Barcelona willing to sell Dembele for 50-60 million euros

After arriving at Camp Nou in 2017, perceivably as Neymar’s replacement, Ousmane Dembele has struggled to truly find his feet at the club. With his 135-million-euro transfer fee, it is a seemingly collective opinion that his impact on the pitch has been far from satisfactory. Henceforth, Barcelona are willing to let him go for a price between 50 to 60 million euros.

The key issues relating to the distress associated with his case have always been his injury concerns, which have kept him out of action for prolonged periods. With just 118 appearances across four seasons with the Blaugrana, he has missed out on a sizeable portion of the action in different competitions. For a player who earns 11 million per annum, his contribution in his side’s endeavours is disappointingly low.

Another setback apart from his fitness has been his style of play. In the 20-21 season under Ronald Koeman, owing to full fitness, Dembele eventually got the opportunity to showcase his endowment every week. To his demerit, Barca’s style of play was never suited for players like himself. The Frenchman would be an absolute delight for any counter-attacking side across Europe. With his attributes, which include blistering pace, sharp dribbles, quick strides, and ambipedal nature, he is bound to cause an upset whenever he gets that space behind a high line of defence.

However, with the way Barca operate, they require players to be adept in terms of spatial awareness. Having no judgement of the useful passing options when stuck in tight spaces is a drawback the Catalans can’t afford to sustain. Wingers who have a tunnel vision when they run with ball were never treasured at the club. Players like Greizmann, Fati, and Pedri have proved to be much better in these scenarios, and therefore have a much better future at Barcelona. Also, with players like Sergio Aguero arriving at the club, the options in attack are only set to increase; this would effectively tank his probability to get starts more often.

At 24 years of age, Dembele still has a considerable number of seasons ahead of him. With his undeniable abilities and potential, he can have a brilliant career at a club that suits his style of play.

Which defenders have won the Premier League Player Of The Season award apart from Ruben Dias?

0

Ruben Dias was recently awarded the Premier League player of the season award. The 23-year-old became the fourth centre-back to ever receive the award. And here, we have a look at the other three players who received the award.

Nemanja Vidic (08/09 and 10/11)

Vidic reached a new high in 2008-09 with a stellar individual season that saw him become the first defender to lift the player of the season. He kept 23 clean sheets, conceded 16 goals, won 45/62 tackles, made 71 interceptions and was an overall rock at the back for Manchester United.

The United legend didn’t reach the heights during 2011 he reached during 2009, but won the player of the year for the second time as he lifted the Premier League title again. He had a 77% tackle success rate, and kept 13 clean sheets that year. He made 91 interceptions and over 330 clearances that season, and conceded 33 goals throughout the season, whilst scoring 5 himself.

Vincent Kompany (11/12)

As Manchester City lifted the Premier League title for the first time, Vincent Kompany was named the player of the season. He kept 15 clean sheets, only conceded 21 goals, had a tackle success rate of 78% and made an astounding 191 recoveries that season. He also scored 3 goals during the campaign, adding to his case as the best player during the year.

Virgil Van Dijk (18/19)

Before Harry Maguire made the move to United from Leicester, Van Dijk was the most expensive defender in the world. And during the 2018-19 season, he kept 17 clean sheets, conceded only 20 goals, and won 152 aerial battles as Liverpool enjoyed a great season in the league, albeit falling short of the title.

The Next Battlefield is Rumored to be Named as Battlefield 2042

In this month, EA and DICE might reveal the next Battlefield game, Battlefield 6. The potential title and the cover art of the game have been leaked on Reddit.

HeoTK posted on Reddit about some information gathered from Tom Henderson’s Discord server along with the online forums. It says that the next Battlefield game is named, Battlefield 2042.

The environment of Battlefield 2042 is rumoured to be set 20 years after Battlefield 4 in a near-future setting, which comes with some of the technology elements that are expected to be part of the game. As per assumption, Battlefield 6 could come as alpha or beta later this month.

According to the rumors, Battlefield 2042 could feature the biggest maps in the history of the franchise. This is related to the previous leaks that hint about a massive map. A map named Shelf could be featured in the game and it might take place in Antarctica. We also might get a map on an island in Battlefield 6. After all, nothing has been done official yet, so, take all these details with a pinch of salt.

