Chelsea have had a dismal run of form over the last few games, having won only two of their last 14 games. Their most recent defeat was to Southampton at Stamford Bridge by a 1-0 scoreline. The Saints are rooted to the bottom of the table, and it was a game that the Blues were expected to win.
However, even though they had a better xG than Southampton, they were unable to find the back of the net. And as a result, they have remained in tenth place, continuing their winless performance under Graham Potter.
Why Chelsea haven’t sacked Graham Potter despite brutal criticism
The upper management is convinced that the former Brighton manager is the right man for the job long-term. This comes even though he hasn’t managed any other Big Six team in the past, but was able to guide the Seagulls into their best ever position in the table.
It took him time to get things going at the Amex Stadium, and the arrival of so many new starters during the January transfer window hasn’t helped his case either. Potter has resorted to simpler tactics, but is still searching for his strongest line-up.
Moreover, constant injuries to some of the best players like Reece James and Ben Chilwell hasn’t helped his case either. And this has forced him to opt for other changes to the line-up, which haven’t made it any easier for the new players to settle in.
The Chelsea board is quite appreciative that Potter doesn’t throw any of his players under the bus in press conferences. Moreover, he isn’t animated on the touchline either when the team isn’t performing up to the mark. These conversations take place behind closed doors.
In addition, his training methods have impressed the higher ups at Chelsea as well. And they are convinced that it is only a matter of time before the results swing in their favour. Towards that end, they are prepared to wait until the start of next season until they make a decision as to whether Graham Potter will stay or go.
Yes, OnePlus is back and after the not-so-good year of 2022 in terms of flagship smartphones, the company has bounced back in 2023! Understanding the Indian market and audience, it launched the OnePlus 11R alongside the flagship OnePlus 11 5G.
Personally, I was a OnePlus fan and many like me have closely watched its phenomenal growth in India, its amazing community in India was all present at the Cloud 11 event we attended. After 3 years, it seemed OnePlus is really back and doing something for one of its biggest markets in the globe – India!
After the OPPO-OnePlus drama users were frustrated with some of the blatant decisions that were taken, merging ColorOS with OxygenOS or removing Alert Slider, just the typical OnePlus thing was getting blurred at the end of 2022. While they were doing good in the budget market with Nord but OnePlus was known for its affordable flagship smartphones!
The OnePlus 10 Pro was the flagship but way out of reach for most Indians, while the new OnePlus 11 5G is again priced well but most Indians won’t be looking at that price segment. OnePlus ruled that Rs.40k price bracket and was known to provide value-for-money top-notch flagship smartphones in the same price bracket, while a lot of people like me were disappointed with OnePlus 10R, this time OnePlus is truly back!
From the launch to just holding the demo unit back at the Cloud 11 event, I personally understood this will be a hit. Though I made the OnePlus 11R hands-on article previously, recently got the Indin retail unit for just a day, so, will not be able to make a full review but a first impressions article that will help you make the decision whether you should buy it or not:

Design & Build Quality
The last time we tried both OnePlus 10R and 10T but they lacked that subtle OnePlus premiumness you expect. However, this time they have completely overhauled the design and aligned it with the OnePlus 11 design showcasing a sleek laser-cut silhouette and a glossy finish to match.
Both Galactic Silver and Sonic Black colors look gorgeous, here we got the Black variant which comes with a matte finish, almost identical to the OnePlus 11 5G’s Sandstone Black.
Obviously, this is a major benefit for the OnePlus 11R and with that sleek laser-sculptured curvature, it’s a nice feeling when you hold the device in your hands. To OnePlus’s credit, both the OnePlus 11R 5G and the OnePlus 11 5G black variants almost look identical, having that same OnePlus philosophy.
It weighs only 205 grams, has a good balance when you hold it and the back glass also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The overall build quality is great, very much improved over the 10R’s build quality, the plastic sides do have an identical metal frame design, just what the OnePlus flagship reminds you of.
Display
Here too, OnePlus has heavily invested and given a top-notch display, a curved one that too, a Super Fluid Display on a 6.7-inch QHD 120Hz screen with a resolution of 2772*1240 and a 450 PPI. This is a flagship quality display with a brightness of typically 500 nits and with a peak of 1450 nits, making it highly usable outdoors.
It comes with all the support you want like HDR 10+, and SGS Low Blue Light Ex and also covers 100% DCI P3 color gamut, having a rich contrast which makes everyday usage smooth AF. Now, coming with ADFR 2.0 tech on an LTPS display, means the display adapts to the refresh rate that the app or UI demands, conserving battery life.
Also, the HyperTouch Engine helps enhance the scrolling and touch-screen experience, to be fair I enjoyed my brief usage of the display. Even for gaming also, the display is smooth and with low latency, the OnePlus 11R is a comparable flagship smartphone to its brother OnePlus 11 5G in terms of display and that’s a huge positive for a phone at Rs.40k pricing.
