ASUS ROG will be getting a new 18-inch Gaming Laptop to compete with Alienware & Razer

ASUS has hinted that it is working on a new 18-inch ROG gaming laptop to compete with Alienware and Razer. ASUS is responding to the impending 18-inch gaming laptops from Razer and Alienware. ROG “Big guy,” as the Weibo account “Lonely City-Hardware” exhibited on their profile, is set to be formally presented by ROG during next year’s CES 2023 Launch event on January 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. PST.

The video shows off the new gaming laptop’s edge RGB lighting and a startlingly colourful and clean image. Little is known, but the new ASUS ROG 18-inch gaming laptop is said to use the Intel 13th Gen Core Raptor Lake HX processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series mobile chip.

As this new ASUS ROG 18-inch gaming laptop hint follows both Alienware and Razer announcements, 2023 could be the year of larger and more powerful laptops for gamers and enthusiasts that can compete with a full-decked PC system.

The next-generation Blade 18 laptop from Razer has already leaked, while Alienware suggested that they were looking into the 18-inch gaming laptop category and have begun to hint at their own “monstrous” design.

According to IT Home, Alienware last released an 18.4-inch gaming laptop in the previous decade, with models M18X, M18X R2, M18X R3, and others. So, about a decade ago, the final Alienware 18-inch gaming laptop offered an Intel Gen Core i-4910MQ quad-core CPU, a 512 GB and 1 TB hard drive, the NVIDIA GTX 980M series GPU, and 32 GB of dual-channel DDR3L-1600 memory.

AMD, NVIDIA and Intel’s CES 2023 presentations confirmed

0

The CES 2023 is just around the corner and major silicon giants will take this opportunity to showcase their next-gen innovations on stage in Las Vegas. As we expect, three of the superpowers in this field, AMD, Intel and NVIDIA, of them will be showcasing their latest innovations and offerings at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, scheduled at the start of January 2023.

Here are the key dates of all these three companies and their expected keynotes at the CES 2023:

NVIDIA – 3rd January 2023, 8:00 AM PT or 9:30 PM IST

The Green team will be the first this time to address the enthusiasts via a virtual “Special Address” which means it will not be a live stream but a rebroadcasted video and not an in-person address. Last time too the company CEO Jensen Huang didn’t take the stage all by himself and as of now, there’s no confirmation of his presence, we suspect it will not be the CEO with his leather jacket to address the public.

In terms of what you can expect from NVIDIA, we kind of know, the CES 2023 will be the gateway to introducing the latest RTX 40-series mobile graphics and its one of the very first keynotes because after that laptop OEMs will be able to launch new gaming laptops with these new NVIDIA GPUs.

Also, gamers will get their hands-on on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti which has been leaked multiple times in the last few weeks and it is confirmed by rumours the tentative launch date of this GPU will be January 5th, two days post the CES 2023 launch.

AMD, NVIDIA and Intel's CES 2023 presentations confirmed

AMD – 4th January 2023, 6:30 PM PT or 8:00 AM IST

The Red team, in past few years, has been very dominant at the CES and has taken the opportunity to showcase a series of products that has caught the world by storm. Now, its been confirmed by AMD that its CEO Dr. Lisa Su, will be attending the event in person at the Venetian Palazzo Ballroom on January 4th, a day after also we suppose to have a live stream of the event.

Obviously, the event will enable its amazing CEO to again take the stage and launch new products including the seemingly confirmed Ryzen 7000 non-X desktop series processors, and Ryzen 7000 mobile CPUs alongside RDNA3-based laptop GPUs as well. Considering AMD’s huge diversity in their lineup, the event should be one of the most interesting to keep an eye on.

Intel

The only silicon giant left is Intel, who didn’t confirm which day it will host an event, however, it’s confirmed the Blue team will be participating at CES 2023 as well, much like every year. If we do get any info from Intel PR prior to the event, we will surely share it, however, as of now, it’s highly likely Intel is planning its schedule accordingly.

If you anticipate what’s coming from Intel, you will pretty much know that the Blue team will also be announcing its 13th Gen Core non-K desktop CPU series to counter AMD. Also, Intel will be launching its 13th Gen mobile processor including multiple HX/HK/H/P/U series, so, do keep an eye on that.

Lastly, they will finally unveil their Core i9-13900KS flagship Raptor Lake processor with 6GHz clock speed which they promised to unveil soon, seemingly at CES 2023.

Oppo and OnePlus are signing a new strategic partnership

0

Just days after OnePlus rolled out the cans to celebrate its ninth anniversary, the company has concertedly blazoned strategic cooperation with Oppo. The new collaboration between the Chinese brands will see Oppo stake up to 10 billion yuan($1.43 billion) in OnePlus up to 2025. nominated Binary- brand strategy, it’ll make OnePlus the colonist brand of flagship smartphones from the brace.