Previously EA has disclosed that four studios are collaborating for Battlefield 6 including Criterion, EA DICE, EA Gothenburg, and DICE LA. The game will be launched on the latest consoles, along with the previous-gen consoles and PC.

It is expected that Battlefield 6 will be launched in Q3 2021, which means between October and December. We might get more information regarding Battlefield 6 from EA during the next EA Play event in late 2021.

Using Edge-AI, DSEE Extreme upscales compressed digital music files in real time. Dynamically recognizing instrumentation, musical genres and individual elements of each song for a more complete listening experience.

Exceptional sound quality

Integrated Processor V1

Specially developed by Sony, our new Integrated Processor V1 takes the noise canceling performance of our acclaimed QN1e chip and goes even further. Improved noise canceling performance and Bluetooth technology delivers the industry’s highest level of noise canceling.

Enjoy High-Resolution Audio without wires

Easy wireless charging with Qi technology

No cables necessary – the WF-1000XM4 feature Qi technology for easy wireless charging. You can even use a smartphone with Qi technology, like the latest Xperia models with reverse wireless charging, to charge your headphones and charging case.

Listen all day, charge in minutes

You can enjoy a full working day of charge – 8 hours – from your headphones and store another 16 hours in the case. That means a full 24 hours of listening time every time you leave the house.

High performance dual noise sensor microphones

Two noise sensing microphones per earbuds – one forward-facing and one backward-facing – catch more ambient sound around you. This means more stable noise canceling and less distortion at any volume.

New 6mm driver unit

A newly designed 6mm driver unit, featuring a 20% increase in magnet volume, gives you improved performance in low frequencies. It also enhances noise canceling by generating a high-precision cancellation signal to the low frequency range.

Minimizing wind noise

Even on windy days, you’ll stay totally immersed. Automatic Wind Noise Reduction mode detects when it’s windy and automatically suppresses wind noise for more effective noise canceling.

Water resistant for everyday use

With an IPX4 water resistance rating, splashes and sweat won’t stop these headphones – so you can keep on moving to the music.

Beamforming microphones pick up every word

Beamforming microphones are calibrated to only pick up sounds from your mouth. With an improved signal-to-noise ratio they’ll catch every word, even when there’s a lot of noise around you.

Voice assistant

Get hands-free help. Just say “Hey Google” or “Alexa” to activate your preferred voice assistant. You can manage your day and even control your headphones with commands like “Turn off noise cancellation”

Easy pairing with your computer

Swift Pair makes it quick and easy to pair your WF-1000XM4 headphones with your Windows 10 laptop, desktop PC or tablet. Pop-up pairing guidance appears on nearby Windows 10 devices when pairing mode is selected.

A clearer, more stable Bluetooth signal

The optimization of the transmission algorithm with the Integrated Processor V1 has made the connection more stable and less prone to sound skipping, even in an environment where there is interference.

Ergonomic surface design

Since introducing the world’s first in-ear headphones in 1982, we’ve surveyed huge amounts of data relating to ear shapes from around the world. WF1000XM4 are the product of that research, combining a shape that matches the ear cavity with a new ergonomic surface design.

Sony WH-1000XM4 - 3_TechnoSports.co.in

Noise Isolation Earbud Tips

Newly developed Noise Isolation Earbud Tips feature a unique polyurethane foam material. Soft and elastic, it maximizes the surface contact area between the earbud tip and the ear canal, eliminating gaps to insulate sound and reduce noise.

Everything’s at your fingertips

The WF-1000XM4 headphones feature intuitive touch control settings – for example, tap on the left earbud to change from Noise Canceling to Ambient Sound and long tap for Quick Attention, or double tap on the right to skip to the next track.

Instant pause. Instant play

Just take the earbuds out of your ears and the music stops – a proximity sensor knows when you are wearing one or both earbuds. Pop the earbuds back in and the music starts again.

Smarter talking, smarter listening

As soon as you speak to someone, Speak-to-Chat automatically pauses the music and lets in ambient sound so you can conduct a conversation – handy if you want to keep your headphones on, or if your hands are full.

Detects speech vibrations to enhance clarity

A bone-conduction sensor picks up vibrations from your voice without registering ambient sound, enabling even clearer speech when making calls.

