Only one week is remaining until the Fortnite season 5 switches over, and now players are crazy for the new battle pass and new skins. Finally, Epic has announced officially the seasonal event that will take us into Season 6.
Epic informed that Fortnite Season 6 will begin on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Till now, there is no specific hour has been revealed, but we can assume that it will launch overnight similar to the previous updates.
This season’s event is not going to be like the previous times when players only had a single chance to witness some important development in the world of Fortnite. The single-player mission could see Jonesy resolve the entire interdimensional collapse of the real thing that’s been a constant theme this season.
We are assuming that the Fortnite Season 6 battle pass is going to cost the same amount as the previous one. You need to spend 2800 V-bucks to have the Season 6 battle bundle, but it will automatically boost your pass to level 25.
You can buy a small pack of 1000 V-bucks for $7.99. You can also buy 2800 V-bucks for $19.99. If you want the Fortnite Crew subscription service, you can have that for $11.99 per month and you’ll be able to keep the battle pass along with that we are getting 1000 V-bucks in a month and some exclusive cosmetics and skins.
According to a data miner, HYPERX shared some information that suggests that the NPCs scattered around the island may be teleported as a result of the Zero Point’s instability.
The latest AMD CPUs and Nvidia GPUs are the most viral things going around the internet these days, thus we are mostly hearing about their bottleneck capabilities. Hardware Unboxed, a YouTube channel stresses that its results only apply in CPU-heavy games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, where CPU performance affects framerates more so than in other triple-A titles.
The benchmarks were conducted only by using DX12, so here is the list of CPUs and GPUs that Hardware Unboxed used below.
CPU
AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Intel Core i3-10100
GPU
AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
AMD Radeon RX 6800
AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
Hardware Unboxed found that the RX 5700 XT achieves higher minimum and average FPS with low-end CPUs than NVIDIA’s high-end GPUs do when CPU limited. An FPS gulf of between 20% and 30% was observed in some games, but the Turing cards perform unexpectedly poorly when CPU bound.
The difference between AMD and NVIDIA cards is stated because that NVIDIA’s driver requires more CPU cycles to function than AMD’s driver, which results in higher CPU utilization. The requirements of more cycle are not the problem for powerful CPUs but severely affects less powerful ones from both Intel and AMD.
So the bottleneck issues might change some people’s minds looking to buy new Graphics, but rest assured. The findings of Hardware Unboxed may only apply to those who are considering upgrading their GPU but still have a mid-range CPU that is a few generations old.
According to recent sources, Tuxedo Computers, a Schenker / XMG subsidiary from Germany, offers its latest Linux-powered laptops with Intel CPUs and Nvidia RTX 3000 GPUs. The laptops are dubbed as the new Book XP15 and XP17 models. The laptop could have benefitted from AMD’s Ryzen 5000 APUs, but the inclusion of Intel’s Comet Lake-H is also a good choice, but it will make the laptop a little pricey.
Sources indicate that both the machines are 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch models and have almost similar specs. Here is a list with the shared specs:
Intel Core i7-10870H CPU
Up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM

73 Wh battery
The 15.6-inch model will get a 144 Hz FHD IPS panel with G-SYNC compatibility and a 4K OLED with a 60 Hz refresh.
The 17.6 variant on the other hand only gets a 4KIPS screen with 60 Hz refresh. The 15.6-inch model can also be equipped with an RTX 3060 Max-Q GPU with max 105 W TGP.
The German laptop maker will sell the XP15 model starting at ~$1,900 with base configurations including 8 GB RAM, 250 GB NVMe storage, 144 Hz FHD display, and an RTX 3060 Max-Q. The XP17 starts at ~$2,200 with the default configuration including the 144 Hz FHD IPS screen and an RTX 3070 Max-Q GPU.

Crysis has been revamped and relaunched as the Crysis Remastered for quite some time now, however, the new PC Update 2.1 brings significant changes and improvements to the game.
The biggest addition to the game has to be the new NVIDIA DLSS support which can heavily impact the game’s performance on NVIDIA’s RTX 20 and 30-series GPUs.
Crytek’s CryEngine is one of the most advanced game engines ever developed that provide stunning visuals at the cost of GPU horsepower, however, with the introduction of NVIDIA DLSS. At least GeForce gamers can get free performance enhancements, but up to how much is still unknown as we have got no confirmation from NVIDIA on this.
DLSS by Nvidia has now been added to Crysis Remastered.

Juventus is ready to accept just £25 million for Cristiano Ronaldo as the Italian side wants to get rid of the superstar following their recent Champions League exit.
Cristiano Ronald’s future is in the centre of attention in the last few days as Juventus was knocked out of the Champions League by Porto. Juventus have been the victims of three giant killings in a row. In 2018-19 they lost to Ajax in the quarterfinal. Last season they were beaten by Lyon and this season Porto.
Juventus is also not having a great time in the domestic league as well. They are now 3rd in the table, 10 points behind the leaders’ Inter Milan. After winning 9 straight Serie A titles win this can be the first season when they lose the title.
In this circumstance, Juventus is trying to find a way to get ‘rid’ of the Portuguese talisman. Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes recently revealed that Ronaldo was offered to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United. But both the teams refused to spend a huge amount on the Portuguese.
But if his asking price drops down, then they can join the race to sign him as well. However, Jorge Mendes is also holding talks with Real Madrid over a sensational return.
However, Ronaldo has one year left in his contract. Juventus CEO Fabio Patratici in an interview said, “Fortunately, there is still a year on Ronaldo’s contract, so we have time to talk to him. That’s not a priority right now.”
What will be the next destination of the superstar? The time will give us the answer.

