What Is Dutton Ranch About?
Dutton Ranch is a direct sequel to Yellowstone, following Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) after a wildfire destroys their home and ranch in Dillon, Montana. With Carter in tow, the couple relocates to a small town in South Texas to start over — only to find that Rio Paloma is every bit as dangerous, politically charged, and ruthless as the world they left behind.
The main antagonist emerging from the premiere is Beulah Jackson and her sprawling 10 Petal mega ranch, a powerful local family that appears to control the town in ways the Duttons are only beginning to understand.
