Apple is planning to introduce the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max as its flagship lineup in September, with Apple also expected to unveil the regular iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. In the past, it’s been that Pro models led creative new designs and features. Traditionally, the “Pro” models lead with innovative designs and features.
More About the Apple iPhone 16 Pro
The Apple iPhone 16 Pro is set to increase in size, featuring a 6.3-inch 120Hz Samsung M14 OLED Display with 1600 nits peak brightness (up from 6.1 inches). Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 16 models are not expected to undergo significant size changes. Apart from these size updates, major design revisions are not anticipated for the iPhone 16 models.
Apple is developing new A-series chips for the Apple iPhone 16 Pro models, leveraging the latest N3E 3-nanometer node to promise enhancements in efficiency and performance. The Action Button, currently available on Apple iPhone 15 Pro models only, may come to all iPhone 16 devices this fall with one of those cameras now also being a “Capture” camera specifically focusing on photography and homemade blockbuster videography.
Building off that, the Apple iPhone 16 Pro will come with Wi-Fi 7 and a bigger battery of about 3,577mAh. The dimensions are said to increase slightly but the thickness and weight of tabs will change little. iPhone 16 Pro will run on the new Apple A18 Pro chip, based on an N3E 3nm node, this model of iPhone’s performance and energy efficiency compared to his predecessors promise to be even better with details about these improvements in chips although not yet confirmed.
The Apple iPhone 16 Pro models will maintain the same layout for power, volume, and Action buttons seen in the iPhone 15 Pro series. Additionally, rumors suggest the introduction of a new “Capture” button aimed at enhancing the photography and videography experience.
Expected upgrades to the iPhone 16 Pro’s camera system include a 48 MP main camera, a 48 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12 MP 5x periscope telephoto lens. These models will support MagSafe accessories and are expected to be available in various color options, although specific details about these colors have not been confirmed.
