Redmi K40 series launching on 17th February with no charger in the box

Recently Lu Weibing is hinting a lot about the Redmi Note 10 series in his various Weibo posts. This confirms the imminent launch of the mid-range king Redmi Note 10 series. Apart from Redmi Note 10 the company is also planning to launch the flagship Redmi K40 series. From the past month after the launch of flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC the series was in discussion and finally more leaks are surfacing as the launch is nearing. The phones will first debut in China then will pave its ways o the global market.

Now we are going to share some more information on the launch and features of this device. Now coming to the first leak that suggests that the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro will debut in China on 17th February. Both the phones will feature a 2K display along with a Snapdragon 888 SoC.

This is the image of an online retail listing of both the devices where the price is not mentioned but we can see the launch date hinted at at the bottom of the image. Apart from this, both the devices will be 5G enabled. Another image has surfaced today where we can see two types of packing boxes of the Redmi K40 series.

If you are thinking that why two boxes then it is simple, one box is with a charger and another is without a charger, and the company wants to know what the consumers want. Unlike Apple, Xiaomi is giving an option to its consumers to choose between a phone with and without charger.

According to Gizmochina, “Lu Weibing, General Manager of the Redmi brand recently posted on Weibo, asking for suggestions for the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series smartphones. In the comments, some users suggested removing the charger from the box, and to one of those comments, Lu Weibing responded by saying “message received,” which indicates that the charger won’t be included in the retail box.”