The display also comes with TÜV SÜD Precise Touching S Rating and it is evident that OnePlus has no cost cutting here. Personally, in my brief usage, I loved using it for my daily usage and for media consumption too, this OnePlus 11R has become one of my favourites!
Performance
When the OnePlus 11R was announced, I was pretty confident about a smooth everyday performance because the Qualcomm chipset is still one of the best in the market. The last-gen flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is still a powerful chip and is based on TSMC’s 4nm process its very refined, on top of that, having the same 3D Cooling System with crypto-velocity vapour chamber as the OnePlus 11 5G, this OnePlus 11R is made for heavy users.
With up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, in terms of memory, too this OnePlus device is a solid performer. Now with its advanced RAM management system, OnePlus promises one can open up to 44 applications and keep them active in the background.
While I didn’t have much time to check all of that but I did notice no stutter or lag of any sort, a totally smooth performance, just what you expect from a flagship. While we will test this OnePlus 11R more and bring a detailed review but here are quick benchmark tests we ran:
As you see in all the benchmarks, the OnePlus 11R’s numbers speak for themselves, and are very well optimized and supported with good RAM & storage, be it any benchmark, the numbers look damn impressive! From AnTuTu to Geekbench, the numbers are really good, it doesn’t even heat up when running these tests and so, in our detailed review will be excited to bring a detailed gaming analysis as well.
Camera
A new triple camera system on the OnePlus 11R brings a plethora of improvements over the last-gen 10R, thanks to a new 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, the same present on the flagship OnePlus 11 as well. However, the ultra-wide camera is only 8MP and you have a useless 2MP Macro lens, so I won’t say it’s bad but you understand where OnePlus had cut corners compared to its flagship brother.
Yes, the primary camera supports OIS, you have a 120-degree ultra-wide camera, and the camera improvements are noticeable when compared to last-gen. Also, pairing a Qualcomm ISP with a sharper and more detailed Sony IMX890 sensor results in better photography and the snaps we took was far more bright.
The Image Clarity Engine 2.0 brings much better color reproduction when you compare it to the OnePlus 10R and the phone capture moments faster. Though we couldn’t do a detailed camera review here’s a quick camera test we could do in a day:
In daytime shots, the 50MP primary sensor really performs very well, both in terms of sharpness and color accuracy, the image processing is fast and mostly accurate. When its AI is used, it detects objects accurately and optimizes the photos accordingly, mostly giving us a good result.
Mostly, it does a good job but sometimes struggles indoors when light is low, colors are good but not lifelike and still worthy to post on social media.
In most daily usage, the OnePlus 11R’s camera shines to post really impressive shots, take this dia for example or capture products or objects like the iPhone on my hands, or green plants and even toys.
In terms of food photography too, the focus was right and the shots were good but the colors were a bit saturated and on the warmer side rather than pointing to the naturalness. However, sometimes it took better shots than even the OnePlus 11 5G which we are testing as well, so it depends completely on the scenario.
During the night, it struggles even further but still delivers sharp images if you zoom in the ultra-wide camera could have been better but is still usable. We didn’t get the time to test the macro lens, so expect a better photography test in our full review.
Lastly, coming to selfies, the 16MP camera, much expectedly is decent and colors are also well reproduced, but obviously, more testing is required before passing on any judgement, so for a deeper camera test please wait for our full review of this OnePlus 11R. However, if you talk in terms of first impressions, the camera will do the job for most Indians out there and I am confident of that as I see a huge improvement over the predecessor OnePlus 10R.
OS & Software
OxygenOS is still there based on Android 13 with some ColorOS integrations which have to be taken into mind but still, I would say it’s a clean experience with no bloatware. OnePlus has also been careful in pushing timely updates and has guaranteed to push 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of Security, making this to be future-proof.
Buttons/Ports & Connectivity
Here too, the OnePlus 11R will give you no areas of complaint with dual 5G support, WiFi 6E and the latest Bluetooth 5.3 support. Though I used it for only a day, had no issues with Jio 5G and the Wi-Fi too worked well with good network reception, on the other hand, Bluetooth 5.3 is good to have to help use the smartphone in the long run.
OnePlus has also used dual Bluetooth antenna for better Bluetooth performance, here are all the 5G bands it supports in India: n1/n3/n5/n8/n28A/n40/n41/n77/n78. The biggest restoration OnePlus has ever done will be the Alert Slide undoubtedly and the rest, the volume +/- keys, and power key, all are in the exact same position as you see on the OnePlus 11 5G on the metal frame, making it even more premium.
Not only this, OnePlus has added IR Remote Controller to the 11R, which is again a good-to-have feature nevertheless and you also have NFC enabled. We will bring a detailed analysis of this in our full review article, stay tuned!
