Twenty-two years of waiting. One Premier League title. And the small matter of a Champions League final the night before. Arsenal’s weekend is unlike anything English football has seen in a generation — and the celebrations are officially locked in.
The Wait Is Over — The Parade Is On
Arsenal’s Champions’ trophy parade will take place from 2PM BST on Sunday, May 31, 2026 — the day after Mikel Arteta’s side meet holders Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final in Budapest, for which the club will hold a live screening at the Emirates Stadium.
An official statement from Arsenal confirmed: “We are delighted to announce that we will come together with our supporters and community for a special parade around our home borough of Islington, starting from 2PM on Sunday 31 May, to celebrate our title.”

The Route
The club has confirmed the parade route, which shows the parade starting and ending near the Emirates Stadium, passing down Seven Sisters Road, Blackstock Road, Green Lanes, Essex Road, Upper Street and Holloway Road. It’s the heart of Islington — Arsenal’s home turf — and it’s going to be absolutely packed.
A Double Celebration on the Cards?
If Arsenal win the Champions League for the first time in their history at the Puskás Aréna on Saturday, they will celebrate with BOTH trophies during the open-top bus parade upon their return from Hungary. If not, the parade will still go ahead with the Premier League trophy.
Either way, north London will be a sea of red and white. But imagine both trophies on that bus — that would be the stuff of pure footballing legend.
Why May 31 Is the Absolute Deadline
The parade cannot take place any later than May 31, due to the fact that a number of Arsenal’s players will be reporting to their respective international teams ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Those players must be released on Monday, June 1, with schedules already laid down by FIFA and the various national teams. Arteta’s squad is literally celebrating between Premier League glory and a World Cup.
For those lucky enough to have a ticket for the Champions League final in Budapest, the timing is tight — they will need to be back in north London very soon after the game on Saturday night. Overnight flights and early trains are your best friend.
For official parade updates and crowd safety information, follow Arsenal FC’s official website and Islington Council’s transport advisory.
Whether it’s one trophy or two on that open-top bus Sunday afternoon, Arsenal are giving their fans a weekend they’ll be telling their grandchildren about. The Premier League is already theirs. Budapest awaits Saturday night. And North London? North London is ready to roar. Come on, you Gunners. 🔴🤍
