Barcelona vs Feyenoord: Match Details

Team News

Barcelona face a defensive crunch — Pau Cubarsí and Rodri are suspended, while Frenkie de Jong, Roony Bardghji, and Jesse Bisiwu remain sidelined through injury. Despite that, Lamine Yamal and Fermín López have been electric, combining for a huge share of Barça’s 17 goals in four league games this season.

Feyenoord, unbeaten across five Eredivisie outings, come in without Thomas Beelen. Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side will lean on Tsuyoshi Watanabe and Anis Hadj Moussa to trouble a Barça backline that’s suddenly missing its first-choice centre-back pairing.

Probable Lineups

Barcelona (4-3-3): Joan García; Koundé, Eric García, Gerard Martín, Balde; Pedri, Fermín López, De Jong; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Yamal

Feyenoord (4-3-3): Ernst; Read, Watanabe, St. Juste, Márfmol; Targhalline, Zechiël, Vanhoutte; Diarra, Ferri, Valente

Prediction

Barcelona’s attacking quality — Yamal, Raphinha and López have been unstoppable — should be enough to overcome their depleted defence at home. Expect a high-tempo game with goals at both ends, but the hosts remain clear favourites to open their European campaign with three points.
