Apex Legends Season 21: Mastering the Interdimensional Madness with Alter

Gear up for a new legend with a mischievous grin! Apex Legends Season 21 brings Alter, the 26th Legend, to the chaotic world of the Games.

This enigmatic figure, masked in mystery with a connection to Horizon, utilizes powerful void abilities that will shake up your game play strategy. Let’s delve into Alter’s unique skillset and explore how to dominate the arenas with her inter dimensional ability.

Unveiling Alter’s Abilities: A Skirmisher with a Twist

As a Skirmisher Legend, Alter excels in flanking enemies and creating unexpected rotations. Her abilities revolve around manipulation of the void, a concept familiar to Wraith and Ash players. But Alter offers a fresh twist, making her a valuable asset to any squad composition.

Passive: Gift from the Rift (Scrounger on the go!)

See deathboxes through walls within a 75-meter radius. Snag essential loot (health, ammo, or even a weapon) from a distance, similar to Loba’s Black Market Boutique (but without the shield core swap),This passive keeps you stocked up without putting yourself in unnecessary danger.

Tactical: Void Passage (Breaching Walls Like a Boss)

Open a bi-directional portal through solid surfaces like walls and roofs, allowing you and your teammates to bypass obstacles and flank enemies. This ability offers incredible strategic depth. You can use it to breach fortified positions, escape sticky situations, or rotate quickly across the map. The portal has a limited range of 20 meters, keeping it balanced.

Ultimate: Void Nexus (The Ultimate Escape Hatch)

Deploy a device that creates a one-way portal lasting 120 seconds. You and your team can activate the portal at any point to teleport back to its location. This ability offers unparalleled escape options and allows for strategic re-positioning.

The catch? Enemies can also use the portal for 10 seconds after its activation, so be mindful of its placement. The truly “overpowered” aspect comes from the 200-meter activation range. You can be practically anywhere on the map and still teleport back to safety.

Level Up Your Game with Alter’s Legend Upgrades

Season 20 introduced Legend Upgrades, and Alter boasts a compelling selection to enhance her skillset:

Blue EVO Upgrades:

Frequent Nexus: Shave 30 seconds off your ultimate cooldown, allowing for more frequent teleports.

Seeing with Portals: Gain valuable intel by seeing enemy health and shields when they come out from your Void Passage.

Purple EVO Upgrades:

Unending Nexus: This upgrade truly pushes the boundaries. The Void Nexus becomes permanent, offering a constant safety net. However, consider the strategic implications before committing to this perk.

Tactical Cooldown+: Reduce your Tactical cooldown by 10 seconds for even more tactical maneuvering with Void Passage.

Dominating the Arena with Alter: Tips and Strategies

Here are some pointers to help you unleash Alter’s full potential:

Utilize the Gift from the Rift for strategic looting. Don’t risk venturing into the open for that last shield cell. Grab it from a safe distance!

Think creatively with Void Passage. Flank enemies, escape tight corners, or use it for mind-games by creating unexpected entry points.

Communicate effectively with your team. Let them know where you’re placing the Void Nexus for a quick escape or strategic repositioning.

Balance is key. While the Unending Nexus is tempting, consider the benefits of other upgrades that might suit your playstyle better.

Embrace the Chaos: Conclusion

Alter brings a unique blend of violent maneuvering and strategic repositioning to the Apex Games. With her void manipulation abilities and clever use of upgrades, she can be a game-changer. So, prepare to unleash some interdimensional mayhem and dominate the arenas with Alter!