Audio, Earpiece & Microphone
The audio on this OnePlus 11R is again top-notch, thanks to Dual Stereo Speakers, the sound is amazing, loud and without any distortion. The earpiece worked well for me but have to test it on a daily basis to make a statement on the earpiece or microphone, so as per first impressions, it looks good.
Battery life & Charging
I liked the fact that OnePlus has not used the gimmicky 150W SuperVOOC charging which I think is completely unnecessary and has worked on the efficiency of the battery. Having the same 5,000 mAh split into two 2,500 mAh units help faster charging and reduces overheating along with other battery issues.
The OnePlus 11R has the same 100W SUPERVOOC charging support as its brother, assuring a fast 25 minutes of full charge which in 2023 is very good. GaN tech is used to improve charge efficiency and the SUPERVOOC S Battery Management Chipset has its own benefits to improve the charge cycle for better everyday charging.
Having the same Battery Health Engine which is present in the OnePlus 11 ensures that your OnePlus 11R is secured to have a better battery in the long-run thanks to Smart Battery Health Algorithm and Battery Healing Technology. As a part of the new OnePlus software, you can see your battery’s health via settings much like its expensive brother.
Undoubtedly, the new OnePlus 11R is impressive and looks enticing for its Rs.40k pricing also you can a OnePlus Buds Z2 free if you pre-order, but as my usage is very brief I cannot make a statement just yet. However, by the looks of it, the new OnePlus 11R is a promising smartphone much better than the 2022 OnePlus flagships, and truly deserves to be called the 2023 flagship killer!
Gigabyte has listed several unreleased GeForce RTX 4070 graphics cards in a variety of VRAM flavours with capacities ranging from 4 to 16 GB. The six cards are listed as GeForce RTX 4070 series graphics cards, with memory capacities of 10GB, 12GB, and 16GB. It should be noted that the GPUs listed are part of the GeForce RTX 4070 non-Ti graphics card, which is set to be released in April.
The AD104-250/251 GPU core is expected to power the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. The GPU will have 5888 CUDA cores and 12 GB GDDR6X VRAM clocked at 21 Gbps. There appear to be three PCB boards designed for the GeForce RTX 4070 graphics cards.

The six new SKUs may not be on the final list, as the previously cancelled NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 12GB graphics card is still listed on the site. The graphics card list is also part of a “game bundle giveaway” that started in January and will run until the end of this month. Aside from the memory specifications, the only information available is that the company may be releasing an RTX 4070 non-Ti graphics card soon.
Here are the listed GeForce RTX 4070 graphics cards:
The graphics card is expected to have a 200W TGP rather than a 220W TGP, resulting in a 10% power reduction. Also worth noting is that the GeForce RTX 4070 core configuration is very similar to the RTX 3070, which also has 5888 cores, but the successor includes the Ada GPU core, which should bring not only extra performance but also higher efficiency. The card is also said to be clocked at 1920 MHz base and 2475 MHz boost clocks, giving it roughly 30 TFLOPs of compute power.
After introducing the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 to the world, OnePlus is anticipated to release the Nord Buds 2, a new pair of inexpensive TWS earbuds. The headphones are listed on the FCC, Bluetooth SIG, BIS, and other certification websites.
The company’s website now lists these earbuds as well. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will reportedly go on sale in India by the end of the month, or March 2023, according to well-known tipster Mukul Sharma.
Some of the Nord Buds 2’s specs were released through the most recent FCC listing.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2 are indeed launching soon in India. Expect the TWS to launch in the country by next month. Have spotted the buds on the company's Indian website.#OnePlusNordBuds2pic.twitter.com/3lB0HfI1ky
The earbuds will support charging at up to 4.5W, according to the listing. The shell has a 480mAh battery, while the earbuds have a 41mAh battery apiece. 22.27 x 9.29 x 0.11 mm will be the case’s measurements, while Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity will be provided by the TWS.
The presence of Bluetooth 5.3 is unquestionably an improvement over the Nord Buds, even though we are unsure of other characteristics. As a result, the battery life of the gadget will be increased and it will use less energy.
The Nord Buds’ specifications reveal that they have an IP55 water and dust-resistant rating, a 12.4mm titanium dynamic driver, and Bluetooth 5.2. Each earbud contains a 41mAh battery with a power backup of up to 7 hours. Playback is extended by 23 hours due to the case.
Returnal made its PC debut to generally positive reviews from both critics and fans. While the game’s port went well, there are some technical issues that need to be addressed, which is what the latest Returnal patch aims to do.
Returnal was released as a PS5 exclusive on April 30, 2021. Some fans praised the game for its unique gameplay loop, intriguing story, and excellent gameplay mechanics. Returnal was a hit for Sony, and the game went on to win a slew of awards the following year, including a BAFTA for best game. Given the recent influx of PlayStation exclusives ported to PC, some fans hoped for a playable version of Returnal for PC.
