An Indian Cricket Captain, a Sports Lover, a adorable person, a child-lover…what more? Well Virat Kohli has made himself a brand face and a huge sports person whom world can never forget. His story :

Kohli has come a long way now — from leading the country’s U-19 team to World Cup glory back in 2008 to leading India’s charge in dominating the world of cricket in all forms of the game.

 

Born and raised in Delhi, Kohli represented the city’s cricket team at various age-group levels before making his first-class debut in 2006. He captained India Under-19s to victory at the 2008 Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia, and a few months later, made his ODI debut for India against Sri Lanka at the age of 19. Initially having played as a reserve batsman in the Indian team, he soon established himself as a regular in the ODI middle-order and was part of the squad that won the 2011 World Cup. He made his Test debut in 2011, and shrugged off the tag of “ODI specialist” by 2013 with Test hundreds in Australia and South Africa. Having reached the number one spot in the ICC rankings for ODI batsmen for the first time in 2013, Kohli also found success in the Twenty20 format, winning the Man of the Tournament twice at the ICC World Twenty20 (in 2014 and 2016). In 2014, he became the top-ranked T20I batsman in the ICC rankings and holds the position, as of May 2017.

Kohli was appointed vice-captain of the ODI team in 2012, and handed over the Test captaincy following Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Test retirement in 2014. In early 2017, he became the limited-overs captain as well after Dhoni stepped down from the position. Kohli holds numerous Indian batting records including the fastest ODI century, the fastest batsman to 5,000 ODI runs and the fastest to 10 ODI centuries. He is only the second batsman in the world to have scored 1,000 or more ODI runs for four consecutive calendar years. Among the T20I world records held by Kohli are fastest batsman to 1,000 runs, most runs in a calendar year and most fifties in the format. He also holds the records of most runs in a single tournament of both the World Twenty20 and the IPL.

What sets his Team India apart is his insistence on fitness from his players. As the captain of the team, he leads by example and his obsession with fitness is no secret. The 29-year-old captain spends hours at the gym, watches what he eats and expects his men to do the same.

According to Kohli, football is his second favourite sport. In 2014, Kohli became a co-owner of Indian Super League club FC Goa. Cricket’s not going to last forever and I’m keeping all my options open after retirement.”

In November 2014, Kohli and Anjana Reddy’s Universal Sportsbiz (USPL) launched a youth fashion brand WROGN. The brand started to produce men’s casual wear clothing in 2015 and has tied up with Myntra and Shopper’s Stop. In late 2014, Kohli was announced as a shareholder and brand ambassador of the social networking venture ‘Sport Convo’ based in London.

It was reported in 2013 that Kohli’s brand endorsements were worth over ₹100 crore. His bat deal with MRF is said to be the costliest deal in Indian cricket history. In 2017, he signed an eight-year endorsement deal with Puma worth about ₹110 crore, becoming the first Indian sportsperson to sign a ₹100 crore deal with a brand.

In 2014, American Appraisal estimated Kohli’s brand value at US$56.4 million placing him fourth on the list of India’s most valued celebrity brands. The same year, UK-based magazine SportsPro rated Kohli as the second most marketable athlete in the world behind only Lewis Hamilton, placing him above the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Usain Bolt. In an October 2016 report by Duff & Phelps on India’s most valued celebrity brands, Kohli’s brand value was estimated to be US$92 million, second only to that of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.

Need a Camera Based Smart Phone? Mi A1 Might Fulfill Your Needs

Hey folks!, TechnoSports here, is back again with another review of the newly launched Xiaomi’s Redmi Mi A1. This smartphone was launched by Xiaomi with the collaboration of Google. The most exciting part of this device is that it does not run on the typical MI UI as Xiaomi smartphones are known of but it runs on pure stock android. The Xiaomi Mi A1 represents the reboot of the Android One project. And, developing this device was also a part of the above said project and it truly is the future of Android One, which makes it clear that the project is no longer just about for entry-level phones.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 has been heavily marketed as created by Xiaomi and powered by Google at the launch event. The Mi A1 has already been guaranteed to receive an update to Android 8.0 Oreo by the end of this year. Also it will be receiving an update to Android P within the said time or in the early 2018. The Mi A1 appears to have decent specifications for its price. The dual cameras are a great addition which not only enhances the looks of this device but makes it look like a flagship device having premium design features.

This phone comes in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold colours. The front display panel boasts of 2.5D curved-edge Gorilla Glass, which makes the phone feel look premium. The rounded chamfered edges and corners provides a decent fit in a ones hand (even though it gives a bit of a slippery kind of feel without any back cover or case). So go and get a case for it and pop it in and you r good to go!, and the 7.3mm side profile gives it sleek appearance.

A1, A Copy of iPhone 7?

It is very much a look alike of the Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus due to the very similar kind of camera placement, the antennae lines and the fingerprint sensor on the back of the Mi A1. There are capacitive Android navigation buttons below the screen. The power and volume buttons have a good tactile feel, and are placed on the right where they are easily accessible with the thumb or any finger depending on which hand you are using the phone with. The hybrid dual-SIM tray is on the left, while an IR Blaster is placed on top.