OnePlus Announces Partnership With OPPO

The terms of the cooperation also indicate that OnePlus products will have a zero net profit periphery to help maintain the stylish features and quality. Oppo’s Research Institute’s slice-edge technology will be listed toward OnePlus channel sharing. OnePlus products will be vended simply online in China. guests will also be suitable to enjoy form services at Oppo’s service centers across the country.

As of this moment, Oppo’s online stores in China presently have the rearmost OnePlus smartphones and accessories listed. There are over 5,000 Oppo offline stores across the country, while over 1,000 service centers are available.

Oppo and OnePlus are signing a new strategic partnership

As a fallout of the new and enhanced cooperation, the OnePlus community app has been relaunched in China. This will stimulate discussion among OnePlus suckers in China about everything OnePlus. The new cooperation seems completely concentrated on the China operations of both brands. There are other hookups in the transnational firmament between Oppo and OnePlus and these continue to blossom.

The Oppo investment in OnePlus indicates that a normal of 3.3 billion yuan will be invested in OnePlus annually. This portends a rapid-fire growth line for both companies. It’s anticipated that the product of flagship smartphones from the binary-brand cooperation could battle for a knob of the share in the original request. Although both companies have yet to give a full outlook, the prospects feel encouraging.

AMD Ryzen 7000 Non-X CPUs specifications leaks Online

0

Final specifications and pricing for AMD’s forthcoming Ryzen 7000 Non-X CPU lineup for the AM5 platform have been revealed. The AMD Ryzen 7000 Non-X CPU range is no secret, we have seen specifications and prices of these processors leak out in earlier leaks but the latest slide deck that comes from Videocardz not only confirms those but also the chips these Zen 4 parts will be competing against. As always, the trio of CPUs will be employing the 5nm Zen 4 core architecture and will be a modest tweak of the existing Zen 4 SKUs.

AMD Ryzen 9 7900

The AMD Ryzen 9 7900 processor will have 12 cores, 24 threads, 76 MB of cache (64 MB L3 + 12 MB L3), and a maximum clock speed of 5.4 GHz. The CPU will price at $429 US which is a difference of $120 US versus the Ryzen 9 7900X. While the base clock remains to be seen, the boost clock sees a 200 MHz reduction but at the price point, this 12-core chip looks incredible & I can already imagine a lot of consumers moving to this sub-$500 US 12-Core Zen 4 chip. AMD will place the processor alongside the Intel Core i9-13900 and Core i9-12900 CPUs.

AMD Ryzen 7 7700

The Ryzen 7 7700 comes next, with 8 cores, 16 threads, 40 MB of cache (32 MB L3 + 8 MB L3), and a maximum clock speed of up to 5.3 GHz. The CPU will cost $329 USD, which is $70 USD less than the Ryzen 7 7700X, which costs $399 USD. The Ryzen 7 7700 looks to be clocked just 100 MHz lower than the Ryzen 7 7700X which is impressive given its 65W power budget. Given the 1.375x multiplier for the PPT, the total TDP should be approximately 90-100W. The Ryzen 7 7700 will be positioned against the Core i7-13700 and Core i7-12700.

AMD Ryzen 5 7600

Finally, the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 will include 6 cores, 12 threads, 38MB of cache (32MB L3 + 6MB L2), and a maximum clock speed of up to 5.1GHz. The CPU will cost $229 USD, which is $70 USD less than the Ryzen 5 7600X, which costs $299 USD. The boost clock is 200 MHz lower than the ‘X’ chip. The Ryzen 5 7600 will be positioned against the Core i5-13600 & Core i5-12600 CPUs.

AMD

AMD is advertising that these chips will come with either a Wraith Prism (Ryzen 9 7900 / Ryzen 7 7700) or a Wraith Stealth (Ryzen 5 7600) CPU cooler. Now Intel will also bundle its Non-K 13th Gen CPUs with its brand new Laminar series coolers based on the TDP spec so both chipmakers will have a small value added for mainstream users but we still suggest that users get aftermarket cooling options if they have the budget to get the most out of the CPU.

Overall, the chips appear to give the best performance per dollar value on the AM5 platform, and we may see cheaper A620 motherboards by the middle of 2023. AMD Ryzen 7000X3D 3D V-Cache CPUs will also be unveiled at CES 2023. The Non-X processors will be available in stores on January 10th.

