Bha Bha Ba: Dileep’s Spectacular Return That Fans Can’t Miss This December

Malayalam cinema is all set to welcome back superstar Dileep with the much-anticipated action-comedy thriller Bha Bha Ba (short for Bhayam, Bhakthi, Bahumanam), scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on December 18, 2025. Directed by debutant Dhananjay Shankar and produced under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies, this vibrant entertainer has stirred exciting buzz among audiences, blending humor, drama, and stylish visuals alongside a compelling storyline.

The official teaser dropped in late 2023, revealing Dileep’s vintage and rugged avatar lighting a cigarette with a sparkler stick, introducing the film’s madcap tone with the tagline “#AzhinjattamThudangiyalo.” The film’s screenplay is penned by the clever duo of Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef, promising sharp dialogues and a tightly woven plot.

Adding to the excitement is the surprise cameo by Malayalam megastar Mohanlal, whose narration heightens the anticipation, while the promising presence of Vineeth and Dhyan Sreenivasan adds depth to the ensemble. Set against scenic locales like Pollachi, Coimbatore, and Kochi, the cinematography by Armo captures the rustic yet glamorous aesthetic of the film.

Bha Bha Ba: Film Overview

The film narrates the story of Godson Ancharakandy (played by Dhyan Sreenivasan), and the intriguing chase around him, with Vineeth Sreenivasan’s character playing a key role in this chaotic yet thrilling journey. The blend of humor and action is expected to make this film a standout mass entertainer aimed at family audiences, showcasing Dileep’s versatile talents after a series of introspective roles.

A notable moment in the promotional campaign was a nod to the iconic Tamil film Ghilli (2004), with Dileep’s car in the poster sporting a license plate reminiscent of Vijay’s vehicle from the blockbuster, delighting fans with its nostalgic reference.
