Release Date and Timing

Epic Games has a clear pattern of dropping such collaborations on the same day as major film premieres, and the Fantastic Four crossover is expected to follow this trend. With The Fantastic Four: First Steps being released to theaters on July 25, 2025, we expect the skins to be added to Fortnite’s item shop on that same day.

This timing makes perfect sense for Epic Games’ marketing strategy, as they’ve successfully launched similar collaborations with other Marvel properties to coincide with major entertainment releases.

What Makes These Skins Special

The Fantastic Four skins aren’t just regular cosmetics—they’re packed with unique features that reflect each character’s powers. Reed Richards’ “Fantastic Calculations” shows a different animation when equipped, while other characters have their own signature elements that bring their comic book abilities to life.

These attention-to-detail touches show Epic Games’ commitment to creating authentic Marvel experiences within Fortnite, similar to their successful Spider-Man and X-Men collaborations.

Pricing and Availability

While exact pricing hasn’t been revealed, the price for each bundle is still unknown. Based on previous Marvel collaborations, we can expect individual bundles to range from 1,500 to 2,000 V-Bucks, with a potential discount for purchasing all four characters together.

The skins will likely be available through the official Fortnite Item Shop and may feature limited-time availability, making them highly sought-after collectibles for Marvel fans.

Perfect Timing for Marvel Fans

This crossover comes at an exciting time for Marvel enthusiasts. With the MCU’s Fantastic Four reboot generating massive buzz and Fortnite’s current superhero-themed season, the collaboration feels like a natural fit that will satisfy both gaming and comic book communities.

The leaked skins represent more than just cosmetics—they’re a celebration of Marvel’s First Family finally joining the Battle Royale universe in style. Whether you’re a longtime comic fan or just love collecting rare Fortnite skins, this crossover promises something special for everyone.