Oppenheimer: Nolan’s Sci-fi thriller Exploits One of the titular Aspects of Quantum Physics

0

Christopher Nolan’s new atomic thriller film ‘Oppenheimer‘ has got an official trailer through Universal Pictures. The upcoming sci-fi adaptation covers the life and ethically questionable accolades of the great physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the man behind the atomic bomb invention. We all are more or less aware of the Manhattan Project, Oppenheimer is one of the direct contributors to this project. The government research focused on the nuclear weapons that takes place in the period of 1942-1946.

Oppenheimer

In this trailer, the father of the atomic bomb, a nuclear physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer said, “Now I become death, the destroyer of worlds” as he focused on the first detonation of the weapon due to the mass destruction of the weapon. Cillian Murphy explaining about the detonation that might have destroyed very well in the first trailer via Nolan’s new project, ‘Oppenheimer’. Murphy appears as an invertible scientist in the adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer via Kal Bird.

The sci-fi trailer starts with the introduction of Oppenheimer, who is a troubled man whose flaws have been ignored for his brilliance. While he asked to end the Second World War, he indicates nuclear weapons as the only hope secretly developed in the desert having some destructive powers to eliminate anyone from this battle. The horrific fact is he is trying to large-scale the development of the bomb. This move is like throwing the enemies into the gigantic fire pit and engulfing them automatically. The only limitation he gets is the explosion not only just destroys the U.S.’s enemies but also the entire world by damaging the atmosphere.

However, a timer ticks down, and slowly the music indicates catastrophic consequences need to be cleared as the launch is near.

Oppenheimer: Cast

The atomic thriller features Emily Blunt playing the opposite of Murphy. The other cast members are Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Kenneth Branagh, Gary Oldman, Robert Downey Jr., Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Alden Ehentich, David Krumholts, Michael Angarano, and Matthias Schweighofer.

Will ‘Oppenheimer’ be the only Breakthrough in Nolan’s Career?

The name Christopher Nolan itself is a brand from the beloved Dark Knight to the mind-blowing Inception, and Interstellar, Nolan has an addiction to representing the blockbusters to the audience. On maintaining the lofty standard Oppenheimer will become a popular masterpiece.

The visual effects director Andrew Jackson takes the film visuals to another level. The creator and the entire team generated the whole Los Alamos where the Trinity test took place with the Quantum physics work Oppenheimer and his team had done to create the bomb. In this film, Murphy has faced a lot of challenges to do the homework properly.

Oppenheimer: Release Date

The movie Oppenheimer will detonate into the theaters on 21st July 2023.

Here is the trailer:

FIFA World Cup 2022: Best XI from the tournament

0

The 2022 World Cup is now in the history books, with Argentina emerging as the winners. A number of players have been mighty impressive throughout the campaign, and in this article, we will take a look at the best line-up from the tournament.

World Cup 2022 Best XI

GK: Dominik Livakovic, Croatia

The Croatian keeper was the hero for two penalty shootouts in the knockout stages, eliminating the mighty Brazil before bowing out against Argentina. He made a record 10 saves against the Selecao, and has been nothing short of phenomenal throughout the tournament.

LB: Theo Hernandez, France

Called to the line-up after an injury to his brother in the opening minutes of their World Cup title defence, Theo Hernandez performed exceptionally well. He was the first player to score against Morocco all tournament, but ended up in second place.

CB: Romain Saiss, Morocco

Passion, resilience and strength are all traits that the Morocco captain personified during their miraculous semi-final run. The presence of Saiss was essential to their success, and he was one of the clear standout defenders at the World Cup.

CB: Josko Gvardiol, Croatia

Despite being only 20 years old, Gvardiol played with maturity beyond his years for Croatia. He was, however, humbled by Messi in their semifinal meeting, but that doesn’t take away from the performances during the remainder of the tournament.

RB: Achraf Hakimi, Morocco

The PSG right-back was the star player for his country, and was cruising down the flank for Morocco. His brilliance had a lot to do as they made it to the semi-finals, before eventually being defeated by France.

CM: Sofyan Amrabat, Morocco

Amrabat provided a masterclass in every knockout stage game that the Atlas Lions played. His grit and determination in the heart of the park was on full display throughout their campaign, and the Fiorentina man has truly made a name for himself at the grandest stage.

CM: Enzo Fernandez, Argentina

Fernandez was named the young player of the tournament for his domination of the central areas throughout the tournament. He scored a remarkable curling effort against Mexico, and was a consistent threat until the very end.

CAM: Antoine Griezmann, France

From being a winger, to a centre-forward, to a playmaker, and now a midfielder, Antoine Griezmann has been extremely versatile when required. His defensive work rate made up for the absence of N’Golo Kante, and he also provided an immense threat going forward, making it extremely difficult for opponents to keep up.

