Vaio, the Japanese pioneer of the PC business, was previously owned by Sony and now with Nexstgo Company Limited it has made a comeback in India.

Previously having launched two laptops, among them being the Vaio SE14 with an older Intel Core i5 8th Gen processor, the company is now offering the latest 11th Gen Core Tiger Lake processors with Intel Xe graphics.

Lucid motor’s CEO dismisses rumours of potential Apple merger and states he has a team in SpaceX for developing Tesla Model X

Lucid Motors’ chief executive officer Mr. Peter Rawlinson has spoken up about his time spent at Tesla and regarding the rumors going around that his company is in some secret discussions with Apple.

Recently, Elon Musk, Tweeted that, Mr. Rawlinson was not significantly involved in developing the Tesla Model S and rumors of Lucid Motors’ discussions with Apple for a potential merger.

To quote, Musk’s exact words, which came in response to another tweet claiming that he made “Lucid’s CEO chief engineer,” were:

Rawlinson was never a chief engineer. He arrived after the Model S prototype was made, left before things got tough & were only ever responsible for body engineering, not powertrain, battery, software, production, or design.

However, this isn’t the first time Musk had commented on Rawlinson’s role at Tesla. His previous comments came were:

Rawlinson didn’t design Model S. Prototype was done before he joined & he left us in the lurch just as things got tough, which was not cool. He did make some contributions to body/chassis engineering, but not to powertrain, battery, electronics, or software.

However, for Musk’s recent tweet, the Lucid CEO stated in an interview that:

Strange, I’ve got the business card still here leftover from when I was. I don’t think I’d go to the, to the pain of creating mythical business cards, no, no, I mean, I mean one of the great. I was at Tesla for three years right through from taking Model S from a clean sheet of paper, through to production readiness, did all the concept engineering, set up the team in SpaceX, which designed for core engineering of the Model X, and not the Model S rather and also was responsible for Model X as well. We took Model S from a clean sheet effectively or a blank computer screen to the car that you know today, and I hold a very high percentage of the patents on that car as well.

However, Rawlinson also stated that not only was he involved in Tesla but he also claims to set up a team in SpaceX; a team which, according to him, was responsible for designing the Tesla Model X.

As to whether this is true, it remains to be seen after Elon Musk’s official responsible for the claims made by Mr. Rawlinson.

After the unsuccessful formation of the European Super League, there have been demands of the change in ownership of the Big Six England. Arsenal was one of them and their owners Kroenke was told to sell the club by the fans.

Spotify founder Daniel Ek is one of those willing to take the responsibility of the ownership of the club off Kroenke. The man himself said via Twitter,  ‘As a kid growing up, I’ve cheered for @Arsenal as long as I can remember. If KSE would like to sell Arsenal I’d be happy to throw my hat in the ring.”

According to Forbes, Daniel Ek’s personal worth is about £4.7 billion, which is less than that of Kroenke, but the boyhood Arsenal fan was interested in taking over Arsenal.

But there have been reports claiming that Daniel Ek has never made a official bid, so he once again took to Twitter and corrected the false claims.

Ek stated: “Inaccurate reports emerged today saying I have not made a bid for Arsenal Football Club. I think it’s important to correct the record – this week an offer was made to both Josh Kroenke and their bankers that included fan ownership, representation at the board and a golden share for supporters.”

“They replied that they don’t need the money. I respect their decision but remain interested and available should that situation ever change.”

The Kroenkes have assumed full ownership of Arsenal since 2018. But the supporters are unhappy with them and want a change in ownership.

Xavi Hernandez has been linked with a job at Barcelona for a long time, ever since he stepped into coaching. But Xavi has maintained that he won’t come to Barcelona as a stopgap and would rather prefer to take over the role when he is prepared to take the Blaugranas back to the European crown.

But Ronald Koeman’s situation at Barcelona is very delicate. It seems he is most unlikely to continue next season as Laporta plans to overhaul the team and start a new beginning.

Koeman has done a decent job in binding the team into one and won the Copa del Rey trophy as well, but his team has faltered in important moments and have almost thrown themselves out of the La Liga title race.

According to recent reports, Barcelona president Joan Laporta is set to have a meeting with Xavi Hernandez to discuss the terms of his return to Barcelona as the coach.

Xavi has signed a contract extension with Al Sadd, but reportedly there is a Barcelona clause in the contract which would let him terminate the contract and join Barcelona.

The former Barcelona captain has done an excellent job with the Qatari side. He has won the following titles with Al Sadd since taking over in May 2019.

By no means is the Argentinian having a bad season, as he is currently the top scorer in LaLiga. However, given that he is 33 years old, the transfer value of the player is set to fall over the next few years too. 

3. Christian Eriksen: €35 million (-€33 million) 

While Eriksen struggled to find his footing under Antonio Conte initially, he has finally become a part of the Scudetto winning starting XI. However, his stats have dropped and at 29, fewer clubs are likely to want to invest in him which has caused his value to drop. 

2. Antoine Griezmann: €60 million (-€36 million) 

The Frenchman hasn’t been the version of him at Barcelona that we’ve come to know at Atletico. Add to that the fact that he is 30, and is nearing the downward slope, and you have over a third of his value chipped off.

Derby County’s potential buyers have decided to walk away from the takeover, after finding out that the club owes in excess of £60 million. That includes £8 million to be paid to former boss Philip Cocu and his assistants, who were discarded in November. 

The prospect of selling the club for £1 has been mooted, and even in that situation, it makes little sense because the net result will be accumulation of liabilities. The club owes the HMRC bill north of £20m, as well as the £2.3m compensation payment to former captain Richard Keogh and a loan of £17.5m plus rolling interest with MSD Holdings, which is guaranteed against Pride Park.

According to a source of the Daily Mail, there have been talks of liquidation, which go as follows: 

‘An option is that Derby go into administration to remove part of their debt. However, only non-football debt is wiped off by doing so, and that is less than £10m, which isn’t enough.

‘If he is going to sell the club, Mel Morris needs to give it away for nothing and agree to cover half of the debt. At the present time, because of the uncertainty over the points deduction, it looks unsellable.

‘To pay, in effect, £60m for Derby, it makes no business sense at all, especially as there are plenty of other clubs for sale right now. Someone could be tempted if you thought the squad needed one or two additions and could challenge for promotion to the Premier League, like what happened at Aston Villa.

‘But Derby are in a mess, on and off the pitch. If Mel Morris is unable to find the right buyer, then we could be looking at the biggest liquidation in the history of British football.’

AMD released its latest roadmap for the server CPUs, and in that, we finally got to see the number of core counts to be expected on the Zen4 powered EPYC Genoa ‘7004’ and EPYC Embedded ‘3004’ series processors. It has been confirmed that the Zen4 will be launched in 2022.

The latest leak state that AMD’s Zen 4 processors, or the Zen 4 powered EPYC CPUs, will be launching in 2022. And the way AMD has put its roadmap, we can guess that the new architecture will get a launch around mid of 2022. We will first get the Genoa ‘7004’ CPUs followed by EPYC Embedded ‘3004’ CPUs in Q1 2023.
