First legit Intel Core i9-11900K Geekbench result spotted, blows away in single-core

0

It’s not the first time we have had spotted Intel’s upcoming 8-core flagship CPU in action but this time, the Geekbench result seems more accurate than ever. The results are incredible and way beyond what we have saw in past couple of weeks.

The 8 core, 16 threaded CPU has a max all-core boost of 4.8GHz and 3.5GHz base clock speeds whereas the single-core boost goes up to a whopping 5.3GHz. Until now it was spotted on Cinebench, CPU-Z, Ashes of Singularity benchmarks but this is the first time it has made entry to Geekbench.

The Core i9-11900K has blown the competition scoring a massive 1892 points in single-core and a pretty impressive 10934 points in multi-core. This is the highest single-core score ever and this could definitely end AMD’s short term dominance in gaming market.

While in multi-core scores, the Core i9-11900K just manages to beat the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X by a narrow margin which scores 10427 points. Overall, the upcoming Intel flagship looks crazy on paper while the single-core results are just mind-blowing!

Players Facing Issues During Transferring Content of Hitman 2 into Hitman 3, IO Interactive is Working On The Situation

0

IO Interactive is much busy currently facing the progress requests of Hitman 2 to Hitman 3. If it shows, your request “fails,” then it could be actually put in a queue, and in the processing of IO, you’ll have to wait for an unspecified time period.

The most attractive part of Hitman 3 is to insert your game progress from Hitman 2, including cosmetic goodies, location mastery XP, profile rank, and completed challenges. To do the carryover, you need to sign up for an IO account, then log in to a special website to transfer your Hitman 2 progress. But now, the transfer isn’t working properly because of massive traffic. IO Interactive is working hard to solve this issue.

This is not the first controversy related to transferring the content of older Hitman to Hitman 3. There was a problem for those who are playing the PC version of Hitman 3. For importing the levels of Hitman 2, they would have to rebuy the game. But later IO announced that they are solving the issues with Epic.

Here is the official description of the game:

“Hitman 3 is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy, taking players around the world on a globetrotting adventure to sprawling sandbox locations, with Agent 47 returning for the most important contracts of his career. Supported by his Agency handler, Diana Burnwood, Agent 47 joins forces with his long-lost friend Lucas Grey. Their ultimate mission is to eliminate the partners of Providence, but they are forced to adapt as their hunt intensifies. When the dust settles, 47 and the world he inhabits will never be the same again.”

“Featuring six meticulously detailed locations packed full of creative opportunities, Hitman 3 gives players the unrivalled freedom to complete their objectives in a game world that reacts to everything they do. All of this is made possible by IOI’s award-winning Glacier technology, which powers Hitman 3’s immersive game world to offer unparalleled player choice and replayability.”

Hitman 3 is available now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia.

Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the highest official goalscorer in football history

0

Cristiano Ronaldo is now the highest official goalscorer in football history. The Portuguese sensation has achieved the feat after the brace against Napoli in the Italian Super Cup final as Juventus won their first trophy of this season.

Ronaldo has scored 760 goals in his career and broke the record of late Josef Bican’s 758. The Portuguese sensation broke the record in the 64th minute with a close-range finish.

As the first half ended in 0-0, Juventus start to press to put pressure on Napoli. In the 64th minute, they broke the deadlock as Cristiano Ronaldo his 759th goal. He scored his second in the 78th minute and put Juventus in a comprehensive lead.

Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut in 2002 for Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese have scored 5 in his 31 appearances for them. He moved to Manchester United in 2003. In 292 appearances for Red Devils, he has scored 118 goals. In 2009 he moved to Real Madrid and spent 9 years in Spain. There he scored 450 goals in his 438 appearances. Intense competition on MiniLED TVs in 2021 as companies try to attract more customers

Just like the revolution happening in the smartphone industry, companies are willing to spread that innovation into the Television industry as well. MiniLED TV seems to be the future on which many companies are betting. We had already seen the world’s top three TV manufacturers revealing their MiniLED TV sets at CES 2021 to attract more customers.

