Amplus Solar expands its clean mobility fleet with Mahindra Electric’s Zor Grand

Amplus Solar‘s electric mobility vertical has signed an MoU with Mahindra Electric, India’s No. 1 Electric 3-wheeler company, to procure their Zor Grand, a brand-new breakthrough electric vehicle. 

With this addition, Amplus Solar strengthens its fleet of clean vehicles, offering freight delivery to major e-commerce, on-demand logistics, and other enterprises in the country on various subscription models. 

Zor Grand, from Mahindra Electric, is one of India’s most technologically advanced, low-carbon, three-wheeled small commercial vehicles, built for sustainable and intelligent transportation.

The agreement signifies a major step forward in Amplus Solar’s mission to advance clean mobility solutions to its customers. 

According to Mr. Abhishek Dabas, Chief Operating Officer of Amplus Solar’s clean mobility solutions, “Electric mobility can upend the current logistics and transportation sector. This disruption is even more pronounced at Amplus since we run our fleets by deploying the most advanced technologies, thus removing inefficiencies, and lowering current delivery costs. We feel that the Zor Grand from Mahindra Electric will be a fantastic addition to our clean fleet as we work together to realise zero-carbon freight mobility in India.”

About Amplus Solar’s Electric Mobility vertical 

Amplus Solar’s electric mobility vertical is a 100% subsidiary of Amplus Solar and is headquartered in Gurugram, India. It aims to ramp up operations to 1,000+ electric vehicles (that translates into a daily run of 1,00,000+ clean kms with a CO2 offsetting of 20+ tonnes), by the end of 2022 with a mix of two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and four-wheeler vehicles in its portfolio.

The brand already has more than a dozen parking and charging hubs which its partners use to deliver goods to their clients. This takes away not just the range anxiety regarding the geographic span of operation but also gives longer operational hours. Galatasaray have signed Juan Mata on a free transfer, with a one-year deal in place for the midfielder. His contract has the option for one more year, and the move has been made official by the club.

Kohli and Rishabh Pant actually drove the innings, Besides Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal were rested and Deepak Chahar, Dinesh Karthik, and Axar Patel came in as replacements for the trio. In the second innings, Afghanistan had a horrible start, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar attacking the Afghan batters. He got five wickets in four overs. Arshdeep Singh, R Ashwin, and Deepak Hooda picked one wicket each.

The Afghanistan team looked tired as they played the next game less than 24 hours after losing to Pakistan. They dropped very easy catches and didn’t react when Kohli went aggressive with his bat.

The Japanese giant chose the social network Twitter to announce that a new Xperia Gaming product will arrive on September 12, which for now is kept completely secret. The event will be premiered live on the Sony Xperia official YouTube channel on September 12, at 9.30 AM IST.

The Tokyo-based tech giant announced via Twitter that the ‘Born To Game’ event will be hosted by Sony’s Xperia on September 12 at 1pm JST (9:30am IST) . During the event, the company will launch a new product for professional gamers and streamers. The event will be livestreamed via Sony Xperia’s YouTube channel.

And the teaser video that has already been released states gaming gear is finally announced! This is a new product that was developed with professional e-sports players and created for gaming. Although Xperia is equipped with the ” Game Enhancer,” which is packed with game-specific functions, it is not as good as other manufacturers’ “gaming smartphones” on the market.

China’s Build Your Dreams (BYD), a new entrant in the electric vehicle (EV) space, will launch its new electric car, Atto 3, in India on October 11. The EV is expected to join the ₹25 lakh to ₹35 lakh EV segment. 

Company insiders say that the electric SUV’s E platform, which has been designed to take on the likes of Tesla, is expected to provide better driving comfort than its rivals. The Atto 3 is BYD’s second model in the passenger vehicle segment in India, following the e6 MPV.

The BYD Atto 3 electric SUV is close to 4.5 meters long and is already on sale in right-hand-drive markets like Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. In August, it was introduced in Cambodia. The Atto 3 will come to India via the SKD (semi-knocked down) assembly route. With the new SUV model, BYD is planning on entering the private passenger car market in India.

BYD India Pvt. Ltd. in a statement said the model with a 71.7-kilowatt hour (Kwh) blade battery is being made available to the business-to-business segment. The vehicle has a WLTC (worldwide harmonized light vehicles test cycles) range of 520 Km (city) and a WLTC (combined) range of 415km with a single charge. The motor offers a torque of 180 Nm and a top speed of 130 km per hour, the statement said.

BYD Atto 3 will join the all-electric e6 MPV – recently launched for private buyers at Rs 29.15 lakh (ex-showroom, India) – at BYD’s plant in Sriperumbudur near Chennai. Deliveries for the BYD Atto 3 EV SUV are expected to start early next year.

Landmark Cars, one of India’s leading automobile dealership chains, has started opening BYD’s outlets in the country, with the first such facility currently in operation at Okhla, in New Delhi. Landmark also plans to open showrooms in Noida, Mumbai and Thane. Landmark Cars is also a dealer principal for Mercedes-Benz, Jeep and Volkswagen cars in India.

On August 17, the company opened its first dealership in Kerala, in Ernakulam, and followed it up a week later with another one at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.

Notably, the company has now also made the e6 MPV available for private buyers, with the Atto 3 model expected to join it after its rolled out in India. The EV is expected to join the ₹25 lakh to 35 lakh EV segment.  The Atto 3 will go on sale sometime next year, as per Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior VP, Electric Vehicle Passenger Business, BYD India.

On getting power there Mahindra’s EV giant featured IP 67 compliant 39.5 kWh battery pack and PSM motor become churning out a peak power of 149.5 PS with maximum torque of 310 Nm. The SUV has 8-inch touchscreen infotainment.

Mahindra’s XUV400 will be charged by a  single front-wheel-drive electric motor that can generate 150hp. The car has set to arrive with two battery pack options to provide support to the car to achieve the range of 456kms just on a single charge.

While talking about the price, Mahindra XUV400 is expected to cost Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
