Amkette EvoFox Phantom Pro Gaming Mouse review: Absolutely worth it for just Rs 799

I have been previously using the Logitech G102 Lightsync Gaming Mouse which I bought for around Rs 1,500. After using it for around 1 year, the mouse scroll has somewhat become less functional but overall I am quite satisfied.

So when Amkette sent us the EvoFox Phantom Pro Gaming Mouse, I was a bit sceptical at first seeing its price. However, much to my surprise I was taken aback after using the mouse and it has changed my perception of it.

Design and build quality

The Amkette EvoFox Phantom Pro Gaming Mouse is a full-sized ergonomically designed gaming mouse. It is a classic 7 button designed gaming mouse and all the 7 buttons are programmable and all are tested Huano 10 Million switch strokes. It has up to 6400 DPI sensors.

The mouse has a braided cable with a magnetic ring. The braided cable makes sure the wired connectivity of the mouse remains intact for a long time. The EvoFox logo along with a strip around the mouse has RGB lighting. It has Prism RGB lighting with 16 million colours. You can customise it according to your mood via the EvoFox Phantom Pro Mouse software.

I was a bit sceptical about the build quality of the mouse as it just costs Rs 799 and comes with so many features. However, the material of the mouse doesn’t feel cheap. The mouse is a bit on the heavier side weighing around 140g but that won’t be a problem as it feels smooth to use and fits perfectly into the palm.

Comfort of use

I usually prefer to play video games to help me relax after a long day’s work. The Amkette EvoFox Phantom Pro Gaming Mouse offers both features to me. It can be used quite comfortably while doing your work and can also quickly switch to a gaming mouse while playing games.

The mouse is a bit on the heavier side weighing around 140g but that won’t be a problem as it feels smooth to use and fits perfectly into the palm, thanks to its ergonomic design. So, you won’t face any issues while using it and your experience will be comfortable.

7 programmable buttons and customisation

The Amkette EvoFox Phantom Pro Gaming Mouse has 7 programmable buttons. You can assign any function to them using the EvoFox Phantom Pro Mouse software, which you can get from Amkette’s official website.
