New Apple Stores Confirmed in Noida and Pune

As per a report by The Financial Express, Apple has finalized two new locations:

• Noida’s DLF Mall of India
• Kopa Mall in Pune

These two outlets will mark Apple’s third and fourth official stores in the country, joining Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi.

The upcoming Noida store will be Apple’s second in the Delhi-NCR region, while the Pune store will be a first for the city — a huge milestone for Apple enthusiasts in western India.

Bigger Plans: Expansion to Bengaluru and Mumbai

And that’s not all! Apple is also actively scouting locations for two more stores in Bengaluru and Mumbai. If these plans materialize, India will soon have a total of six Apple Stores — solidifying Apple’s long-term commitment to the Indian market.

Recruitment efforts are already underway. Over 20 new job postings were recently spotted on LinkedIn, mostly for retail roles, indicating that Apple is gearing up its workforce for these new stores. Each store is expected to employ around 90 to 100 staff members, similar to the current outlets.

Why India? Apple’s Growing Focus on the Indian Market

This expansion aligns with Apple’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in India. Here’s why India matters to Apple:

• India’s premium smartphone market is booming.
• Apple’s existing stores — especially Apple Saket and Apple BKC — generated a combined revenue of ₹800 crore in their first year.
• Apple is also ramping up iPhone manufacturing in India, aiming to produce up to 30 million units in 2025.
• With rising tariffs in the US on Chinese goods, India is becoming an even more critical manufacturing and retail hub for Apple.

Clearly, India isn’t just another market for Apple — it’s a key growth engine for the future.