The bottom has a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The fingerprint scanner is located at the back, and it works well. The dual cameras protrude slightly from the rear, and are accompanied by a dual tone LED flash. There’s no branding at the front but you will find the Mi logo on the lower back, along with an Android One logo.

Camera Review :

The dual cameras on the Xiaomi Mi A1 makes up one of its biggest features. Thanks to the two different lenses, the company claims you can get 2x optical zoom and blurred backgrounds. Starting off with the depth mode, we were able to take some great samples with bokeh effects. Most of our portrait shots had clearly defined edges but some did manage to overdo the blurring. Colours are natural and edges were defined well when there was adequate light, but this took a hit in low light. No manual effort is required, and the effect does work pretty good in this device of this budget oriented price range. Autofocusing on the Mi A1 is quick, and is mostly accurate even in different light conditions.

We noticed ample amount of noise in the evening and night time shots, even with light sources around. In completely dark spots, the Mi A1 struggled a lot and most of the photos were indistinct despite the autofocus working well. Xiaomi claims that the Mi A1’s camera app has a low-light enhancement feature, but we didn’t find
any differences with it enabled. The 5-megapixel front camera took some good selfies in good light, and details were fairly good. Selfies taken at night were almost completely dark without some kind of light source around.

Overall, the Mi A1’s dual cameras are a great feature to have at this price point, and results won’t usually disappoint you. Low-light performance, however, needs a lot of work.

The speaker output is really very very good. It’s loud and clear and the headphone output through the 3.5 mm headphone jack has completely BLOWN us away in the first attempt, even without using any kind of top of the line premium, paid Music Players, not even with the Graphic Equalizer ON!!.The output is phenomenal!!. It can drive heavy headphones of high impedances (greater than 16 ohm like of the 300ohm range) like of that of the AUDIO TECHNICA, SHURE, AKG, etc. If Xiaomi had claimed it to be the MUSIC PHONE, it would have really made a remarkable sense all all the audiophiles out there!. The 3080mAh battery in the Mi A1 lasted for roughly 15 hours with heavy usage.on having Outlook, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Telegram, Gmail, and WhatsApp running in the background at all times and it managed to run for near about 11 hours on a daily basis depending on how extensively you use the smart phones.

Especially Dhoni was finding it difficult to time the ball & started a slow innings later he hit many boundaries & over boundaries, but it was not enough.

Tottenham topped their group and sealed passage into the Champions League knockout stages as Dele Alli inspired a 3-1 win over Real Madrid on a magical night at Wembley. On a night where the Champions League holders were well off the pace, Spurs humiliated the European champions. After the launch of iPhone 8, Google has finally brought the Google Pixel 2. Google Pixel will be available from November 2017(1st of the month for Indian customers). You might get confused which 1 to buy so we have brought you the best between the 2 of them. Excited to know who has won the battle? Well then let’s start off the battle :

Design :

Well none of them look astonishing, but in comparison with Pixel 2, iPhone is much better in looks. Due to the all-glass backs iPhone 8 is more elegant, also they support wireless charging too.

The Pixel 2 measures 5.7 x 2.7 x 0.3 inches and weighs 5.01 ounces, while the iPhone 8 is 5.5 x 2.7 x 0.29 inches and weighs 5.22 ounces. So Google gets points here for delivering a bigger 5-inch screen (versus 4.7 inches) in a lighter design.

The Pixel 2 XL delivers a 6-inch screen in a 6.2 x 3 x 0.3-inch package that weighs 6.2 ounces, while the iPhone 8 Plus (6.24 x 3.1 x 0.3 inches, 7.13 ounces) is taller and wider and heavier, despite having a smaller 5.5-inch screen.

Plus, both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are capable of taking Portrait shots that blur out the background from both the front and back cameras, thanks to advanced post processing. iPhone 8’s advanced 12 MP rear camera packs a larger and faster sensor, a new color filter, deeper pixels, and optical image stabilization for photos and videos. The camera enables digital zoom up to 5x. Also the iPhone 8 Plus can do portraits with its dual back cameras.

The Pixel 2 has beaten i[hone 8 in this segment. With its 2700 mah battery, it lasts much longer than the Apple’s beast. According to Tom’s Guide Battery Test, which involves continuous web surfing over LTE, the Pixel 2 lasted 11 hours and 7 minutes, and the Pixel 2 hit 12:09.

At the end of the day Pixel 2 lasts longer.

Shikhar Dhawan(68 of 84) & dinesh Kartick(64 of 92) scored half centuries each and lead India to the victory.

India’s opener Shikhar Dhawan’s innings consisted of 5 fours and 2 sixes. Dinesh Kartick scored 64 with 6 fours and remained not out. At the end the partnership of Dhoni and Kartick tookIndia past the target runs.

Bhuvneswar kumar took 3 wickets with an economy of 4.5 . Chahal and Bumrah took 2 wickets each.