Before discussing how the companies are planning to launch their products, we first have to talk that what are MiniLED TVs. MiniLED is just like other LCD TVs just that it features tiny LEDs for backlighting. The size of these LEDs is between 100 to 200 micrometers.

Also Read: Top Deals on Apple iPhones in Amazon Great Republic Day Sale

The conventional LEDs which are used in TVs are sized around 300 micrometers. Thus, these new LEDs are much smaller than the earlier ones. Smaller these LEDs, highly beneficial it is for the TVs. This is because it enables a better contrast ratio. It also helps in dimming deeper black on LCD panels.

In all, we can say that the revolution in the LCD domain will match the performance of OLED panels. In CES 2021, Samsung launched its Neo QLED, micro-LED, and lifestyle TV display panels, and the sales of this are expected to start from March 2021. The Neo QLED will have 4K and 8K resolutions.

With over 30,000 MiniLEDs, LG also launched its QNED TV in the last month of 2020. We can see as many as four variants in this. They can be 86 inches, 90 inches, 95 inches, and a 99 inches model. TCL was also quick to come out with its 3rd Gen MiniLED TV, the OD Zero, at CES 2021. This is expected you be available only after July of this year. Reports also show that the sales of MiniLED TVs will surpass the sales of OLED TVs as soon as 2024.

Liverpool lose at Anfield for the first time since 2017

0

The bad run continues for Liverpool. Liverpool lost at Anfield for the first time since April, 2017 in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s men were defeated by Burnley by 1-0.

Jurgen Klopp has made some changes in the team after the draw against the rival Manchester United. Divock Origi got his first Premier League to start this season last night. But he missed an open net.

In the 83rd minute, Burnley got a penalty and Ashley Barnes tucked that home without any mistake.

Liverpool tried to get back in the game and registered 27 shots in the game but failed to beat Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope. Burnley defender Ben Mee also had an excellent game last night.

Liverpool has faced difficulties in scoring goals in the last few games. They failed to score in the last 4 games and a total of 438 minutes without a goal. This is the first time in 21 years they have gone four league games without a goal. They are 4th in the table with 34 points. They are now 6 points behind the league leaders Manchester United.

After the match Jurgen Klopp took the responsiblity of the loss. He said, “We lost the game which is pretty impossible but we did it.”

“That is my fault. It is my job to make sure the boys have the right feelings and confidence. That didn’t work out.”

“We had the ball a lot and created some situations that are OK but our final decision is not right. I said the same thing last week. When something doesn’t work you must try harder, longer and more often and make better decisions. It didn’t work tonight.”

Samsung is ready to bring 90Hz OLED Laptop Display in 2021

0

Samsung Display is one of the biggest display manufacturer across the globe and as the industry is always setting new standards, the South Korean giant has always more to offer for its partners and customers.

Samsung makes one of the best OLED displays and no one can deny it but OLEDs on laptops haven’t been seen more often than not. So, Samsung Display has announced recently that it will mass-produce the world’s first 90Hz OLED laptops in the first quarter of this year.

Samsung Display Chief Executive Officer Joo Sun Choi said that the company will initially produce very large quantities of 14-inch, 90Hz OLED displays destined for laptops and notebooks, beginning in March.

“OLED display panels can best satisfy the diverse consumer needs for laptops used in telework, online education, video streaming, and gaming,” the company said.

Samsung Display has tested the blur length using the same motion picture of a fast-driving car and found that the image drag of 90Hz OLED and 120Hz high refresh rate LCD screens is 0.9mm and 1mm, respectively. In short, 90Hz OLED screens smear amazingly little, at practically the same rate as a 120Hz LCD.

This is one step forward by Samsung and as OLED displays get more attention, we will definitely see more high-end laptops adopting a 90Hz OLED Laptop Display. This eventually will result in better viewing as well the smoothness of the 90Hz refresh rate on a laptop.

Also, this can reduce the price of OLED displays for laptops down the years as LCDs have stayed quiet for some time. The smartphone industry is shifting to OLED and it’s high time that laptop manufacturers shift to OLED Laptop Displays preferably by Samsung, starting from 2021.
