Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s roadmap unveiled: Siege of Paris Expansion coming soon

Ubisoft has just announced the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion, i.e. Siege of Paris expansion, during its Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 event. This will be a great addition to the already superb part 1 of the game announced last year, announcing the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s own Discovery Tour.

This second year of DLC content adds a new region, Francia, and re-creates the titular Viking battle. But the scope expands far beyond the future City of Lights, as Eivor undertakes new quests and forges alliances across the French countryside. 

Not only new areas, but also you will get new weapons, gear, skills, enemy types, and abilities, including Golden Flame sticky bombs. The new expansion will re-introduce Black Box Infiltration missions to the series, meaning it will give you a goal to accomplish like a target to eliminate – and then give you free rein to decide the best way to accomplish it.

To the south, the kingdom of Francia has unified under a single king for the first time in a hundred years. Charles the Fat, the great-grandson of Charlemagne, now wages a slow war against the Norse in Francia. England could be next. Ravensthorpe must make new allies in Francia to avoid the threat of war. A visitor will arrive at Ravensthorpe’s dock to launch the adventure.

The Siege of Paris will be available as part of the Season Pass (included in the Gold and Ultimate Editions of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla), or as a separate purchase.

Continuing in the tradition set by Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece, this new educational expansion will turn the game’s world into a nonviolent, interactive learning experience designed in close collaboration with historians and archaeologists. By stepping into the shoes of different characters from the era, you will take part in their big and small adventures while learning more about their daily lives and the history of ninth-century Norway and England.
