Finally, the wait is over, today Apex Legend Season 8 is going to release, and it includes the new exciting character, some map changes, and many more. The last season introduced a character named ‘Horizon’ and a new map, ‘Olympus’. Take a look at all those updates and changes about Season 8.

Apex Legends Season 8 Release Date

February 2 is the release date of the 8th season of Apex Legends. As soon as the previous season ends, a new season of Apex Legends begins every time.

The design director at Respawn, Jason McCord has told that finally the damage trackers will be included in Season 8. Players were asking for this feature in recent months.

New Character in Season 8

The new legend to join the game, is Fuse, an explosive expert. He carries one extra grenade in each inventory slot and able to shoot them faster and further. This character’s tactical ability is to launch a series of cluster mines that splinter into multiple small bombs and hits enemies in a large area. His ultimate ability is called the Motherlode and unleashes a bombardment that encircles the target area in a flames wall.

You will find some similarities in Fuse with Bangalore who also carries a grenade launcher. Having the increased velocity and range of throwing grenades, it looks like, Fuse’s teammates are going to feed all their explosives to him.

New Weapon

In this season, a new weapon will be added to the gallery, which is the 30-30 Repeater. This weapon is compatible with heavy ammo and deals a lot of damage in each shot. This 30-30 Repeater reloads one round at a time.

Map Updates

As we have seen in the trailer that Kings Canyon is going to get some changes. Now the players who snipe well can go up to the observation towers with the crashed ship’s zip-lines.

The bunkers are replaced with Explosive Holds, which contains many higher tier attachments, weapons, and ammo. The Slum Lakes are also destroyed. Now there you’ll find Spotted Lakes.

Anniversary Collection

According to a well-known data miner, Shrugtal has tweeted that there will come an anniversary collection in Season 8. It seems that the developers are bringing back some classic Apex Legends skins from the past seasons, but with the new colours.

Apple has commenced beta testing for iOS 14.5, and whereas the iOS 14.4 release was mostly about bug fixes and not a lot of feature changes, this version brings several welcome improvements. You’ll get the long-awaited App Tracking Transparency feature, the ability to unlock your iPhone with your Apple Watch, and also AirPlay support for Fitness+.

On February 1, the iPhone maker released the first developer beta, and the public beta is expected to follow within soon. We will probably see the final release happen sometime in February.

What’s new in iOS 14.5

App Tracking Transparency

Apple’s long-advertised App Tracking Transparency feature will have its groundwork laid in this version of the iOS. Simply put, whenever applications want to track your activities outside the app, your iPhone will now require them to ask for permission (through a standard iOS prompt). Most users are unaware that many apps track activities across other apps or websites. The practice is not being blocked by Apple, it is merely requiring informed consent just as it does for, say, location access.

AirPlay 2 support for Fitness+

Apple’s new fitness subscription service can only be used on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV and not on a Mac or any other smart TV. With iOS 14.5, you can overcome this setback by streaming workouts from your iPhone or iPad to an AirPlay 2 supported device. This will make the service a lot less restrictive as there are lots of TVs that support AirPlay 2 these days. You won’t see your real-time metrics on screen, but that’s a relatively small price to pay.

Unlock iPhone with Apple Watch

Face ID is great, but the global COVID-19 pandemic and the constant mask-wearing have exposed an obvious flaw—when half your face is covered up it doesn’t work. With iOS 14.5 (and watchOS 7.4), you have the option to automatically unlock your iPhone when you’re wearing an unlocked Apple Watch.

To use this feature, go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and toggle on the “Unlock with Apple Watch”. For this to work, you’ll have to be wearing your Apple Watch which must be protected with a passcode and unlocked. Then, when Face ID sees you’re wearing a mask, it will unlock with your Apple Watch. You’ll feel a quick double-tap on the watch haptics and an “Unlocking with Apple Watch” message will show up on your iPhone screen. This cannot be used to authenticate Apple Pay or App Store purchases.

The iOS 14.5 will bring about global support for 5G in Dual-SIM mode on the iPhone 12 models. The Dual-SIM feature on the ‌iPhone 12‌ will let users use two lines of 5G service on a single ‌iPhone‌, useful especially for keeping separate work and home numbers. Prior to iOS 14.5, except for China, in all countries, Dual-SIM mode was limited to LTE.

There is now an option to print a Reminder list, a feature that has been wanted by Reminders users for some time, plus, an option to sort lists in Reminders is also included by Due Date, Creation Date, Priority, or Title, plus.

How to get the iOS 14.5 beta

If you want to try out the iOS 14.5 beta before its general release, do remember that the company suggests you do not run the 14.5 beta on any critical device, you never know what can go wrong.

Developers can go head to developer.apple.com/download and download a developer beta profile on the device upon which they which to run the beta. Those who aren’t developers can join the public beta by heading to beta.apple.com.

Once you have the profile, enable it by going to Settings > General > Profile and your device will reset to enable the profile. After it has reset with the profile enabled, to download the latest beta release you can head to Settings > General > Software Updates.

Recently, we’ve got a leak related to the Oppo Find X3 Pro, sharing the key specifications of the device. Additionally, an Oppo device with a model number PEEM00 appeared in a cloud-based benchmarking platform, which is expected to be the Find X3 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy M02 showcases a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display. The handset is powered by a MediaTek mobile processor. It supports a RAM of 3 GB and has an internal storage of 32 GB. The storage of the smartphone is expandable up to 1TB with the aid of a microSD card.

The Brazillian forward Neymar follows in second place, scoring a yearly ‘Insta-income’ of £188,370,000. He proves to be a hit online with fans, leaving the prolific Argentine Lionel Messi trailing behind in third place, with his Instagram feed valued at £130,728,000.

In fourth and fifth places, despite having only hit the back of the net 44 times and 96 times respectively, stars Marcelo and Kylian Mbappe both enjoy a fee worth celebrating — £48,048,000. The smartphone company, itel, has launched a new smartphone namely itel A47 today. The latest device showcases a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS display. It is powered by the 1.4GHz quad-core Unisoc mobile processor. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 32 GB with the aid of an external microSD.

Also, the new smartphone will have a RAM of 2 GB. It operates on Android 9.0 Pie, Go Edition. In terms of optics, itel A47 comes with a dual-camera setup at the rear side of the device. It houses a 5-megapixel camera and a VGA secondary sensor. The camera module is placed at the top left corner of the back panel. You can spot a LED flash in that same module.

The Redmi K40 series is the upcoming successor of the Redmi K30 series. A lot of rumors were spreading regarding this smartphone series. A lot of leaks have surfaced regarding this series where we came to know about the chipsets and different models in it. Currently, another news surfaced claiming that the upcoming Redmi K40 series will have three different models, most probably the Pro and Lite models will also tag along.

Initially, we heard that Redmi’s upcoming flagship will feature Snapdragon 888 SoC and another phone will feature the sub-flagship Snapdragon 870 SoC. There were also rumors that the Dimensity 1200 chipset can also be seen in one of the phones.
