According to Variety, which corroborated an earlier exclusive from Nexus Point News, Hemsworth has dropped out of Paramount’s new G.I. Joe reboot, where he had been attached in a lead capacity. Fellow MCU star Bradley Cooper, the voice of Rocket Raccoon, is reportedly being eyed to take over the role of Duke. The film is positioned as a full reboot separate from earlier live-action entries.

Why Thor Fans Are Nervous?

The timing has fueled speculation about Thor’s fate. He’s one of the few original Avengers left, and promo material for Avengers: Doomsday heavily features him, including a key clash with Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom.
