Vivo looks set to release a follow up to its first foldable phone, the Vivo X Fold. The newer model – likely called Vivo X Fold Plus – has landed on TENAA, suggesting a launch is imminent. The Vivo X Fold Plus launch date is currently unknown.

The X Fold Plus will come with an 8.03-inch foldable display on the inside. It will have a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will also have a 6.53-inch AMOLED display, which will be the outer panel, having an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is expected to double up as an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
A vertical strip runs below the camera module for the Vivo branding. On the sides, we see an alert slider, a power button and the volume rocker. The right side of the foldable display has a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout. On the outside, the curved cover screen has a hole-punch cutout as well.
It will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which will be an upgrade over the predecessor’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The device was spotted with a 4,600mAh dual-cell battery on the TENAA certification. The listing reportedly suggests that the handset will pack a 2,300mAh + 2,300mAh dual-cell battery. It will run Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out-of-the-box, as per the report.
There is a camera island on the back, which houses a circular camera module. The foldable phone has a quad-camera setup on the back. There is also the Zeiss branding at the top right corner, further confirming the company’s partnership. In addition to this, there is an LED flash at the bottom right corner of the island.

A new colour variant of the Realme 9i 5G has been introduced in India. The smartphone was released in Metallic Gold and Rocking Black last month. A new color option called Soulful Blue will be available soon on Flipkart.

This phone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W Dart fast charging. The device runs the Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM, 5G, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme says that the smartphone comes with Dynamic RAM Expansion technology that adds virtual RAM in order to improve app responsiveness. It also gets a Vintage CD Design with a reflective texture.

Prior to their official availability, Intel Arc Alchemist graphics cards continue to astound us in a variety of ways. This time, a fresh teaser from a conversation with Intel fellow Tom Petersen provides additional details on the GPUs, including their capacity for overclocking.
Petersen claims that Intel Arc may be surprisingly adept at overclocking and finding the ideal balance between performance and power consumption — to the point where a significant overclock was accomplished at almost no additional energy cost.
Although Intel Arc has a number of flaws, including delays and GPUs that are primarily geared for DirectX 12 and Vulkan only, recent marketing and communication efforts have been excellent, and Intel has been open about the performance of these graphics cards. To that end, Tom Petersen participated in a HotHardware Q&A session and responded to numerous inquiries about Intel Arc.
To assess the GPU’s performance in Hitman 3, it undervolted and overclocked several components of the system. The GPU typically runs at a maximum clock speed of 2.1GHz, but this time it was overclocked to 2.7GHz. That is a significant overclock that would undoubtedly affect performance.
The fact that the card’s power usage increased to 228 watts during the 2.7GHz overclock—just 3 watts more than its typical maximum TBP—may be the more intriguing statistic. This demonstrates that Intel Arc may produce good results by properly balancing undervolting and overclocking.
The Limited Edition models of the Arc Alchemist graphics cards, which are of Intel’s own design, are discussed in new slides that Intel has also released.
The ACM-G10 GPU is shared by the Arc A770 and Arc A750, although the A770 has 32 Xe-Cores and 16GB of memory, but it can also be had in an 8GB version. However, the TBP on both graphics cards is the same at 225 watts.
The Arc A580, a mid-range processor with 24 Xe-Cores and 8GB of memory, now also has a TBP of 175 watts certified by Petersen. The Arc A310 and Arc A350, which are both supposed to be in the lineup, are also relatively unknown. Perhaps a global launch of the Arc A380 will soon follow alongside the better variants as it has already experienced a limited release.
Petersen responded to a number of queries, but he was still hesitant to speculate on when Intel Arc would be released. Although that would give the GPUs very little opportunity to shine, it’s possible that Intel would discuss them during its Intel Innovation event on September 27. On that day, AMD will also be releasing its Ryzen 7000 processors, and Intel will also be revealing Raptor Lake CPUs.
Dan-Axel Zagadou is set to join Stuttgart on a free transfer. The player has been a free agent since leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of his contract last season, and is now set to remain in the Bundesliga.
Several clubs were linked with his signature, including West Ham United, most recently. However, the player was never close to joining the London side, according to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

During his time with Borussia Dortmund, he was able to showcase his potential on several occasions. However, injuries limited his progress and ultimately played a part in him leaving on a free transfer. But there is still time for the 23-year-old to turn things around and get consistent game time.
The Frenchman spent five years with the black and yellow club after joining from PSG in 2017. He has made 92 appearances for them, and will be extending his tally in the Bundesliga once he signs officially.
A medical assessment has been scheduled for Dan-Axel Zagadou soon, so that he can complete the formalities and be officially announced as a new player. And with the international break ahead, he will have plenty of time to ease into the first team.
Bengaluru FC became the champions of the Durand Cup 2022 after they edged past Mumbai City FC 2-1 in the final at Salt Lake today. Siva and Alan Costa were the scorers for the winning team while Apuia pulled one back for the Mumbai side. Bengaluru won their maiden title in the Durand Cup history.
Siva Sakthi (10th minute) and Brazilian Alan Costa (61st) scored for the winners while Apuia got the lone goal for the Mumbai side in an entertaining match.

The Blues took an early lead through a fifth tournament goal from Siva Sakthi. The long ball was delivered from the deep by Jovanovic, which put Mourtada Fall under pressure with Siva on his shoulder. The Senegalese defender was in the end foxed by the bounce and Siva pounced on it with a measured chip over the keeper.
After Chhangte had the first chance for the Islanders in the 17th minute, they got the equalizer at the half-hour mark when Sandesh Jhingan gave away a free-kick in a dangerous zone. The Blues then almost went ahead in the 38th minute, when, off a Roshan Singh corner, a rebound fell for Roy Krishna and he shot towards goal, but Chhangte brought off a miraculous goal-line save.
The game maintained its intensity in the second half. Five minutes after resumption, Jahouh delivered a measured long ball which fell for Chhangte who did well to get away from two BFC defenders, but with just the keeper to beat, the tournament’s highest scorer shot over.
The most notable chance for Mumbai in the second half came through Spanish midfielder Ripoll in the 77th minute when he went on a solo run from midfield and unleashed a booming drive which beat Gurpreet but struck the left upright and came back.
Chhetri also had a couple of golden opportunities to score, once in the 69th minute, when his left-footed strike missed the target and then again in the 87th when he was one-on-one with the keeper, but Lachenpa was up to it and brought off a great save.
For 38-year-old Chhetri, who is in the twilight of his career, the Durand Cup was the only missing from his trophy cabinet but after Sunday’s clash, his trophy cabinet does seem complete. For Bengaluru FC, who have won all major Indian competitions since coming into existence in 2013, this is the first Durand Cup victory.
