are getting more benchmarks of the GPU. We already know the last-gen RX 5700 XT was a value champion and widely loved by gamers, so the successor to that has to live up to the expectations.

To check that, @TUM_APISAK managed to grab the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark test results, also comparing it against its predecessor Radeon RX 5700 XT.
As we see at Crazy_1080p, the RX 6700 XT manages to grab 9300 points while its predecessor only grabbed 7400 points. Whereas at Crazy_1440p, the new GPU puts up a score of 8800 points while the RX 5700 XT scored only 6600 points, making the new RX 6700 XT around 25% faster in 1080p and 33% faster in 1440p.
Things go more in favor of the new card at 4K, thanks to the 12GB GDDR6 VRAM, at Crazy_4K, the RX 6700 XT manages to score 7600 points while the older RX 5700 XT only scores 5600 points. This makes the new AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT almost 35% better performer than the older RX 5700 XT.
The GPU-Z is a very important tool like the CPU-Z in detecting and debugging your graphics card. So, much like CPU-Z, the GPU-Z also shows the specs of the graphics card, features supported and some benchmarks as well.
A new tech called Resizable BAR support has been enabled on all of the recently launched GPUs that helps to increase gaming performance without having to sacrifice much. So, TechPowerUP’s new GPU-Z version will be able to tell you whether Resizable BAR is supported by the graphics card or not.
The GPU-Z version 2.38.0 will report this information on the main screen itself and interestingly, apart from announcing support for the already launched GPUs, the software even supports three unannounced graphics cards including AMD Radeon RX 6700 non-XT, RX 6600 XT, and RX 6600 non-XT.

The AMD Radeon RX 6700 (Non-XT) variant would feature 6 GB GDDR6 VRAM which is half the amount featured on the RX 6700 XT. But an earlier leak states that it will feature a higher memory capacity than the RX 6700 of 12 GB.
Though the Radeon RX 6700 has a cut-down GPU but will sport an increased memory size, which makes it a good 1080p and 1440p gaming solution. As we know, the AMD Radeon RX 6700 will be competing against the RTX 3060 12 GB while the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT will compete against the RTX 3060 Ti.
However, not much is known about the AMD Radeon RX 6600 series and it is being guessed that the XT variant will also feature Navi 22 GPU. The RX 6600 XT has already made its way to the EEC with 12GB memory and surely have a 192-bit memory bus.

Indian Woman’s Team skipper Mithali Raj becomes the first Indian Cricketer to score 10,000 runs in International cricket. She reached the feat on Friday after completing 35 runs in the 3rd ODI against South Africa.
Now, She is the second women’s cricketer in the world after England’s Charlotte Edwards to complete 10,000 landmark runs in international cricket. Former England skipper has scored 10,273 runs in his career. Mithali Raj is just 273 runs away from becoming the highest run-getter in Woman’s cricket.
Mithali Raj made her debut in 1999 against Ireland. The 38 years old has appeared in over 200 ODIs, 10 Tests, and 89 T20I matches. OnePlus has finally confirmed the launch of the most awaited OnePlus 9 series on March 23 globally. ASUS has been in the news lately after launching a powerful gaming smartphone series, the ASUS ROG Phone 5 series, just a day back. Now, we have an update of another device from the house of Asus. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) approved the two phones with model numbers ZS590KS and ZS672KS.
According to the reports, ZenFone 8 series smartphones will be the new series that might launch very soon. The reports suggest that the smartphone with model number ZS590KD, which is codenamed as Sake, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The device sports a 5.9-inch OLED panel and can have a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This device might be named the ZenFone 8 Mini. It might have a main camera of 64-megapixel Sony IMX686. The two other handsets were found to be codenamed PICASSO and VODKA. PICASSO has a ZS675KW model number.
It can sport a 6.75-inch screen. On the front side, it will feature a 24-megapixel OmniVision QV24B1Q lens. On the rear side, it might have a triple camera system with a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel camera, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 lens, and an 8-megapixel OV08A lens.
Though there is still no confirmation if this PICASSO handset is a part of the ZenFone 8 series handset. The camera module on the backside seems to be very similar to what was offered in the ZenFone 7 Pro. Thus, it might not follow the usual swivel camera system which was seen in the previous models.
The VODKA device is expected to be run by Snapdragon 888 mobile processor as said before and that is the only information we have about it currently. Though, these updates are still not official and have a good chance of not being fully true.

The introduction of VAR into football has made the sport a very different entity than what it was before. The two main impacts that the technology has had on football are:
Firstly, goals are not the same as before. Whenever a player scores, there is always the looming dread that the goal will be cancelled out either for a toenail being offside or for an accidental handball, which we will come to in a minute. The suspense that follows the goal and during the VAR check is something that has slowed the game down and made it a more annoying process than anything.

Secondly, penalties are being awarded more than ever before with almost one being conceded per game. Accidental handballs are not only ruling goals out, but also offering penalties to the opposition for defending players and even the slightest bit of contact is being given as a penalty.
The best change that could come to the VAR system being followed is the introduction of some consistency in the decision-making. Moreover, micing up the referees so that the audience has some reference behind their decision making is something that can add a very new and interesting dimension to the sport.
We do, of course, need an overhaul in what qualifies as a handball and what doesn’t. Offsides that depend on lines being drawn and examined for minutes on end should be done away with because if you have to search for it like a needle in a haystack, it’s probably not making a very big difference.
After being knocked out of the Champions League in the round of 16 for the second year straight, rumours have been doing the rounds in Italy linking Cristiano Ronaldo with an exit from Juventus. The main reason behind the rumours being that Juventus are finding it difficult to have Ronaldo’s wages on their books.
