An Ordinary Man Sees One Thing He Shouldn’t Have — And His Life Unravels

Some of the scariest stories start with the most boring lives. I, Nobody leans fully into that idea — a government employee, husband, and father who’s lived unnoticed for years, until one wrong glance at the wrong moment turns his invisibility into a curse. With its censor certification now done and release just days away, here’s everything confirmed about Prithviraj Sukumaran’s next big swing.

What’s I, Nobody The Plot?

The official synopsis is refreshingly simple, yet unsettling: Rajeevan is “one among millions in a crowded city,” living an ordinary, unremarkable existence — until he witnesses something he was never meant to see, sending his routine life spiraling into chaos. It’s the kind of premise that thrives on tension building slowly rather than explosively, a hallmark often associated with thriller films built around ordinary people trapped in extraordinary danger.

The Supporting Cast Rounding It Out

Beyond the two leads, the film brings together a sizable ensemble including Hakkim Shahjahan, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Madhupal, Shankar Ramakrishnan, and several others — suggesting Rajeevan’s unraveling world pulls in a wide circle of people around him rather than staying a two-hander drama.

What’s Next For Prithviraj

I, Nobody is just one stop in a packed year for the actor. He’s set to headline the gold-trading actioner Khalifa opposite Mohanlal on August 20, followed by the folklore horror drama Odiyan with Manju Warrier. He’ll also appear as a key antagonist in the Mahesh Babu-Priyanka Chopra Jonas epic Varanasi, and stars alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan in the thriller Daayra, slated for September 18.

With this many releases lined up back-to-back, Prithviraj is clearly betting on range over repetition — swinging from slow-burn thriller to action epic to mythological horror within the same calendar year.