While some Returnal fans are pleased with the PC port, there are a few minor issues that need to be addressed, which this recent patch does. This patch was small, as it only addressed a few minor details, but these were the only changes brought about by the patch. The rare but common bug in which the music would stop when entering a new biome has been fixed, and the game no longer has the error where it would not detect the entire screen, which is important for wide-screen players.
credit: gamespot
Returnal Patch Notes:
Fix for rare issue with music stopping during Biome entry
Fix for certain Ultra-wide monitor setups not being detected in Full Screen
Fix for incorrectly detecting the Windows resolution on first boot
Fix for grass draw distance on Epic Particle settings
Fix for PSN Sign in time-outs
Fix for Benchmark results rounding error
That was all this patch had to address; aside from a few minor bugs and some black screen issues, which have been fixed, the port is a huge success. While some fans have enjoyed the game, they claim that the game’s high PC requirements are too demanding for the majority of players and what they currently play on.

The Women in Blues have emerged victoriously over Ireland and hence have booked their tickets to the semi-final in the t20 world cup. Earlier in the tournament, India locked horns with Pakistan, West Indies, and England and was able to secure victory over the initial two but faced a defeat against the English women. However, the loss didn’t affect the strong Indian team much, and with one more victory over the Irish women, they punched their ticket to the semis.
Smriti’s incredible knock helps India to win with ease
Smriti Mandhana’s incredible knock primarily helped his team to achieve victory with relative ease. She scored an outstanding knock of 87 of 56 balls which included nine fours and three sixes. No other woman was able to stand strong; hence Smriti’s vital knock led India to a defendable total of 155, with the loss of 6 wickets.
Though it would have been a clean match if rain interference wouldn’t have been there, with the DLS method, Ireland was needed to score 60 in 9 overs, but India limited them within 54 with the loss of 2 wickets. With this victory, the women in blues will next be seen in the semi-finals, and their opposition is yet to be decided.
Will India be able to reach the finals?
India has been doing well thus far in the world cup, with several players serving efficiently for the women’s cricket team. Talking Shefali Verma, Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, and Deepti Sharma have been doing well, and it is expected that the women in blues will clear their path toward the finals and will hunt down the trophy too. However, it is to be seen who are the opponents they face in the semis. On the other hand, Australia has also reached the semi-finals and is all set to create their way to the final showdown.
FIFA have announced plans for the expansion of the Club World Cup to 32 teams from 2025. The new-look tournament will be played between June and July, and will feature teams from all over the world participating.
UEFA will have 12 teams participating, while CONMEBOL will send six teams to the tournament. The Oceania Football Confederation will send one team, whereas the The Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) will send four teams each. The last remaining spot will go to the host country.
FIFA Club World Cup format to change significantly from 2025
🚨 The new Club World Cup with 32 teams will start in June/July 2025.
It is as of yet unclear how the different teams will be selected for the competition. From Europe, how many teams from the Champions League, Europa League or Europa Conference League will be selected is expected to be revealed later on.
With the participation from clubs on such a large scale, FIFA can expect to add more revenue to their books. They recently announced a record-breaking figure of $7.6 billion between 2019-2022. And there are expectations of the revenue shooting up to $11 billion between the period of 2023-2026.
With the new format of the Club World Cup, FIFA will have a lot more viewership on one of their organised tournaments. However, the question of player fatigue will also come into play since the schedule is already so packed.
The prospect of the European Super League replacing the Champions League remains a possibility. And it will be interesting to see how things play out on the organisational front over the coming years.
There is a title race in the Bundesliga for a change. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are locked in a battle for the league title yet again. But, they are joined by the unlikeliest contenders – Union Berlin.
The capital club are level on points with both the giants of the league, and have had an unbelievable season so far. However, their challenge could be cut short by the Rekordmeister themselves, since their next match is against Bayern Munich.
Bundesliga title race – Bayern, Dortmund and Union level on points
Since the turn of the year, Bayern Munich have only won three of their six games. And considering their unstoppable record in the German top flight, it is a rarity for such a drop in form.
During their previous meeting in the Bundesliga, Union were able to take a point at home. And since then, Bayern have dropped points on multiple occasions. Most recently, they lost against Borussia Monchengladbach 3-2, with Yann Sommer failing to get the win against his former club.
Dortmund have put together a winning run of six games in the Bundesliga, and have recovered from their shaky start to the season. It remains to be seen whether they can continue their impressive streak to put together a title challenge that can be taken seriously.
The next Der Klassiker will take place on April 1, and could play an important part in the title race. However, Union Berlin cannot be counted out given how determined their performances have been this season.