Everything Apple Did and Didn’t Announce at WWDC’21

So many rumors and little reality. It was again that time of the year- The Apple WWDC 2021. Well it was packed with new features and upgrades coming to its various devices but little did we hope that the new hardware expectations would be crushed. The overall Keynote by Apple CEO Tim Cook was great and here are few things he mentioned.

Everything Apple Did and Didn’t Announce at WWDC’21
The New iOS 15

The new iOS 15 is set to roll into public beta in July, with a full release “this fall.” This release, according to Craig Federighi, Apple’s Senior VP, focuses on 4 important points: staying connected, finding focus, using intelligence, and exploring the world.

FaceTime Updates

The new updates include Spatial audio, Voice Isolation, Portrait Mode, FaceTime Links, SharePlay. SharePlay helps share audio/video streams in sync with friends and watch it together. We can push the shared videos to our AppleTV and keep it all synced.

The “Focus” Mode

Now we’ll be able to shift into different, customizable modes — like “work” or “personal”. This could either make only work-related apps show up or tuck all work apps and widgets to the background. iOS can also batch less important notifications together and deliver them all at a specific time.

OS Updates

All three operating systems, macOS, watchOS, iPadOS, will be getting considerable updates. There will also be a huge load of Privacy and Security updates in Apple’s current endeavours to focus more on user security. Although it is called the Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple tends to focus more on consumer issues. This time though, they did make some they did touch on a few developer highlights.

Other Updates

The camera will now be able to recognize text in photos. Apple is also incorporating home, office, or any keys into the Apple Wallet. Maps will be getting a details-focused upgrade, with the addition of 3D elevation maps and much more. There will be a “Trends” summary in the health app which will highlight patterns in step counts, heart rate, etc. Apple also said it’s opening up Siri to third-party manufacturers and their devices. AirPods will also be getting updates including Conversational Mode, Spatial Audio and Find My.

Everything Apple Did and Didn’t Announce at WWDC’21

The Release that Never Came!

Much to the viewers’ disappointment, Apple didn’t release any hardware. Although plenty of new devices were rumored, none of them were announced on Monday. There were no new MacBook Pros, Mac Pros with an M1X or M2 chip.

Rumours about a larger M1-powered iMac and a higher-end Mac Mini also were seen. There was no news about the AirPods 3 or the new Beats earbuds that we saw NBA superstar LeBron James donning lately. We also saw rumours of a more affordable Apple Display but I guess we will have to wait longer.

Although we didn’t get any new hardware, there are loads of software updates in motion. As far as new devices are concerned, we’ll have to wait.

New ISL guidelines for foreign players in starting XI

The Indian Super League’s next season will see an increase in the number of Indian players in the starting XI, as the Football Sports Development Limited’s (FSDL) revised Coach & Player Selection Guidelines now require clubs to have a minimum of seven Indian players on the field at all times.

The rise in the number of Indian players from six to seven means that there will be fewer spots available for international players. They will now be limited to four. The initial season, which kicked off in the year 2014, included a lineup of six foreigners and five Indians. The League has gradually expanded the number of spots available for Indian players, with the ISL 2017-18 season requiring a minimum of six Indian players on the field. This has now been elevated to seven for the 2021-22 season.

via Sportskeeda

The Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) club tournaments regulations limit foreign players to a maximum of four per team. Clubs can now sign a maximum of six foreign players, with one of them having to be from an AFC member nation. Within the League-approved classifications, a team can also sign a foreign marquee player.

Starting the 21-22 season, the FSDL will require clubs to boost their development player signings from two to four. Two out of those development players will be remaining in the match-day squad. Last season, the League saw a major improvement in the performance of developing players. Several players like Akash Mishra, Apuia, Jeakson Singh, Rahul KP, Ashish Rai, and others showcased standout performances, demonstrating the evolution of young footballers in India.

A club’s maximum squad size is to be 35 players, within which three goalkeepers will be registered. An injury substitute for an Indian player might also be found at a club (outside of the maximum 35 registered players). For season 2021-22, the salary cap for the squad stays at INR 16.5 crore.

There is also another leak, suggesting that the phone will be priced at Rs.22,990 and it has been found listed in one of HDFC bank’s offer chart where the bank seems to have listed several other products from OnePlus brands along with their non-GST included prices along with their discount prices.