LW: Kylian Mbappe, France

Mbappe finished as the Golden Boot winner for scoring the most goals at the World Cup with 8 to his name. And despite scoring a hat-trick in the finals, Les Bleus ended up on the losing side on penalties.

ST: Olivier Giroud, France

Giroud is now the all-time highest goalscorer for France, having surpassed Thierry Henry. The AC Milan forward scored four goals at the World Cup, and could further his tally now that Karim Benzema has called it a day on his international career.

RW: Lionel Messi, Argentina

The Golden Ball winner, Messi had seven goals and three assists during the World Cup. He was back to his best at the tournament, winning five man of the match awards out of seven. And the iconic forward completes the lineup of the best eleven at the World Cup.

Apple reportedly working on new updated Pro Display XDR with MacBook Pro Models coming in early 2023

0

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is working on several new external monitors, including an updated version of the high-end Pro Display XDR that debuted alongside the Mac Pro in December 2019.

Gurman stated in his email that the new monitors will be driven by Apple hardware, similar to how the Studio Display is powered by an A13 Bionic chip. He did not provide any other details, or a schedule for the displays launching, but indicated that an all-new Mac Pro is further advanced in development compared to the updated Pro Display XDR.

It’s unclear whether one of the new displays will come with an updated Studio Display. According to display industry consultant Ross Young, Apple intends to release a new monitor with a 27-inch mini-LED display in the first quarter of 2023. Based on those specifications, it’s probable that this monitor is a new Studio Display with ProMotion.

Introduced alongside the Mac Studio in March, the Studio Display costs at $1,599. The display boasts a 27-inch panel with 5K quality and a 12-megapixel Ultra Wide camera. The higher-end Pro Panel XDR starts at $4,999 and includes a 32-inch display with 6K resolution and no camera.

In Other news, Apple plans to deliver new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M2 Pro and M2 Max processor options “early next year,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

Apple
credit: macrumors

Aside from enhanced CPU possibilities and maybe speedier RAM, no big changes are planned for the forthcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. The current 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M1 Pro and M1 Max CPUs were announced in October 2021 with an all-new design that included a notch in the display as well as the return of an HDMI connection, MagSafe, and an SD card reader. Because Macs often spend several years between redesigns, a little spec boost in 2023 seems plausible.

Apple
credit: macrumors

Gurman also stated that a new iMac with an M3 chip will “probably launch at the end of 2023 at the earliest,” without providing any other information. The current iMac launched in April 2021 with the M1 chip and a sleek, colourful design, and Gurman previously indicated Apple wanted to forego launching an iMac with the M2 chip.

He noted that Apple is still interested in a new iMac Pro with Apple silicon, but that there have been internal delays. According to Gurman, Apple is also testing new Mac mini models with M2 and M2 Pro CPU options, although no release date has been announced.

Lionel Messi lifted the 2022 World Cup trophy as the captain of a victorious Argentina national team. He also took home the trophy for the player of the tournament, and broke an entire list of records at the tournament.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has won every trophy available to him for club and country now. And in this article, we will be taking a look at all the records that the 34-year-old has broken over the last month.

The Argentine has also played more World Cup minutes than Paolo Maldini, who held the record for the most played at the finals. His five man of the match awards earned at the 2022 edition put him past all other players at the tournament, with the most to his name.

He is the only player to have won two Golden Balls, once in 2014 and now in 2022. Lionel Messi is also the first player to score in the group stage, the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and final in a single edition of a World Cup.

Before even kicking the ball in the finals of the 2022 World Cup, Lionel Messi became the player with the most World Cup appearances. He has now made 26 appearances, and has a winner’s medal to show for all that he has given to the sport.

Top 5 players with the most World Cup appearances

5. Cristiano Ronaldo – 22

Ronaldo holds the record for the most international goals, and has one of the most World Cup appearances too. He hasn’t reached the last four of the tournament, but has been a legendary presence for the national team during his time.

The German forward is the all-time top scorer at the World Cup, with 16 goals to his name. None of them have come from penalties. Klose lifted the trophy in 2014, and is also the all-time top scorer for the Germany national team.

2. Lothar Matthaus – 25

Matthaus, yet another Germany icon, held the record for the most World Cup appearances before Messi played yesterday. He captained Germany to the 1990 World Cup, and won the subsequent Ballon d’Or for his contributions to the team.

1. Lionel Messi – 26

The Argentina skipper won the World Cup in what could be his final appearance at the tournament. He was also named the player of the tournament for scoring seven goals and providing ten assists. He reached the finals in 2014, and has now gotten his hands on the trophy at last.