Facebook and Apple have been in a war of words for quite some time now with Apple CEO Tim Cook, as well as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg openly criticizing each others’ companies, no holds barred. Head of WhatsApp, Will Cathcart, is the latest from the Facebook camp to slam Apple as he didn’t have good words for the iPhone maker while speaking on the ‘Big Technology Podcast’.
Cathcart criticized Apple by saying that their private labels are discriminatory. “I assume it’s in Apple’s interest to have everyone using an iPhone; I mean, obviously, it is. And you look at a place like the U.S., most people have an iPhone, and the messaging experience works better on iMessage if everyone else has an iPhone,” said Cathcart, according to Gadgets Now. “It’s certainly in their strategic interest that people not use something like WhatsApp because they want people not to use an Android phone,” he added.
Earlier this year, Apple rolled out its new privacy labels which claimed WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger collect a lot more data compared to other top messaging apps. Reportedly, the Facebook Messenger app has 65 different privacy labels which include product personalization, third-party advertising, app functionality, and “other purposes,” while WhatsApp has 16 labels.
When asked about these privacy labels, Cathcart said, “Regardless of whatever the purpose of the labels was, we compete with iMessage from Apple, we compete in the U.S. — where way more people use iMessage than use WhatsApp — we compete in a bunch of places around the world. You don’t see a label for iMessage when you download it because you don’t download it; it’s on your phone, to begin with. And so, we were critical of that.”
As for what phone he prefers and uses himself, Cathcart said that it is Android because of Whatsapp’s “android heavy” user base. ” I also use an iPad, I’ve used iPhones for many years, but I really want to actually use the product in the way most people are using it, so I use an Android. A lot of people use both or go back and forth because we’re building our products for both and you got to understand them all.”

In the last week, we have seen many new smartphones being launched. Especially, we have seen gaming smartphones taking the central stage and attracting everyone. Two such handsets are ASUS ROG Phone 5 Ultimate and Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro. Globally it is a fight between the two best Gaming Smartphones launched this year now. After the launches, we witnessed something more than just the battle of powerful flagship chipsets. The companies are now focusing on the user experience from both hardware and software perspectives. So, let’s find which is the better gaming phone for the users.
Display
ASUS ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is a limited edition device that flaunts a 6.78-inch AMOLED type screen and comes with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. Nubia’s Red Magic 6 Pro sports a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with an even higher refresh rate of 165 Hz. With this, Red Magic 6 became the first smartphone in the world to come with a refresh rate of as high as 165 Hz.
Processor
Both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC which is the strongest non-Apple chipset. Nothing to compare here. ASUS’s smartphone has a RAM of 18 GB and internal storage of 512 GB. Nubia Red Magic Pro comes with multiple variants of storage but its transparent edition is coupled with the same magnificent RAM of 18 GB and internal storage of 512 GB.
Camera
ASUS ROG Phone 5 features a triple camera setup at the back-side with a 64 MP Primary Camera along with a 13 MP Ultra-wide Angle Camera and a 5 MP macro sensor. Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro has a similar triple camera setup with a 64 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2 MP macro lens. It offers a single 8 MP selfie shooter at the front which is weaker when compared to the 24 MP front-snapper of ASUS ROG Phone 5.
Battery and Fast Charging
ROG Phone 5 draws energy from a massive 6,000mAh battery cell and is paired with a 65W fast-charging support. In comparison to this, Red Magic 6 Pro draws power from a smaller 4500mAh battery and is paired with a 120W fast charging support. Due to a much weaker battery cell, ASUS’ device lures us in this domain which is very important from the gaming perspective.
ASUS ROG Phone 5 has trigger buttons at shoulders as well as at the rear side of the device. We can also spot a mini display which can help the gamers to view while they are using the smartphone for playing games. There is also a grip detection sensor and an ultrasonic sensors for AirTrigger 5. Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro has the power button and the volume rocker on the right side of the handset. Apart from this, it has an optical fingerprint sensor.
Price
Nubia Red Magic Pro comes with these three variants and prices.
12GB + 128GB – CNY 4,399 (~Rs. 49,500)
12GB + 256GB – CNY 4,799 (~Rs. 53,999)
16GB + 256GB – CNY 5,299 (~Rs. 59,600)
The transparent edition of this Pro model comes with 16GB + 256GB and 18GB + 512GB cost CNY 5,599 (Rs 63,070) and CNY 6,599 (Rs 74,300) respectively.
ASUS ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Edition (18GB & 512GB) will cost Rs 79,999. This is way more expensive than what Nubia is offering. Thus, if you are a gamer but have a budget not that high, Red Magic Pro will be a better option as per the prices.
Our Thoughts
Clearly, with a bigger screen and higher refresh rate, Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro offers a better display when compared to ASUS ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Edition due to the higher refresh rate. There’s not much to separate them on the basis of the processor. In terms of optics and battery, ASUS ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Edition is a better option for the users.
Even though ROG Phone 5 is a bit expensive considering the same 18 GB variant, we believe that for any gaming smartphone, battery specs are very important. Also, the refresh rate of 144Hz is not bad at all. Thus, we prefer ASUS ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Edition. But do make your own analysis because the fight here is too close and it will depend on different individuals what they want.
